The turkey bowl lasted much longer than it was supposed to (due to the fact that everyone wanted to play for much longer).

When Link got home it was getting late and he was immediately bombarded by Aryll at the door.

Aryll was wearing a pretty summer dress he had never seen before. She twirled around impressively, "how does it look on me?"

"It looks great," Link fumbled, "how did you buy that?" It looked expensive, and Link worried that she had taken some of his money in order to buy it.

"Zelda bought it for me," Aryll said cutely, "and some other things. I'll have to show you later!" And she ran off to find Tetra.

That made Link feel uneasy. Did she somehow feel obligated to buy his sister clothing? We're the clothes he was putting on her back not adequate for Aryll?

I hope not, Link thought clenching his teeth. Glancing down the hallway, he turned the other way and went up the stairs to the guest bedroom.

Why had she been so nice to them? She bought Aryll clothes, invited them over for the Thanksgiving weekend, and took him out on a date.

Link breathed out happily as he fell back onto the bed. He thought about what Rhoam had said about Zelda admiring him, and now he knew that he, in turn admired her.

Zelda was completely selfless. She was always asking her mother what she could do to help, she always wanted Link to feel comfortable.

Link frowned and wondered if he would've been like that if his parents were still alive.

He shook his head as he pulled off his shirt; it didn't matter. He should strive to be like Zelda, his parents should have anything to do with it.

He looked at his watch, it should be about time to remind Aryll to get ready for bed. Where was she?

Link walked to the door and opened it. To his surprise, Zelda was standing there with her fist outstretched, waiting to knock on the door.

Her eyes focused on his chest and quickly back to his eyes as she flushed red. "I'm sorry!"

She threw the folded towels she was carrying into his arms and took off running down the hall in the other direction.

Link tried to call to her as she ran but she didn't stop and proceeded to dangerously run down the stairs.

"Hmm," Link breathed. That was a little strange. Having his shirt off wasn't that big of a deal was it?

She's just embarrassed?

Aryll ran up the stairs and met Link at the door. She looked up at him, "2what are you doing?"

"I was about to go get you," Link said ushering her into the room to grab her toothbrush, "are you sleeping in Tetra's room again tonight?"

"Yeah," Aryll said grabbing her things and heading out the door. Before she left into the hallway she looked back at Link.

"You know, you should keep your shirt on while you're here."

Link groaned in fake amusement, "I was just getting ready for bed Ryll."

"Ah." She left down the hallway to get ready for bed.

Link laughed when he new she was out of earshot. He loved Aryll, she was amazing.

After brushing and getting into his nightwear, Link quickly fell asleep.

I'm the morning Link quickly showered and packed up his things. He was disappointed to find that Aryll hadn't kept her things organized and had lost her toothbrush.

"Please hurry and find it," Link said patiently, "we're leaving today, we should impose more than we already have."

Link stood by the door as he waited for Zelda, checking his watch every so often. They didn't exactly need to be anywhere soon, Link was just embarrassed for staying so long.

Zelda walked up to him to keep him company, "where's Aryll?"

Link rolled his eyes, "doing what she was supposed to do last night: packing."

"Ah," Zelda said, "well, I'd just like to thank you again for coming over for the weekend, and for going out with me."

"No thank you, Link corrected, "it's been really nice of you to have us."

Soon Aryll joined him and they said their goodbyes.

"Thank you for coming over!" Zelda's mother called.

"Come back soon huh?" said Rhoam.

Link and Aryll waved to Zelda's parents as they got in Zelda's car with Zelda and Tetra.

The car ride back was much more comfortable than the ride to Zelda's house. Link and Zelda didn't stop conversing until they pulled into the driveway.

"I'll see you tomorrow then," Zelda said as Link exited.

"I guess so," Link replied with a smile.

Aryll and Tetra hugged goodbye and whispered in the other's ear. After giggling a little, Aryll followed Link into their house.

When Link shut the door, Aryll flopped into the couch, "that was so fun."

"It was," Link agreed. For the rest of the day Link had to catch up on his studies. He also had to tell Aryll to stop distracting him several times.

But after what seemed the millionth time Link agreed to go outside and play frisbee with her. He was going to try and be a better brother, and a nicer person. He was inspired by Zelda's example.

As Link went to bed that night he thought more about Zelda. Why had she been so nice to them? And why to him? Wasn't he only her sister's older brother to her?

Their siblings were the only connection between them right?

Perhaps that was the start. But they had been out on a date. They weren't just being polite to each other anymore just because it was expected, Link felt as though they mixed well together.

And the date wasn't just any date. It was a date that he had honestly enjoyed. It had exceeded his expectations for any kind of date. He was glad to know that he had enjoyed that date more than his dates with Illia and Malon.

But why exactly had that date turned out better than the others? Link pondered the next morning as he drove Aryll to school.

It didn't take Link very long to draw a simple conclusion. It was because it was with Zelda. And it didn't matter what they would have done, or what they would have eaten, or what other people they had associated with...but it was because it was with Zelda.

And he had told her that she was beautiful. Why had he done that so suddenly? Sure, many people were beautiful in their own way, but Zelda was especially beautiful to him, in a personal way. Was he the only person who saw her this way?

When he had asked Zelda if anyone had ever told her if she was beautiful before, somehow, she had replied no. She was extremely unrecognized.

Link tried to focus during class, but his thoughts kept bouncing to Zelda.

Why was she in his head all the time? Why couldn't he think about anything else? Why was she so distracting?

As he came back home, he anxiously awaited Zelda's arrival. He wanted to talk to her the entire time, and not let her be alone. For some reason also, he felt extremely nervous to do this.

How was this going to play out?

The doorbell rang. Link took a deep breath and walked towards the door.
