《Super Smash Bros Brawl University》Chapter Eight: Thanks Giving is Around the Corner

(A/N) Thanks for reading! :)
Ever since they agreed to stick together, the large group had been hanging out a lot. They spent their lunch and breaks together. All of them. At lunch they all squeezed onto one table. It was difficult, but worked. We are talking about Ike, Roy, Marth, Link, Pit, Zelda, Peach, Samus, Malon, and Midna all on one table. That's ten teenagers or young adults on one table. What a squeeze.
Anyways, the point is that they all stuck together like they said. Sure it took some time to completely accept and get used to Midna and Malon, but it happened.
Now, Thanks Giving Break is around the corner. They would get Wednesday, Thursday (Thanks Giving), Friday, and the weekend off for Thanks Giving break. Now we find our characters in their usual spot of the courtyard discussing their plans...
"Roy, I want you to come home with me and meet my parents for Thanks Giving." Peach said. "Okay." Roy agreed. "What!" Ike exclaimed. "Roy, what about our plans?" He asked betrayed. "Sorry bro. You still have Marth." Roy reasoned. "Yeah, but..." Ike started. "But what? What's wrong with hanging with me?" Marth asked. "Nothing." Ike said quickly. Marth gave him a suspicious look. In return Ike gave him a big smile. "Mmm. I can't wait to eat Lady Palutena's cooking again. So delicious." Pit said dreamily closing his eyes. "I am quite excited to see father again." Zelda agreed. "And it will be good to eat something other than the University's food."
"The thing about Thanks Giving, is I make the food." Malon said. "Same. Sometimes I just get take out." Samus said nodding her head. "You can come spend Thanks Giving with us!" Peach said cheerfully putting an arm around Roy. "No thanks. I don't want to be your third wheel." Samus refused. "You could have it at my place with Ike and I..." Marth said quietly. Samus looked at him. He blushed and looked away. She blushed too. "Yeah...sure. Thanks." She said. "No problem." Marth said still looking at the ground. "Oh boy." Ike sighed watching the two.
"What about you Link?" Zelda asked looking into his eyes. He had been quiet the whole time. "Ooh! You can come over!" Malon offered quickly. "Yeah, sure." Link agreed. "Cheer up sugar! I can make one mean turkey and the best potatoes you have ever tasted!" Malon said excitedly. Zelda's heart fell slightly.
"I can't wait for the chicken!" Ike exclaimed happily. "Chicken?" Zelda asked. "Yeah? At Thanks Giving you eat turkey." Pit said confused. "Yeah, but I love chicken. Thanks Giving is about being grateful. I'd be really grateful with some chicken." Ike said dreamily. Everyone started to laugh. "What?" He asked confused. "Oh. It's nothing." Roy said after he caught his breath. "What are you most excited about, Midna?" Samus asked. Midna had been silent the whole time. "It'll be good to go back home again and see everybody." Midna said nodding.
"Just one more day and we're out of here." Peach thought aloud. Everyone nodded in agreement. There were a few short minutes of silence while people fantasized their Thanks Givings. "Well." Peach said getting up. "I'm going to go start packing. I have a lot to pack and I don't want to have to do it all tomorrow."
"Yes. And I know that for a fact." Zelda said with a small smile. "We'll come with." Samus said standing up. Zelda stood as well. "Bye." Peach said giving Roy a quick peck on the lips. "See ya." He said. as she walked off.

"I'll talk to you later." Zelda said to Link hugging him quickly. "Okay." He said into her hair. They separated and she walked off to follow Peach and Samus.
"Maybe we should pack as well, Malon. You know how us girls can be." Midna suggested. "Nah. I can pack in two hours tops." She said. "Okay. Well I'm going to go just pack some of my things." Midna said standing up and walking away. "Okay." Malon called after her. This would probably be one of her only chances to be with Link without Zelda being there, wait she had Thanks Giving. The thought made her smile.
"What are you thinking about?" Marth asked. "What do you mean?" She asked. "You just smiled for no reason." Marth explained. "Oh...uh..nothing." She said quickly. "Okay..." He said hesitantly. They had a silent stare down. "So!" Roy yelled breaking both the silence and stare down. "So?" Pit asked. "How is everybody?" Roy asked. "Good." Everyone said awkwardly. "Wow. It's awkward without the girls." Ike said after another silence. "No. It's just awkward with one girl." Pit said glancing at Malon. She glared at him. He put his hands up. "Sorry." He apologized.
"Well...I have homework to do." Link lied. "See ya guys around." He said and he started to leave. "Bye." Malon called after him. "You know what? I do too. See ya guys later." Ike said quickily catching up to Link. "See you back in the room, Roy." Marth said walking off. Malon just sighed and began to walk off. She found no point in staying without Link or Midna. "Wait! Where is everyone going?!" Roy called after his friends. Nobody replied or even looked back. "Okay..." He said under his breath. "Marth!! Wait up!" He called jogging over to where Marth was.
-----IN ROOM 17-36-----
"How much are you packing?" Samus asked sitting up from her laying position on Peach's bed. Both Peach and Zelda were at their wardrobes pulling things out. "Everything except what I need for tomorrow and tonight." Peach said. "Same." Zelda confirmed. "An hour after school get's out a car will be here to pick me up. I want to spend that hour saying goodbye to you guys, not packing." Zelda said as she walked into the bathroom to get things she wouldn't need tomorrow, to pack. "Oh. I see." Samus said nodding her head slowly. "I guess I can just leave whenever I want because my car is here, but I'm definitely not staying after you guys leave. I'll just pack later tonight." Samus said. Zelda just nodded to confirm she was listening, but didn't say anything.
Samus had to move so Peach could pack all the extra pillows and blankets she didn't need. "So Marth eh?" Zelda said randomly. "What?" Samus asked knowing she was most likely addressing her. Zelda stopped folding the clothes in her hands to look at Samus. She gave her a look that read 'You know what I'm talking about.' Samus blushed. "I don't know..."
"Yeah. He seems to really like you." Peach piped in. Samus's blush deepened. "So I take it you like him back?" Zelda asked with a smile. "Maybe. I don't know yet." Samus confessed. "Awe!" Peach gushed. "It's not a big deal." Samus complained. "It kinda is. This is your first crush so far." Zelda reasoned. "I said I don't know." Samus reminded them. "Still." Peach said with a satisfied smile. "Whatever..." Samus mumbled.

-----IN ROOM 23-27-----
"So. What made you leave?" Ike asked when he and Link got to their room. "It was just awkward. I just didn't want to be there anymore for some odd reason." Link tried to explain. "Oh." Was all Ike said. "Yeah..." Link said quietly. "You know, I don't think you should go to Malon's. It's obvious she'll probably try something with you and I think Zelda knows it too. You're just going to make her sad." Ike pointed out. "I know. I know. I just didn't want to say no, and now that we're friends I can't say no without a good excuse." Link said glumly. "I already have one for you." Ike said. "Really? What?" Link asked looking up at his blue haired best friend. "Why don't you tell her I begged you to come with me and you finally agreed because you felt bad that I'd be the third wheel to Samus and Marth. It's honest too. I am going to be the third wheel unless somebody else comes. It sounds like everyone else has plans except you...I mean you kinda did...but like legitament plans." Ike explained with a grin. Link sat up. "You're genius!" He exclaimed with an excited grin. "Well...I don't know about genius, but...well yeah. Genius." Ike said with a smile. Link laughed as he pulled out his phone.
He sent a new text to Malon.
Link: Change of plans. I can't go to your house for Thanks Giving. I'm going with Ike, Marth and Samus. Ike begged me to go so he wouldn't be the third wheel to Marth and Samus. I couldn't say no. I'm really sorry.
She replied instantly.
Malon: Okay... :(
Link decided not to reply. Instead he went to his conversation with Zelda and started to type a new text.
Link: Good news! I won't be going to Malon's for Thanks Giving anymore. Ike got me out of it. XD
A few minutes after he sent the message she replied.
Zelda: That's good. I'm so relieved. I don't know if I'd be able to handle you spending break at another girl's house. ;)
Link: Same with you, but with a boy. :)
Zelda: Hehe. Well I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye. :D
Link: Okay :( Bye. :)
-----IN ROOM 23-29-----
"Hey. Why did you leave?" Roy asked when he got into their room. "I didn't see a purpose of staying with you and Malon when I have better things to do." Marth said. "Oh. Packing already?" Roy asked eyeing the suitcases and clothes strewn all over Marth's side of the room. "Yeah." He confirmed. Roy chuckled. "What?" Marth snapped. "Whoa. What's got you in such a mood?" Roy asked holding up his hands defensively. "Sorry..." Marth mumbled. "What were you laughing at?" He asked in a kinder tone. "It's just that all of the girls are packing early and so are you." Marth just stared at him. His face remained blank. "It's like you're a girl. Even though you aren't." Roy explained. "Yeah. I got it." Marth said nonchalantly. "Then why didn't you laugh?" Roy asked confused. "Ha. Ha." Marth said sarcastically before turning back to what he was doing. "Okay..." Roy said hesitantly. Marth was fine earlier...what happened to him?
-----IN ROOM 23-04-----
Pit honestly had nothing to do. He didn't even have a dorm mate anymore. He didn't have home work, it was before break so they didn't give you a lot of work, and what ever he had was already completed. He looked over to DL's side of the room. A bed with a bare mattress, an empty wardrobe, and a desk with nothing on it. Some would've loved to have a room to themself, but Pit was a friendly guy. He enjoyed the company of a room mate. He definitely didn't want DL back, just a room mate.
With nothing better to do, he decided to pack. He left some stuff in the bathroom for tomorrow, an outfit, and a few other things like his bedding. Everything else, he began to pack and put back in his suitcases or boxes.
-----IN ROOM 17-12-----
Midna was sitting on her bed listening to Malon rant on and on about how unfair it was that Link had changed his plans on her. Midna didn't see the big deal. It's not like they started planning the meal or games or anything. He had only agreed to go and that was less than an hour ago. It's not like he changed on the day of Thanks Giving. Malon really liked Link. Sometimes it seemed a little creepy how much she did. Midna kind of liked Link too. At one point in her life she had loved DL, and Link looked like him with lighter features. The best part was he had a great personality and a good heart. He was like DL, but in a better person. She would never admit her crush to anyone. She wasn't like Malon either. She wasn't so into him that she wanted to break him and Zelda up. She actually thought they were a lovely couple. Malon saw things differently. She was too blinded by her own selfishness to care about the feelings of others. Malon could be really nice, but also very fiery. In a way she was kind of a dangerous friend to have. If you liked the same guy, she wouldn't care for your feelings. She was more important. That's why she could never know about Midna's small, but possibly growing crush on Link.
-----THE NEXT DAY AFTER CLASSES BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO SIT AND READ ABOUT THEIR CLASSES-----
Everyone had already finished packing and were all standing together outside of the University. A pink limo pulled up. "That's me." Peach said. "Goodbye. Text me." Peach said to each Zelda and Samus as she hugged them goodbye. "We will." Samus said with a smile. Peach turned to the rest of her friends. "Bye." She said with a wave. The chauffeur took her bags and began to load them in the trunk. "Bye. I'll text you guys." Roy said giving Ike and Marth a bro hug. "See you in a few days." He said to Link and Pit shaking their hands. "Later ladies." He said to the remaining girls. The chauffeur loaded his bags in the trunk with Peach's and he climbed in with her. They waved out the window as they drove off. "Bye!" Their friends called waving. Another limo pulled up minutes later. "That's us." Marth said. He turned to Pit. "See you in a few days." They bro hugged. "See you girls." He said to Zelda, Midna, and Malon. "We'll be picking you up tomorrow night." Marth said. "Okay." Samus said with a small smile. "Goodbye ladies. Pit." Ike said with a nod. Link walked up to Zelda. "I'm going to miss you." She smiled. "Promise you'll call every night?" "Promise." He confirmed pulling her into an embrace. She backed up a little and cupped his face in her hands. She closed her eyes and pulled his face to hers. Their lips touched and sparks flew. Malon's face turned a horrible shade of red. When they separated Link blushed. "Bye." He called to all of them. Marth's chauffeur had taken all their bags in the time it took them to say goodbye. Marth and Ike were already waiting in the limo. Link got in and they drove off. Next Pit's friend arrived to help him carry stuff. "See you in a few days ladies." He said grabbing his stuff. "Bye." They said as he flew off. Yet another limo arrived for Zelda. "I'll text you." Zelda said hugging Samus. Samus laughed. "Okay. See you in a few days." She said. "Bye." Zelda said to Midna and Malon before climbing into the limo which drove off a few minutes later. "I'll see you guys in a few days." Samus said before walking off to the parking lot with her stuff. One last car came for Malon. It was an old beat up truck. "Bye Midna. Text me." She said giving her a quick hug. "Bye." She said as Malon left. Since she had powers, all Midna had to do was transport her and her stuff to the mirror in the desert of Hyrule. There, she opened the portal to the the Twilight Realm and she was off.

The saying goes that when a man is born the Fates weave his destiny and swaddle him in it. Then one day the man dies, and the swaddle becomes a shroud. Heaven moves on. Monstrous Path
This story is both dark and lighthearted, it will have a lot of deaths and gore scenes but not just for the sake of being edgy or something like that. Every being comes from someone’s life — a womb, an egg, the world, a God, and from itself. Then what about me? I came from a container, so what does that make me? Am I still a being? “I do not know — I want to understand — why?” This was my driving force to live when I opened my eyes, I had no need for food, I only needed to satiate my curiosity. But as I learned early on, life was not as simple as it seemed. Note: The Characters in this world would always have a reason for living, and the world moves not just because of the MC. This would also have a lot of tearjerking scenes (or so I would hope) Culture, Race, Government, and Language can and will be different and though some Races like Elves and Dwarves are present, please do not think that they are the same as every other.
