Seth left for one of his camping trips in his past he had done terrible awful things he did not care to talk about those things he had done to anyone for any reason. They were things he did for his people, his home, his family that was the lie he had told himself but in truth it was to please and appease but mostly to distract his father from having a conversation he never wanted to have.
His father Itzamna, is the old, wizened creator god, writing, divination, wisdom, and esoteric knowledge he was the supreme ruler of the Maya gods. He was of the ancient Gods he was the Supreme God of the Olmec, they called him the Earth Monster until their Civilization died out he rested and waited for a new Civilization to rise to power so they could worship him and restore his power the Maya were that Civilization. Their blood sacrifices and offerings of animals made Itzamma powers grow even stronger and for that he shared even more of his knowledge with them.*l
*lItzamma heard of his mothers beautiful deep brown eyes her vibrant fiery red hair her tenderness Itzamma searched across the Universe to find her as his father and mother told him. He did prefer hos father's version though it was more epic fraught with danger intrigue and of course the the vein arrogance of all gods.*l
Artio is a bear goddess in Celtic mythology. She is the goddess of nature, fertility, bears and was worshiped in the region of Gaul. Artio is associated with spring she sleeps during winter and reawakens when the plants and animals wake up. Spring is a time of new life new plants grow and new animals are born. While Artio is known to take the form of a bear she also has been known to appear as a woman wearing a bear skin cloak. She is the guardian of the cycle of life and death also the cycle of the seasons.

His mother was much kinder and gentler than his father but in truth that was not saying very much she would not speak to anyone for almost half of the year because of her nature he had watched her take a newborn from it's because it was crying to much then tell its parents in their dreams it was nature's will. She relished watching the Maya sacrifice enemies to his father he rubbed the scare on his eyebrow that she had given him for in her eyes disrespecting his father because he did not wish to watch bath in the Maya blood sacrifice again.
She was even more cruel and evil in many wats than his father who lusted for the blood sacrifices because of what they did to his powers. At the same time she could be warm, caring and loving her beloved animals were always treated kindly especially her bears he never asked but he always thought that was why even though his father was an old God of the ancient world amd could transform into anything he himself could only become a bear yes any Bear he wished as well as it being of gigantic proportions.
But it was what his father made him do that scared him more than any of the cruelties his mother ever inflicted on him. As soon as he could stand Itzamma started training him in combat and warfare as all boys do he loved the time spent with his father and he loved the training. By the age of ten he was fighting alongside the Maya against their enemies by twelve he was leading his own small unit into battle as he got older he started to fully realize what his father had actually trained him for. It was not for the good of the Maya for their protection it wasn't even to protect his mother it was for the blood he spilled and for the prisoners the Maya would sacrifice to his father.

In the end he had gotten his wish are maybe Karma the winds if fate stepped in because Seth and Itzamma never had that conversation he has regretted not having it every day he hated himself for not being brave are strong enough to have that conversation with his father. The conversation they never had still weighed in him to that day, he realized he would have that conversation with his father the second after he realized why his father had trained him for war. Like all God's hos father believed in his own arrogance his own ego he knew hos father would want him to become the Ruler of the Mayan God's as he was and to relish in the blood sacrifices as well as the wars to in slave other cultures to keep his powers at full strength. But like the human saying goes it's different when you have skin in the game he had seen with his own eyes amd felt it with his own hands what War truly was and to him still is one person's desire to fuel their own arrogance and ego and for fleeting power.
Seth sat their at the spot he had found a millennia ago it was peaceful quiet he would sit there by the fire drinking his Comb 9 Gin and Comb Vodka which are distilled from honey and eating his fish salmon as well as trout and occasionally turn smoked and sushi he was a Bear after all. As he sharpened his axes and kept the rest of his gear in topnotch shape because as they say in peace we train for war.

World Story: Biographies of Extraordinary People
Important note: I’d like to thank Dr. Buller for their advice on dialogue by their critical review. And I’m on a one-month break to post the first revised chapters on Scribble Hub. Please stay tuned! Even in faraway worlds, every folk had a story, and monsters came in numerous shapes and sizes. However, heroes never existed in this otherworld. Even the most idealistic understood this deep within. But as they abandoned their humanity at times, they quickly regained it. It was not that they became human again. They always were. So what happened when the monster devoid of humanity appeared? Well, the “heroes” sought to slay it at all costs either way, lest it would be the end of their stories. A portal/isekai fantasy that I wanted to deconstruct some elements within. Expect a whole ton of references and dialogue because I’ll deliberately write it more like a light novel. The last thing to consider is that Japanese names in my novel will come with kanji/hiragana characters within parentheses. The same goes for any other derived from non-Latin writing systems. It’s because none of the names I write will be accidental or random. They’ll all have meaning. New chapters Monday to Thursday at 11:00 PM (GMT+8), though sometimes I can’t. Credit for the cover art goes to HWPerfidy. She’s a freelance artist on this site, and I’d love anyone who shows her support.
