Delilah wasn't ready to leave Forks just yet. She quite fancied hanging around for a while, maybe play a few tricks on the locals. Or go back to the Cullen house and violently murder Bella while the rest of family watched on, then she'd swoop Rosalie up in her arms and sail away on their happily ever after.

Delilah wasn't sure which she would preferred to do. But decided that the first option was probably best. For now anyway.

It would be a slight understatement to say that Delilah regretted not slicing Isabella's throat open. Not only would she be doing everyone a favour, but it wasn't exactly wrong, was it? Delilah wasn't big on reading the bible but she was sure it said something about an eye for an eye in there. Which is exactly what that would have been.

Besides, she'd love the drama of a murder on a wedding day. Sounds exciting.

However, unfortunately, Delilah had left Bella to live. A little wedding gift from an ex best friend to a bride. Undoubtedly the best present she would ever get.

So, with nothing else to do, two weeks later, Delilah decided she'd make a little visit. Surprisingly not to do anything sinister, just to reminisce.

The vampire was curious on if anything had changed since she was last here. In her house that is. Had they bought a dog to replace her? Changed the wallpaper? Maybe made a shrine just with pictures of her? She had at least hoped they'd done the last one.

"Christ, you stink." Alas, they hadn't done the last one and instead had bought a dog, "You are cute though." Delilah knelt down on the floor and let the golden retriever puppy jump all over, for once not carrying about the hairs getting all over her black clothes, "What's your name, hm?" The brunette picked the puppy up, her eyes focusing on the red collar around its neck. Once she caught sight of the tag, she couldn't help but laugh, "They got their own Sandy, huh? I wonder if they still have mine."

Delilah had a dog when she was little, a toy of course. She'd had it since before she could remember and always took it everywhere, even before she died she was still taking it everywhere with her. There wasn't a night that Delilah spent without Sandy until now.

"Shall we go look?" Delilah placed the puppy back down the floor, and started to walk up the stairs. "Are you allowed up here?" Her brown eyes focused on the puppy who was keeping in step with her, "Oh well, I won't tell if you don't."

Delilah had a soft spot for puppies, she always had. Who wouldn't though? She'd die if Jane ever saw her laughing and smiling down at the little golden fur baby, but thankfully Jane wasn't here. It was just Delilah and her little Sandy.

Or so she thought.

"Aha! Here she is!" Delilah walked into the room, her room, and tried not to focus on it all, Instead waking to her unmade bed and picking the floppy toy that laid on top, "Look, Sandy, this is your Mommy."

Delilah didn't want to look around the room, from first glance everything was exactly how she'd first left it. And she couldn't deal with that. She wanted to see that they'd moved on, accepted that she'd gone and were doing great without her. Maybe they had, but the lack of touch in this room was just telling her otherwise.

"No you can't have her," Delilah pulled the toy out of the pinching jaws of the small puppy that was jumping up for it, "She's mine."

As Delilah sat and laughed at the puppy in front of her, she didn't hear the footsteps that stopped at the door of her room, "Delilah?"

Fuck, fuck, fuck.

Maybe if Delilah just closed her eyes, she'd disappear. It's what she used to think when she was little.

"Lilah, is that really you?" Obviously the eye closing didn't work.

The brunette spun around, her brown eyes meeting the eyes of someone she loved the most in the world- even more than Rosalie. There was no bond like a sister bond, and no one that Delilah had missed more.

She wasn't sure was to say, what was she supposed to say? She'd never been in a situation like this.

"Hi." Out of everything she could say, she went with hi.

Even without Delilah's enhanced vision, she could see the tears pooling in the corners of Maya's eyes, and the way her lip started to tremble. "Is it really you?"

"Well, it's not the pope." Delilah was trying to sound happy, she didn't want to see her sister cry. She never wanted Maya to cry over her. There was something about family that just made Delilah's bad girl persona fade away, while she was stood in this room with her sister, she wasn't a member of the Volturi or a vampire, she was just Delilah George, the teenage girl from Forks.

There was a sobbing noise that emitted from Maya, as she sprinted towards Delilah before falling into her arms, "I knew you hadn't left me. Everyone kept saying that you were dead, they even held a minutes silence at graduation. But I knew you weren't, I could feel you. I told Angela, and she just looked at me as if I grew two heads. She told me you were gone, they weren't searching for you anymore. Everyone accepted it. But I knew. I knew you couldn't be dead."

There was no pain like the one of Maya sobbing in Delilah's arms. Her sister seemed so broken, and it was all because of her, "I'd never leave you, Mai. I love you too much to leave you." Or at least she'd never leave her by choice, "You've been talking to Angela?"

"Yeah," Maya quietened her sobs down, "I like her. A lot. She's really nice, and I knew that you liked her too. Now I can see why." Maya smiled a bit while she spoke, "I speak to Bella too, but not as much. She's always around that Cullen boy so, it's kinda hard to do much talking with her."

Delilah tried not to let the mention of Edward and Bella get to her, she didn't want them to ruin another thing for her. "I saw you went to their wedding."

Now Maya's sobs had completely stopped, instead she had a large smile on her tear stained face as she looked up at her sister, "Oh Lily, it was so beautiful. There were white flowers everywhere, and......and...how did you know I was there?"

The lips of Delilah tightened into a line, there was something she needed to do. As much as she didn't want to, it was the only thing that would make it okay. "There's something I need to tell you, Maya."

At this, Maya's smile also started to disappear, "What is it? Are you in trouble? God, what happened? I knew something was wrong. When I hugged you I could feel it, you feel different, Lilah. You look it too, I can't explain it but something changed. I....can I help you?"

This was the Maya that Delilah knew. The one who would do anything for her sister, she wasn't the stoner that everyone gossiped about, or the girl that was second best to Delilah. She was Maya George, just Maya. "I love you, so so much, you know that? No matter what you were always there for me, even when we had our little arguments.....It hurt. It hurt so much knowing I had to leave you. I never wanted to do that, and you need to know that. If I could I'd stay here forever with you.....I wanna be there when you do all the things we talked about growing up. I wanna be your maid of honour, I wanna be the drunk aunt who lets your kids get up to all the naughty shit. And I wanna be the person you come to when you wanna get shitfaced."

"Delilah-"

"-but I can't be that person. Not anymore, Maya."

"You can be, Lilah. Who else would it be?"

There was a small pull at the corner of Delilah's lips, not one of happiness, more of sadness. "It better not be anyone else, I'm irreplaceable, Maya."

"I know you are."

The brunette pulled her smaller sisters head into her chest, placing a quick kiss against her hair, "Tell me a secret." Delilah whispered, the same words they used to when they were kids cuddling in bed because they were scared of the dark.

Maya giggled slightly as her tears pooled again, she knew this was goodbye, "I love you, Lily."

"I love you too, Mai."

Delilah didn't open her eyes as she felt her power spread through her fingers, she knew what she was doing. She'd done it before, she only hoped it didn't hurt Maya.

As Delilah manipulated Maya's memories, she hummed a small tune the pair used to sing. She wasn't sure if it was to comfort Maya, or herself. Although it didn't really offer Delilah much comfort. She knew she was doing the right thing, she was taking away all the hurt that Delilah had caused Maya, she was filling the painful memories with happy ones. She was making sure her sister would never feel like that again.

She only wished someone could do the same for her.

Delilah didn't hang about to see the effects of her gift. She couldn't bare to be in the house any longer, it was all too much for her now.

In fact, she needed to leave Forks all together.

And there was only one thing she needed to do before she could leave for good.

The door that Delilah had been stood in front of for two seconds swung open, to reveal a rather soul face.

"Tick tock, Olivia."

hi! does this make sense?? it does in my head but idk if it does here. if not here's a rundown;

delilah basically just erased all sad memories maya had of her. so any pain of her disappearance were gone, and also the interaction that they just had in the bedroom had been erased too, as obviously it's quite sad.

so the next chap will be one you've all been wanting! obviously delilah has shown up at the cullen house and we all know who's gonna be there! anyway, i'll hopefully have that up later today or sometime tomorrow so stay tuned i guess <3
