Carson's POV
As soon as Kian got the call, we were all panicking and we all immediatly sobered up. How bad was the damage? And is it serious?
It seemed like forever before we made it to the hospital. I hope my best friend it ok.
I felt bad for the nurse because we all came in rushing at once towards her, asking her loads of questions.
"If ya'll would PLEASE take a seat, I'll be right with you." She says looking at us each, one by one like a teacher looking disaprovingly at her kids.
"But-" Kian starts but the nurses head snaps back at us and she holds her finger up. We all walk in defeat to the leather waiting chairs.
We were all quiet for a while till finally Connor spoke up. "How do you think it happened." he asks to no one specifically.
"I don't know. She seemed fine when I last saw her." Ricky said. I thought about it, trying my best to remember all that happened, still some alcohol in my system.
"I think he might know." We hear a familiar voice say and all of our heads snap up. We see Scout walking in somberly with an incrediably attracktive guy walking beside her, a look of concern on his faced.
Kian immediatly getts up and hugs her tightly before pulling back and giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. Kian lets go of her but settles for one arm around her waist.
"Everyone, this is James. He was the one who saw what happened and without him, Annabelle would probably be dead." She says warily.
I can't help it because he saved my best friends life and so I get up and give him a hug. I can tell he's surprised for a second but he hugs me back figuring how important Annabelle is to me.

"Thank you." is all I can say into his chest and I hear a murmer of solem thank-you's behind me. "Anything for a friends life." He says, still not quite there with us, off in his own land.
"So you said you saw what happened?" I say walking back to my seat and he takes the empty one next to me, leaning over and clamping his hands together.
"Well, she and I became really good friends at the party and we were chatting till she remembered that she hadn't seen her boyfriend in a while, Jc I think?" He says looking around.
Jc silently raises his hand and nods at James. "And so I agreed to help her look for him and while I was checking the dance floor for him, I saw Annabelle pushing through the crowd with tears running down her face. Naturally I went to see what was wrong and I was calling out her name trying to get her to stop running because I knew she was about to run into the street without realizing it. When she finally truned around it was too late.." he says trailing off.
We all sit there in continued silence, soaking in all he just told us.
I look up and around the room and as my eyes land on Jc, a sudden look of realization runs across his face and all of a sudden he looks scared.
No one else saw but me and I narrow my eyes at him. He makes eye contact with me and he knows that I need to talk to him without me saying anything.
"We'll be right back." I say and we both get up. No one questions us because they are all still thinking about what James said.

We walk around the corner to an empty hallway. I stop walking and face him.
"Ok. What gives? You obiously know something and are not telling us." I say crossing my arms across my chest.
"Well you know how someone spiked the punch?" he asks me. I nod silently nod and usher him to continue.
"Well guess who spiked it." He pauses and I just shrug, annoyed that he's not getting to the point.
"Lia. And guess why Annabelle was running out crying?" He says and this time I let him know that I'm annoyed.
"Just get to the point Jc!" I yell.
"Well during the party, when I was really off my senses, Lia persuaded me to go with her to a room and before I knew what was happening we were kissing and as I realized what was happening Annabelle swung the door open and saw us and started running before I could run after her." He says all of this quickly, his words running together.
I stood there stunned, not able to belive what happened. Then my senses come ack to me and I quickly slap Jc across the face. My hand stings and I look down at it.
Jc winces. "I deserve that." he says shamefully. "How could you!" I shout and he shushes me and I nearly slap him again.
"Don't shush me mister!" I say in a hushed, angry voice, relizing how loud my voice was before. I let out a frustrated sigh.
"I know this is really not your fault, but you're going to have to deal with it when we see Annabelle again." I say crossing my arms.
"I know, I know. And that's a price I'm more than willing to pay." He says and I nod. "Good."
We make our way back to the waiting room and we decide that it's best that I tell everyone one by one what really happened and of course I agreeded.
And as I did that, there where a lot of mixed reactions. Realization, anger, pitty, sorrow. Lots of mixed emotions and I delt with them all. Last was James.
He was confused at first but as I continued he nodded in understanding. "Yeah, That's why Annabelle ran out crying." He's silent for a second then nods again.
He surprises me with a hug, but I immediatly relax. It's really nice after all this stress. "No one should have to go through this. I'm sorry." He says as he sympathetically rubs circles on my back. "Well, thank you again." I say.
We were in the waiting room for what seemed like hours. "Visitors for Ms. Annabelle?" we hear a female voice say. We all look up and see that it's the doctor. We all nod.
"We need to talk. And it's not good." is all she says and then my heart stops.

Anchor Points: Age of Heroes
If you had a chance to reset history, knowing what we know now, would you take it? Six years after kicking an alien expeditionary force off the surface of the Earth back to their staging bases in the asteroid belt, and aided by stolen alien technology, the United Terran Republic Navy has finally achieved enough warship production to put the enemy on the run. Despite the facade of unity projected by the Earth's new federal government, deep cracks still lie under the surface that threaten the stability of world peace and the ability to protect humanity with a unified military response. Within this backdrop, the North American Union, now a mere state in the greater union, has created or reopened multiple off-books projects and black sites to house secrets both old and new that would be far too toxic or dangerous to be known to the wider world at such a delicate stage in world history. One of these secrets will draw Captain Henry O'Toole from his comfortable posting with the Jupiter Fleet straight into a world of conspiracies and secrets that could destroy the new, still fragile world order. Captain O'Toole will take command of mankind's first true starship with a secret mission that would be seen as treason by the new federal government. His orders are to use a prototype faster than light drive to travel through dimensions higher than spacetime and ride the expansion of the universe to create an off-books colony solely for the NAU. There are consequences for escaping time's jealous grasp, which instead position them to have a chance to change the course of human history. Fate has called the Indomitable Will and her crew into the Age of Heroes, will they be able to rise to the challenge?

Berodyl stood ready to aid the gods in their strife, but when the time came, the armies of this world never heard the call. They never even saw the battlefield. Alas, they soon found themselves stranded in a land abandoned— now, too, abandoned themselves.
