(Yilluzu's POV)
Once the votes were done. It is understandable that we all agreed to keep going on the test.
"Good... in our team, I will fight first, so you should decide on who am I going against with." Said the big-muscled guy opposite to us.
My companions looked at each other and argued who to go first.
"I will fight first-", said Gon.
"No, I think it's better if I go first," Argued Kurapika. "I think he uses physical strength in fighting, I'll be difficult for you, if you go against him." He reasoned.
They kept on reasoning who would go first, until Tonpa represented.
"I can go first, the game has not that much of a rule, so there's a chance that he won't be using his physical strength to win, in this game what's more important is the players' stability and flexibility in thinking." He explained further.
I admit it's quite persuading and on point, but the thing is, there's also a chance that the enemy would pick a death match and if that happens the only thing left to do is to surrender, which will be the enemy's win.
A~nd my conjecture was right, the enemy wants a death match, the game end if the other surrenders or fight till who die first.
Tonpa stood in front his opponent, but he seems quite calm when his opponent said what is the battle all about.
"I accept," he declared which I think is quite courageous of him. Even I,
was flabbergasted about his decision.
We stood watching what will happen.
Once the battle started, Tonpa's opponent was the first to move, as he was nearing him, my companions tensed, but still he (Tonpa) just stood there calmly.
When Tonpa was about to get hit,

I was kinda interested on what will he do.
Then Tonpa stepped back .....
He kowtowed,
" I surrender!"
'Ehhhhhh??!'
"...."
"...."
"...."
"...."
All of us were speechless,
Where did that placidity and calmness a while ago, go?! ( · - ·)
Just a while ago----
Well, what do you expect, its Tonpa.
'Useless'
Once he got back on our side,
He was faced by the team and was hated.
He looked at us, "I admit that I'm a coward, what can I do? I'm already like this since the start and will be, until I die,"
"What did you say?!" Leorio erupted.
"I choose that, to stay alive," Tonpa said, "Listen, I'm Tonpa. I'm unlike all of you, who dreams to be a hunter, that's why I don't care if all fail." He said with a smug face, which irritated me and partnered with an ugly face it irritated me further.
Like him, I do not intend to be a hunter,
but with his unattractive and infuriating face and expression.
I just can't stand it,
The others felt the same way too,
but it's because of his apathetic attitude.
I walked towards him, and stood in front of him.
He looked up at me, quite tense and startled, he flinched remembering the killing intent that I directed at him back there.
The others just followed me with their eyes and was surprised when I gave the pig teammate a roundhouse kick, and he smashed in to a nearby wall.
"Disgusting,"
I said as I pat the non-existent dust on my pant.
Of course, the kick wasn't that hard. If he died here, then the others will fail.
I walked back at my place and just passively ignored their stares.

(Kurapika's POV)
We were offended by this pig,
but then we saw the least minding person in the group, marched towards him.
His electric blue eyes shone aggressively and coldly, like he was just gazing at a corpse.
We were flabbergasted when he gave Tonpa a kick that made him (Tonpa) collide at a nearby wall.
"Disgusting,"
I heard him said in an icy tone, which
gave me chills and made me feel fear.
He dusted his pants, nonchalantly, and walked back to his side again like nothing happened.
(Yilluzu's POV)
The battle continued, Gon fought next and won, then Kurapika, he won too, now we have 2 wins now, while our opponent still have 1.
Kurapika told us about him after he got back on our side.
He is from the Kuruta Clan, his clans men was killed by the Phantom Troupe, he says.
'Phantom troupe?'
Hmmm... I didn't seemed to have any recollection of them.
Never mind, its just that.
The next round Leorio lost and it's a tie now.
All we need is another win.
But I don't plan on playing with some weakling, so Killua fought.
And as expected he aced it without difficulty,
He ruthlessly crushed his opponent's heart with his hands.
' As expected of the heir chosen by the family.'
They asked him, where did he learned that ability, and they talked for quite a while as Killua explained things.
"My family's already a professional in this field of assassination, if my father were to kill him, you won't even hear any drop of blood. As well as my eldest brother, he was a notorious in this profession even with and at the just age of just 12 ,y.o. back then." He explained.
I just listened to him explain.
He knows me, but why didn't he figure out.
With just our appearance, you can say that we have some similarities.
How can he still be in the dark?
Nevermind, I'll tell him when the time comes. If he still hasn't found me out.
We finally passed the test but we still have to wait in a room for 50 hours because we lose the bet with the opponent.

Ellis Murrin died an unexpected death, but before he could experience the sweet bliss of eternal rest, a God-like being whisked him away. It was looking to be a typical story of transmigration when suddenly, something unexpected happened. Now, he finds himself standing in the middle of an ancient tomb, with a lineage that wasn’t exactly normal and a body that wasn’t entirely human. Waking Up
The story of Larin the Builder in the aftermath of Awakening This short story is the epilogue of Awakening, the first book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. This epilogue is a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers between books without being necessary to the main storyline.Waking Up follows the story of Larin, who is alive but unconscious after her ordeal in the Nine Hells. She awakens in A'lara City a few days later and recuperates under the steadfast care of her repentant friend Jorn.As she reacclimates to her waking state, Larin struggles with her gruesome memories of the Hells and her decision to conceal them from Jorn. This story answers the question, Is Larin all right? with a resounding yes, and some storms on the horizon. It also raises the question, What happened to her down there? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Falling Down, about Larin's ordeal in the Nine Hells. Praise for Waking Up and Falling Down: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between Waking Up and Falling Down is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well.-- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★

Understanding a cultivation world
A modern man armed with having read a few novels about cultivation is suddenly transmigrated to a cultivation world. He fights to both survive and thrive in this new archaic world full of arrogant young masters, demonic sects, and incredibly hostile wildlife. Note: In this story, I wanted to focus a lot more on what most novels skim past in regards to cultivation, namely the whole, spiritual growth aspect that seems to be entirely absent from the prosses of obtaining enlightenment the majority of the time, but the method of gaining cultivation. how it works, and what kind of world would develop around it are all things I wish to explore in this novel.
