So we just had our varsity show last weekend. On the first night of it our youngest trumpet lost her mouthpiece on the stage and wouldn't pick it up for 4 songs! She is in 9th grade and I had to teach her how to tie her shoe yesterday, which worked out pretty well actually. Anyway, on our second night something funny happened. Let me explain first. So how our school is set up, in order to march to the stage e have to go outside and around the back of the school and down the hall in order to get to the cafetorium. Well we were on our way out of the school and me and another trumpet were talking about how she should have someone giver her her gift when we are seniors. That way would be called a deer march, in which she made up. We e deer marching around the school until all of a sudden I run trumpet first into a tall bright yellow poll. Which i found out today, did hurt my trumpet. Anyway we laugh about it for like ten minutes, especially when we were supposed to be quiet. It was great.
