Tony was laying on the couch with Peter sitting on his chest. He laughed when Peter patted his face. The goatee had been a bit new, and the kid so far loved it. Peter was starting to learn about feelings and new foods and started pointing to things he wanted. He was just so cute. "Dada." Peter smiled brightly as Tony stared at him in surprise. Rhodey and his new assistant Pepper looked over when they heard the word come out of the baby's mouth.
Tony smiled brightly and placed a kiss on Peter's forehead. "Yeah! I'm dada! Rhodes, he said his first word! And it was dada!" Tony jumped up with Peter in his arms. Pepper and Rhodey looked at the father, amused by his actions. Peter kept giggling.
"Dada!" He spoke again, grabbing Tony's shirt. The billionaire kissed the child's cheek again, laughing when Peter tried to kiss his cheek as well.
"How cute," Rhodey said as he took a picture of the two. "Have you told Obadiah yet?" Rhodey asked as Tony kept kissing Peter and the child laughed at his father's antics.
"No. He'll think Pete's a distraction and will probably force me to give him up for adoption." Rhodey sighed but nodded. Tony looked at his best friend, smiling. "Pete needs a bath." Rhodey groaned and grabbed his nephew.
"Geez really? Now?" Tony shrugged a smirk on his face. "Go grab the towel, you're helping!" Tony sighed, he hated giving Peter a bath, not only did the kid cry but looked at Tony with the saddest eyes. "Hurry up Tones!" Rhodey yelled as he walked to the bathroom.
Tony went into Peter's nursery and picked up some warm clothes and a light blue towel before heading to the bathroom. Rhodey had Peter sitting on a little mat, decorated with ducks, and was filling the tub with a small amount of water. Tony sat down next to his best friend, frowning at Peter's sad face. "You're making him sad," Rhodey spoke as he gently splashed Peter with water.

Tony turned to glare at him. "Me? You're the one who's giving him a bath." Rhodey rolled his eyes and splashed Tony instead. Tony gasped and stared at Rhodey as the man continued to clean Peter. Tony reached into the bath and splashed Rhodey who jumped away from the tub.
"Seriously? Oh, you are so-" he tackled Tony, grabbing the small cup he was using to rinse Peter and dumping it on him. Tony laughed and shoved Rhodey off of him.
Pepper was preparing lunch when she heard the laughter coming from the bathroom. She had only been around for two weeks and was used to the two messing around. She sighed and started her way upstairs to the bathroom. Sure enough, there was water everywhere and Peter was clapping and giggling, repeating 'dada', as Tony messed around with Rhodey.
"Do I need to start bathing Peter?" She asked as she stared at the two men in front of her. Both looked at her, small guilty smiles on their faces as the two looked around. Peter giggled again, reaching out for Tony. Tony sighed and chuckled.
"No, we'll finish here and meet you in the kitchen." Pepper nodded and smiled. Rhodey shoved Tony one more time before wrapping Peter up in the towel and leaving the room. Tony laughed and drained the tub before following them.
Tony dried and changed Peter while Rhodey went to go change and meet Pepper downstairs. "Alright kiddie. Do you think we can keep this a secret between you and me? No one needs to know me and uncle Rhodey are weird. Well, people can know Rhodey is weird." Peter giggled, and placed both hands on Tony's cheeks.
"Tony! You have to clean the bathroom!" Rhodey yelled, causing both Tony and Peter to look at the door.
"You started it!" He yelled back before walking out of the room and going downstairs. Peter reached out to Pepper when he saw her and the women were more than happy to hold him.
"So? Your bathroom." Tony glared and shook his head. "Fine rock paper scissors?" Pepper sighed and started walking to the table, leaving the two arguing when Rhodey won.

8 139The Supernormal
In a world where fantasy has become everyday, one man stands against absurdity. The local Tower stomps through the streets. Any hedge could contain a witch. Walls regularly crumble, though none more often than the fourth. In the magical city of Blackpool, all ridiculousness is possible, and it takes everything for Jack Of All Trades to survive. Badly, at that. Perpetually late with his rent, he'll take up arms for any paying customer in order to fulfill his quest. His obstacles include polka-loving ghosts, card-game playing vampires, and the most vicious monsters of all: copyright lawyers. When he's joined by an arrogant magus and an insecure vampire, his life gets even more complicated, but no matter what kind of infuriating choose-your-own-adventure he finds himself on, one constant remains—his rent is due at the end of the month. On second thoughts, maybe he should stay in bed. The Supernormal isn't your average web-novel. It's an urban fantasy parody that saunters through a world full of the absurd, delighting in poking fun at popular media, widely-accepted ideas, and often itself. Story arcs only loosely connect through the characters, who are themselves slowly fleshed out as the story continues. Think of Discworld meets The Dresden Files meets Gintama. This novel won't be for everyone, but if it is for you, you're in for a hell of a ride.
