"Possessed huh?"
All of them thought it was not good to go back to sleeping, most especially when they are facing an absurd crisis. They were sitting on the floor of their living room, a circular table separating them. They set down Jimin on the couch and let him sleep there.
"I know it's unbelievable and to think this is really funny, but yes." Yoongi glanced at the sleeping boy before sighing.
"What made you think that?" Taehyung questioned.
"It's not possible but it makes sense. If you connect the dots, you will know for sure." Yoongi crossed his arms. "Remember one morning? Jimin was not feeling well because he had a nightmare or some crazy imagination of that little girl. That night he had another one but then he pushed me away."
"It wasn't like Jimin to do that. Ever since then he stayed in bed while murmuring things we don't know of. He was acting as if he wasn't himself." Jin added with furrowed eye brows.
"And earlier today, he tried choking Yoongi hyung almost killing him to death!" The youngest's eyes went wide following a gasp.
"When he was choking me, his eyes were different. Like they were craving for death, bloodthirsty for human's pain. His sinister grin says it all on his face."
"Could it really be possible?" They all turned their heads to the person lying on the sofa after what Hoseok said.
"I think it's more than possible. I guarantee you, he is really possessed." Namjoon stated in a voice filled with terror.
"Yeah? Then please do, explain why." Taehyung scoffed, almost sounding like he wasn't convinced.
"Right, you suddenly got quiet all of a sudden. What are you doing in your phone all this time?" Jin asked.
"Remember when I told you that the language he was blabbering sounded familiar? Turns out it was from a country in south-east Asia called Philippines, their language is Filipino."
"Filipino?"
"Yes and fortunately, I have studied this language when I was 11 but some words are a little hazy in my head."

"Why did you study that language?" Jungkook lifted his eyebrow.
"For personal reasons." The latter simply replied. "The word he was muttering is somewhat familiar to me."
"Ma-ma-maday ga-yo? Or some shit like that." Yoongi shrugged his shoulders, looking at Namjoon hoping he understood it somehow.
"Death..."
"Excuse me?" Hoseok leaned in closer to the guy.
"That's what it means, death. It says 'You'll die'." Namjoon's lips quivered as he explains to his friends.
"Well he kinda choked me almost to death so I guess we should've guessed that far ahead." Yoongi lowered his head, his bangs covering his eyes.
"What could this 'spirit' want with us?" The youngest in the room asked bluntly.
"This spirit, I mean that little girl Jimin spoke of, never bothered us before until three days ago." Taehyung furrowed his eye brows and looked at his friends. "It was the day we found that box..."
"That would explain everything."
"I agree." Yoongi nodded his head to Hoseok's statement. He crossed his arms and thought deeply. "How would we stop this madness?"
"I suppose consulting someone would be pointless. They won't believe us." Jungkook frowned.
"There's no point in hiding it anymore," All of them turned their heads to the older as he spoke.
"What do you mean hyung? Is there something that we're supposed to know about?" Namjoon asked on behalf of everyone else.
"I'm sorry if I had to hide this from all of you but keep in mind that I hid it for all of your safety."
Taehyung nodded his head understandingly, "It's fine hyung. Now please, tell us what you have to say cause we're all worried and scared."
"I know more of the photo than I let on. When I saw it, I remembered something that I used to hear as a folk story and trust me, the first time I heard it, I never wanted to remember the story ever again so I tried forgetting."

"This is already giving me goosebumps." Hoseok shivered in fear.
"So what was the story?" Jungkook furrowed his brows, curiosity hitting the youngest.
"There was a little girl called Janice took her own life because she hated herself. Some folks who knew her said that she was once a sweet girl but as time flew by, she grew different like she was literally a different person. Even death didn't stop her from hating herself that everyone who knew her existence was haunted by her. She didn't leave them alone until they die. Slowly, this story was long forgotten that the people thought it was nothing but a legend.
Up to this day, nobody knows if the story of Janice is a bluff or that she keeps on haunting those who know of her. But as long as she is within people's knowledge, she'll never rest."
"That's... disturbing." Yoongi muttered after a long eerie silence. The other looked like their souls went out of their bodies.
"I was terrified enough that I wanted to erase the story from my head. I never said anything before because I thought it was just another fake folk stories. But then Jimin started acting different and I remembered the photo we saw, it was so similar to the story..."
"Wait so you mean...?"
Jin looked at his friends and nodded approvingly, "Yes, if the story is real, we are all being haunted as we speak."
"But it doesn't make sense, why is it only going for Jimin?" Yoongi but his lips.
"I don't know that either but since we all saw the photo together, we are all for sure in danger."
"N-no... this is all a lie! Come on guys, I know this is just another prank to scare me! Where are the cameras?" Hoseok stood up from the floor and tugged on his locks, looking around the room.
"Hobi, unfortunately, this is no joke." Taehyung gave a worried look to the older.
The latter just laughed hysterically, "This is all crazy! I don't want any part of this! I ain't being haunted by some little girl shit!"
As Hoseok was walking to the door's direction, it suddenly closed shut and the lights flickered at the living room. Hoseok screamed and ran to where his friends were. "What's going on?!"
"It's dangerous to split up at this point! Like I said, all of our lives are in danger!" Jin shouted, voice cracking and face showing horror when they heard a little girl's voice laughing at a distance.
"Wait, Jin hyung you said we're being haunted because we all saw the photo. Which means the only way to stop this is to burn it down right?" Namjoon's eyes went wide hopefully, trying to think clearly despite of their unbearable state.
"I'm afraid it's too late for that now! Even if we did burn the photo, it will be useless cause we already know Janice's existence! She won't stop until she kills us all!" They winced at the metal colliding at the wall making a screeching noise.
"And either way, we can't! We threw the box away days ago!" Taehyung shouted while covering his ears from the whispering he hears.
"You mean that box that Jimin hyung's holding?!"
After Jungkook's statement, everything stopped. The flickering of lights, the little girl's evil giggles, the screeching metals on the wall, it all stopped. Their heartbeats couldn't get any louder at the moment paired with trembling fingers and mortified looks. They quickly turned their heads to Jimin, who surprisingly didn't wake up from the noise, and saw the little box in his hands.
"W-why is this still here? We already got rid of it!" Taehyung but his lips.
Yoongi reached out his hand and grabbed the box, opening it with anxiety. The first thing he saw was the photo and much to his surprise, "Guys, the girl is not in the photo anymore."
