Chapter 12

I snapped my head towards him in disgust and horror. Who in the living hell would just walk up to a person they don't even know and slap their butt?

Tyler and Lina looked at the boy that was standing behind me with a shocked expression. The boy looked like he was my age or older and he found my state amusing. He had a smug look on his face. Did this guy go to every girl and hit on them by slapping their butts?

I glared at him and thankfully we didn't catch much people's attention.

I was about to ask him why the hell did he do that when an angry alpha came stalking towards us with a dangerous glint in his eyes. He growled loud enough for people to hear which made them exit the dining room as soon as possible because no one wants to be in the same room with an angry alpha.

He walked up to us and grabbed him by his shirt and glared at him with dark eyes. I kind of felt bad for the boy as his eyes widened in horror and he gulped in fear. No, I take that back, he deserves it.

"Don't you dare touch someone inappropriately like that in front of a crowd ever again or I will do something you don't like," Alpha Mason said in a dangerous tone as he glanced at me. I felt my cheeks redden, above all people he had to be the one who saw that?

"And I don't want to see you near her ever again. Do I make myself clear?" He asked. The boy immediately nodded his head and Alpha Mason roughly threw him on the ground and glared at him. His eyes were pitch black indicating that his wolf wanted control.

He stepped back and glanced at me one more time before walking out of the room. I stood there trying to realize what just happened. I looked over at the boy and he got off of the floor and sighed in relief when his alpha exited the room.

"Why the hell did you do that? Would you like it if I just came up to you and slapped your butt out of nowhere? Wait, no. Would you like it if I smacked your face out of nowhere?" I told him while placing my hand on my hip. His face turned towards me and once he made eye contact with me his feared expression went away and turned into that same smug look.

"If it came from you I wouldn't mind," he flirted. I rolled my eyes in annoyance and stepped away from him. Did what Alpha Mason just say to him didn't register in his mind? Tyler stepped up and glared at him.

"You heard what the alpha said, Kyle," Tyler growled at him. Kyle furrowed his eyebrows and glared at Tyler.

"I don't really care what he said," he growled at him. Lina stepped forward and crossed her arms against her chest.

"Oh really? Because when he was here it looked like you were about to piss your pants," she said with a smirk. Kyle growled again and stepped forward but Tyler immediately got up to his face.

"Don't try to mess with Tiana again Kyle, or with any of our friends and if you do then I won't hesitate to tell the alpha," Tyler threatened him. Kyle smirked at him and turned his stare towards me.

"Tiana? Nice name." He said as he backed away, "we'll be seeing each other more often." And with that, he turned away and walked off. Tyler growled again and Lina was glaring at the door. I looked at them and raised a brow. Judging from what happened I could tell that they didn't really like him. Neither do I.

"Who's he?" I asked. Lina scowled and faked gaged. Tyler sighed and ran a hand over his face.

"His name is Kyle and he's a male version of Chloe," Lina replied. I slowly nodded my head at that.

"In other words, he's a man whore." Tyler said, "he literally hooked up with most of the sluts in this pack and it's kind of a goal for him to sleep with every girl."

I furrowed my eyebrows in disgust. Am I the only one who finds these kinds of men not attractive?

"Be careful from him, Tiana. He's not good news." Lina said. I nodded my head at her. No way was I going to go near him, he's everything I hate in one person. Ok, I'm exaggerating again. But still, ain't going near him.

They smiled at me and we soon sat down at the table and ate breakfast. We talked for a while until Tyler got up to head to training. We washed up and left the dining room.

"Let's head towards the field so I can see the rest of my friends and ask Mason since he's the one training them today," she said. I nodded my head and ignored my wolf purring at the sound of his name. We walked outside of the packhouse and towards the field where everyone trained.

Some people looked our way but eventually focused on their training. I saw Alpha Mason from a distance and he immediately turned his head towards us and made eye contact with me. I looked away and placed my attention anywhere but him.

We walked towards the benches and stopped as Lina faced me.

"Ok, you sit here as I go talk to him. Let's just hope he's not in a grumpy mood or we'll have to sneak out again," she said the last one with a smirk. I chuckled at her and shook my head.

"Let's hope," I said. She smiled at me and walked towards him. I let my eyes roam the field and found Adam looking at me with a grin. He waved at me and I waved back as he went back to training. I was watching him train when someone sat next to me on the bench.

I turned my head and found Ryder sitting next to me with a smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes at him.

"So, did you change your mind about the date?" He asked.

I shook my head at him and smiled.

"No, I didn't," I answered. He sighed but smiled a bit.

"Come on, you're the only girl who ever rejected me. Do you know how much that hurts my ego?" He asked. I chuckled at him and shook my head again.

"Well, someone has to show you your place," I told him. He crossed his arms over his chest and pouted teasingly with amusement in his eyes.

"Oh really? Where's my place then?" He asked. I placed my finger under my chin and pretend to think.

"Under a rock," I joked. He faked gasped and shook his head.

"You truly are something," he muttered but then looked at me with a smile, "and that's what I like." I rolled my eyes at him and chuckled. I brought my attention back to Lina and her brother and they were talking, Alpha Mason had a frown on his face as he glanced at me but turned his attention to his sister.

Lina had her hand on her hip and was poking her pointer finger on his chest which looked like she was giving him a lecture. I raised my brow at them in curiosity. It was an unusual sight to see an alpha getting lectured by someone else, at least, that's what it looked like.

After awhile of Ryder teasing and joking around Lina finally came back with a smile on her face.

"We're going to the city," she said. I smiled at her and got up.

"That's great, are we going now?" I asked. She nodded her head and looked at Ryder as he got up.

"Can I come with you guys?" He asked. Lina shook her head no.

"No, unless you want to go shopping with us," she said. Ryder immediately shook his head and chuckled.

"No, I don't. Have fun you two," he said as he walked away. We walked back to the packhouse to pick up a few stuff Lina needed when she stopped and smiled.

"This time we're going in a car," she said. I tilted my head at her and nodded.

"Ok, but how come we didn't go in a car the other time?" I asked.

"Because the car belongs to Mason and if he noticed that it was gone then he would have known we were gone too," she answered. I smiled and nodded my head again. We walked outside and there was a nice car in front of the packhouse.

"Do you know how to drive?" I asked. She nodded her head at me.

"Yes I do," she replied. We entered the car and Lina drove off. After a couple of minutes of driving, I was holding on to the seatbelt for my dear life. Lina was one of the worst drivers I have ever seen. Who the hell gave her a driver's license?

"Lina, can you like, I don't know, slow down?" I asked. She smirked at me and drove faster. I prayed that today wouldn't be the day I died because I still had lots of things to experience.

"If I die today it's because of you," I told her. She chuckled and shook her head.

"Calm down Tiana, I'm a perfect driver." She stated. I scoffed at her and shook my head.

"Yeah, so perfect you were almost going to crash into a freakin wall," I told her sarcastically. She rolled her eyes at me.

"Well, you're lucky that we made it." She said as she parked in a parking lot in front of a mall. Well, that was fast. I sighed out in relief and was literally going to fall to the ground and kiss the floor.

We got out of the car and walked into the mall.

"So, what are we going to do?" I asked. She turned at me and smiled.

"We'll walk around, buy some stuff and eat lunch." She replied. I nodded my head as we walked through the shops. Before we were even there for five minutes Lina stopped and smiled.

"Let's go in there, it looks like it has cute dresses." She said. We walked in the store and looked at many clothes. Lina grabbed a couple of dresses and gave them to me. I raised a brow at her and she pushed me towards the fitting room.

"Try some of these," she said.

"Why?" I asked her. She didn't say anything and just rolled her eyes and pushed me into the fitting room. She closed the door and I had three dresses in my hands. I sighed and took off my clothes and wore the first dress. I look at the mirror and cringed from what I was wearing. I was wearing a red short dress that just made me look slutty.

"You dressed?" Lina asked from outside the fitting room.

"Yeah, but I'd rather not show you," I told her.

"Just open the door," she demanded. I rolled my eyes and opened the door. Lina cringed as well and shook her head. I closed the door and dressed in another one. This dress wasn't as bad as the other dress but it showed a lot of cleavage and no way in hell was I going to wear that.

"So? How's the other dress?" She asked. I opened the door and let the dress do the talking. She shook her head again and I closed the door and dressed into the last dress. This dress was white and it was a little tight on the upper part of my body but loose below my hips. It landed right above my knees and I smiled in approval.

I opened the door and Lina's eyes widened and her lips grew into a huge smile.

"Come on, let's pay for that." She said. I raised my brow at her and grabbed my clothes.

"Wait, let me change first," I told her. She smiled and shook her head.

"No, you're staying in that." She stated. She pulled me out of the fitting room and we paid for the dress then ripped the tag off. We got out of the store and placed my other clothes in a bag. I shrugged it off and continued to walk next to Lina.

We went from store to store buying a couple of stuff. I didn't buy much but Lina bought a lot which I doubt will even fit in her closet.

After a couple of hours, I was tired. How could people do this all day? Lina and I decided that it was time to eat lunch so we went to the food section and ordered food and sat down. We talked for a bit until Lina got up and got our food. When my food was placed in front of me I was literally drooling. I ate and I bet from afar I looked like a fat pig drowning itself in food. Yeah, I know. Sad.

After we were done we just stayed there and talked. After half an hour passed Lina looked at me and smiled.

"I know an ice cream shop close to here, you want to go?" She asked. I smiled but raised a brow.

"But we just ate," I told her. She shrugged her shoulders.

"Fine, if you don't want to go then we won't." She stated.

"I never said I didn't want to go girl. Come on," I told her as I got up. She chuckled and we walked out of the mall. We got in the car and thankfully the ice cream shop wasn't far away or I would have passed out in the car from fear of Lina crashing us into a tree.

We entered the shop and my eyes lit up. This place is little kid's dreamland. My dreamland. It had everything you could call candy or sugar. We walked up to the ice cream section and there was a lady that smiled at us.

"Hello, how may I help you?" She asked.

"We would like to get some ice cream. I want the strawberry one. What do you want?" Lina asked me.

"Chocolate," I told her. The lady nodded her head and gave us our ice creams. We went and sat at a table and ate our ice creams. Now, I know what you guys are thinking. How could we eat ice cream when we just ate lunch? Well, let me tell you. If I could eat this entire shop then I would. Nobody could ever separate me from my food. Period.

Lina was saying some joke when she froze and her mouth hanged open. She was staring at the entrance with a shocked expression. I furrowed my brows in confusion and looked back to see a man walking in the shop. I looked at Lina and she placed her finger over her mouth. She slowly got up and pulled my hand.

The man was up at the counter and Lina and I was walking towards the exit so his back was facing us. I gave Lina a questioning look but she gave me a look saying she will tell me later. We were about to exit the shop when the same guy turned around and his eyes widened.

"Lina?" He asked. Lina's eyes widened and she pulled me out of the shop and walked fast to her car. I got on and the guy exited the shop and was running towards us but before he could catch up to us Lina drove off. I stared at Lina in confusion but she just sighed.

"Who was that?" I asked. She didn't answer and after a while she parked the car and got off and opened my door. I gave her a confusing look but she just told me to get out of the car. I then noticed that she parked us in front of a bar.

"What are we doing here?" I asked.

"We did say we're going to have fun," she said as she walked toward the door. We entered the bar and there weren't much people in here since it was daytime. We sat on stools and Lina ordered drinks.

"Who was that guy?" I asked again.

She looked at me and shrugged her shoulders.

"He was a guy I used to date," she said, "he was too possessive of me so I ended it with him and because I knew one day I'd find my mate."

"You dated a human before?" I asked. She nodded her head.

"I really didn't want to face him again."

I nodded my head in understanding.

She shook her head and sighed but soon smiled.

"Let's forget about that. We came to have some fun," she said as she grabbed her drink. I smiled and nodded my head as I grabbed mine.

We drank them and started talking about other stuff. There were some guys that tried to hit on us but we didn't give them the satisfaction. We were laughing at a joke when Alpha Mason spoke through the Mind Link.

"Lina, Tiana. Where are you guys?" He growled. My eyes widened when he said my name. That was actually the first time he ever said that. Lina's eyes widened too.

"Why?" She asked.

"Tell me now!" He growled.

"We're at a bar," she said hesitantly. He growled loudly.

"Dammit Lina, I told you to not go there." He said.

"What's wrong, Mason?" She asked. He growled again and spoke.

"There are rogues around the city."
