I walked into the house and shut the door. Chica ran up to greet me, wagging her tail. I stroked her soft fur. She always made me feel better after hard sessions. Mark and I decided to adopt her when I started to have flashbacks.
I took off my shoes, walked into the kitchen, and set the pills on the marble counter top. The house seemed so lonely with Mark gone. I missed him dearly. I grabbed the bag of dog food and poured some into Chica's bowl.
"Hello again," I heard a voice call. I recolonized it, but it sounded far away, so I couldn't pin whose voice it was.
"Hello?" I called. Unless Blank was messing with me, no one should be in the house. I looked around but found no one. "It was probably just my imagination," I said to myself, not fully believing it.
I went back downstairs and turned on the tv. Then, I went and washed my hands in the kitchen. I could see the tv through the open island that separated the rooms. I started to cook dinner while I listened to the world news.
"It seems there has been another murder in Seoul, Korea. The killer has not yet been caught. Today's victim was Sonuk Fischbach, the mother of famous YouTube Star Markiplier. Please if you live in this area, stay in your homes and do not open the door to anyone you do not know! If you see any suspicious activity, report it immediately. " the new reporter continued to speak, but I couldn't hear. I couldn't see. I couldn't breathe.
"You're weak. You're going to break. I know you will. It is inevitable. No one loves you. No one cares. You should just die. That is what you are best at anyway," Dark taunted Ethan, circling.

"You're wrong! I'm-"
"SHUT UP! You're nothing!" Dark shove Ethan against the wall and pressed his knife against his throat until blood started trickling down. Ethan was flailing and gasping for air. "Do you understand me? Nothing! You will always be nothing!"
Ethan nodded his head, unable to breathe. Dark pulled the knife away and let Ethan collapse. He gasped for air, tears streaming down his face. Dark started to walk away, but suddenly turned around and stabbed Ethan in the thigh, causing him to scream in agony. Dark made sure is was deep enough to hurt, but not deep enough to cause life long injuries. He didn't want is pray to be too easy now did he?
