Dethan POV

I woke up as soon as I heard my alarm went off, guess it's time to wake up and get ready for school. Just another day without my mate.

My brothers & I have been waiting and searching for our mates since our 18th birthday 6 months ago and we've had no luck. Most of our friends who have come of age to find their mate have already found their soulmate. While us the Davis Triplet, the Alphas of the pack are stuck at a dead end.

My brothers have already given up hope that we would never find our mates or we would find them in years to come. So they have been sleeping around with everyone, going to every party and getting wasted just to relieve the pain of being alone. But I still have faith that our mates will come to us sooner than they thought.

I got up from bed did my morning routine then went to my closet to get an outfit

"Dress presentable today" my wolf Nick said

"What's the occasion Nick?" I asked confused while searching through my clothes

"Just do it Dethan you will see why"

"Okay, just leave me in the dark then"

Nick is a gray wolf with white undertones and purple eyes.

Me, Ethan and Nathan are the only ones who can communicate with their wolves that we knew of. Everyone keeps saying it's because we have a special bond and our wolves are powerful and wise beyond their years. Everytime we bring it up to our wolves they just shut us down for some reason.

After looking I found a purple t-shirt and blue skinny jeans to wear. I got dressed and headed downstairs for breakfast. When I got in the kitchen, mom is finishing breakfast, dad was drinking coffee & reading the newspaper and the other two were on their phones.

"Took you long enough" Nathan said

"I wasn't even that long me and Nick were having a conversation" I replied then mom brought the pancakes and eggs on the table.

"Eat up and hurry along to school before y'all are late"

"Okay Mom" we all responded

We all eat our breakfast then got in our cars and went to school. As I'm driving I got a good feeling about today maybe it's gonna be a great day. I pull into the school parking lot, got out and walked inside. When I got inside I picked up a faint scent of coconut and pineapples then my mind started to go haywire.

"What's going on Nick? " I asked confused for the second time this morning.

"Just followed the scent" He said so I walked around for about 5 minutes and still haven't found the person the scent belonged to. Then the bell rings.

"I have to go to class. Maybe I find the scent after class since the person seems to go to school here now" I said to Nick while walking to class

"You don't have to do that"

"Why would you say t-" before I could finish what I was saying the scent got stronger as a boy with the most beautiful eyes was walking towards me.

"This must be the person,this is our.." I said to myself

"Mateee" Nick screamed in my head before I could. We were both excited at this point.

"He isn't 18 yet Nick he doesn't know we're his mate. We need to play it cool"

"Why? When you can just tell him" Nick said confused

"No not yet"

"Okay fine don't mess it up"

"Do you know where accounts 301 is?" He asked me

"Yes I do, I have that now just follow me." I finally found my mate and I'm talking to him.

"Ok, thank you."

"No problem, are you new here? , whats your name?" I asked him

"Yes, my name is Liam, what about you?"

"My name is Dethan, nice to meet you. Well, here is class Mr. Banks is cool, so he's not going do anything with you being late since this is your first day."

"I hope so."

I walked into the class and all eyes turn to the door to see the new kid. I walked to my seat thinking Mr Banks wasn't going to see me.

"Good morning to you too, Mr Davis." Well that didn't go as plan

"Good morning, sir." I said with a smirk

I got to my seat, sat down and watched everything he was doing. After so many months my mate was finally in front of me. Mr Banks told him to take a seat next to Mya who was two tables ahead of me.

"Stop staring it's creepy" Nick said

"Yeah you're right" I took out my books for class

"As always" cocky much

As class went on I sneaked in some glances at Liam while Mr Banks was teaching. Then class was over a few moments after. He walked out with Mya heading to his next class.

I went to my class which was Maths. I got there early so I seat down then thought of how beautiful and sweet my mate is. I can't wait til I tell everyone he's mine. After a while the bell rang and the teacher came in and took me out of my thoughts. She started to teach right away but I couldn't quite focus.

When class was finished I packed up my stuff and went to my locker to get my books for my next class. I got there and found my brother waiting on me. We walk to class together since we have this one class with each other.

"You seem happy today. What's going on??" Ethan asked me

"Nothing let's go to class" I said then they both looked at each other confused

As we're walking to class I saw Liam with Aaron I think his name was, Mya must've introduced them since they're friends.

We walked into class and took our seats then they both came in the class too. Guess he's in this class too. I smiled when he sat down next to me.

"Hey there, how is your first day going??" I asked

"Hey, it's going fine"

"Dethan who's that? Aren't you going to introduce us to your boyfriend" Nathan asked getting in our convo.

"He's not my boyfriend and his name is Liam he transferred here." I said, well he isn't yet

"Im Ethan, aren't you the boy that walked into me earlier. " here goes the other one. After Ethan asked that Liam turned around to look.

"And run into me earlier with your friend?I'm Nathan by the way"

"Maybe maybe not" Liam said

He turned back around and said to me

"I don't like them so much" I laughed

"Why" I asked him with a little chuckle

"They were mean as hell when I bumped into them"

"Don't mind them, they're just foolish asf"

After tha Ms Lovell walked into class and announced that we have to get into groups of 4 for a project. I asked Liam if he wanted to be in my group and he said sure but when I suggested the new two persons he didn't want them to be in the group but I convinced him to let them join.

Once we were in the group Ms Lovell came to our table, introduced herself to Liam and gave us the topic of "The Great White Wolf" then said we can't change the topic or partners. We shared some information on the topic with each other then wrote down some of the important things. Then the bell rings for lunch.

Liam and my two brothers got at it again before Nathan and Ethan got up and headed for lunch.

"See you whenever Liam" I said with a smile and walked out behind the others.I finally caught up to the others.

"What's y'all problem with Liam? " I asked kinda annoyed

"He irritates the hell outta me" Nathan said

"You don't even know him" now they were the ones irritating me

"Why are you defending him so much? " Ethan asked suspiciously

"Nothing but y'all are being rude for no reason. Let's just go get lunch" I said calming down.
