《Angry Birds movie (rewritten)》Epilogue

Back on the hillside overlooking Pig City, the birds watched and waited for signs of Red and his friends. They gasped in surprise as they saw Mighty Eagle flying toward them, the net of eggs held securely in his talons, and the castle behind him exploded. A truck that Terence drove with the launched birds caught up with Mighty Eagle up back to the hill.

"Cramp. Cramp," Mighty eagle carefully put the net down, and landed exhaustingly.

Edward looked closely at Mighty Eagle as he chuckled, "Well. This guy looks nothing like his statue."

The birds rejoiced when they got their eggs back. Matilda and Peckinpah began handing out the eggs to the birds they belonged to. Soon every set of bird parents was reunited with their eggs. Even the Mime Bird just snuggle an invisible egg.

Chuck approached Bomb and Aggie, who were covered with ashes on their faces, "Are you two okay?"

"Yeah, we're alright," Aggie dusted off the ashes from her body.

Bomb ruffled Chuck's head feathers, "Chuck, my man. - Did you see what I did back there?"

All except for two birds named Olive and Greg, who were parents of the blue egg that had been left behind-the one Red had fought so hard to save. They thought that their egg didn't survive from the pigs.

Suddenly, the moment interrupted when the birds realized the whole city was destroyed with no sign of Red returning to them.

"Where is he?" asked Chuck.

"Red," called Bomb.

"I hope he made it," Aggie whispered in worry.

Mighty Eagle got up, and started to get worried when he saw the destroyed Pig City and remembered that Red was left behind. After several very long minutes, the birds began to give up hope that their friend had made it out safely with the last egg. Chuck, bomb and Aggie would not budge from their spot. The idea that Red was gone was just too painful to bear, even for Aggie.

"I think he might be dead," whispered Chuck.

The three birds started to cry as the other birds behind them started to walk away in sadness.

All of a sudden, Red emerged from the rubble, coughing dust from his throat.

The light-green hatchling, whose egg hatched from accidentally by Red, noticed him, and shouted, "DADDY!"

This got the other birds' attention as they turned to see Red alive from the rubble.

"He's alive!" shouted Chuck. The other birds cheered and shouted happily.

When he watched the other birds cheered for him for being alive, Red carefully took out a cracked egg on his wings. The birds gasped as they thought the egg was smashed. Fortunately, the egg was already hatched, revealing three baby blue birds came out from the last piece of their egg. The birds cheered again.

His best friends rushed happily down the hill meet up with him .

Aggie hugged Red tightly and affectionally, "Red, thank goodness, you're alive. I thought you're a goner!"

"I'm glad you're alive. I thought you died or defected to the pig's side," Chuck added as he hugged him too.

" Hey, buddy, way to not be dead," Bomb patted Red's back.

"It's good to see you guys," Red replied, and he really meant it this time. He's happy to see his friends.

The four made their way to the hilltop with many birds cheered for Red. Then, he noticed a bird couple mourning sadly under a tree. Red knew there were parents who have an egg that is missing, so, with no second thoughts, he approached them with the three hatchlings on their shell.

"Sir, Ma'am," He called as Greg and Olive turned to Red and gasped in surprise when they saw three baby blue hatchlings on his wings. "I think these belong to you."

Red gave the blue hatchlings back to the couple as they pounced off their shells and hugged their mother.

Olive cried in happiness as she hugged her sons, then glanced at Red, "Thank you."

red couldn't help but smile. He had done it. He had saved all the eggs! Just like he'd promised.

Mighty Eagle approached the quadruple. He looked happy and relieved, "Oh, Crimson, Woody, Ash, Sharpy."

"Is he talking to us?" asked Chuck.

"I think so. I think he is talking to us," responded Aggie.

"You learn your lessons well. Come on, bring it in," Mighty Eagle pulled the four birds into a big and awkward hug.

"No. I'm not the really affectionate type," Red muffled from the hug. "Does it feel like this is crossing the line, anyone else?"

"Yep," Chuck said.

"No," Bomb answered.

"Probably. I don't get it," Aggie didn't even care.

Mighty Eagle released them from his grip, "You're my prize pupils," he said proudly.

"Your prize what?" asked Red.

"Ho ho, don't you see?" Mighty Eagle said. "I had to make you lose faith in me. So you can learn to have faith in yourselves!"

"That's not really how it felt," said Chuck.

"Tell them, Rosie," Mighty Eagle told Red.

"Yeah, I don't think that's what happened, man," agreed Red.

"Oh look, he's blushing," said Mighty Eagle, pointing to Red.

"I'm not blushing, I'm just red," said Red.

In the following days, the birds rebuilt Bird Village, fixed every destroyed houses, and recreated new stuffs.

In the center of the village, Red, Chuck, Bomb and Aggie started at the new and even bigger statue of Mighty Eagle. The statue honored Mighty Eagle's latest act of heroism, when he saved all the eggs.

"Wow. Is that you right there, Red?" Chuck inquired.

"Aw, really? Where? No, they didn't have to..." Red searched himself on the statue of Mighty Eagle, only to see himself kneeling and crying. "Oh. Yeah. That's funny. I don't remember crying on my knees like that. But, you know, it's nice."

Aggie giggled, "I think you look funny there, but it's still good."

Look at that. They gave Mighty Eagle all the credit," said Chuck. "They made him look so much more handsome than you. You know, back when I was angry. That would have really ticked me off."

" Ah, forget about that," said Bomb.

"You know what we should do? Let's go to the village," suggested Aggie.

Red looked at the three birds awkwardly, "No. Actually I love to go... ... hang out with you guys. But you know I got this thing. And I have another thing after that thing - and there's all these things in a row..."

Chuck, Bomb and Aggie ignored Red. They started walking towards the village. Red followed close behind. As they approached the hill overlooking the village, Bomb stopped and smiled.

"Would you look at that," he said, pointing up ahead.

Red could not believe his eyes. All the birds were rebuilding his house... in the village, They were waiting for him, standing in front of Red's newly rebuilt house. Red was at a loss for words.

"What the...? He asked, incredulous. Red walked towards his new home as chuck, bomb and Aggie followed him.

The crowd of birds made way for their hero to his house.

Judge Peckinpah approached Red with warm welcome, "Mr. Red. Welcome back, to the village."

All the birds started cheering and applauding, and Red could not help but feel touched. Maybe being angry and alone wasn't the best way to be after all. Maybe it really was better to have friends and be a part of a community. He looked around at this friends chuck, Bomb and Aggie and realized that that was exactly what they were: his friends. And that felt pretty darn good.

Just then, as the birds moved aside, many hatchlings, including the blue ones, approached Red. The hatchlings are revealed to be from the eggs that Red saved. They all cleared their throat to sing a thankful song to him.

Hatchlings: Mighty Mighty Red

You rescued me.

Defender of our homes and liberty.

Jay: Bravery.

Jake: Humility.

Jim: Ang-ery

Hatchlings: Mighty Mighty Red You Rescued Me Me... lalalalaa laalala lalalalaa Lalalaa

Terence: Lalalalaaaaaaaaa.

After the song, the birds stared at Terence. Matilda didn't mind though as she rested her head on Terence's side. The big bird blushed happily. As they went back to what they were doing, everyone left Red, Chuck, Bomb and Aggie alone

"How did you guys find the time to pull this off?" asked Red in surprise. "This is why we went to go get pedicure, isn't it?"

"Nope. We got pedicures because we are worth it," Chuck raised his leg up.

"I got gels," Bomb did the same.

"I don't get pedicures. Not my type," said Aggie.

"You guys are something else. To be honest with you, I'm going to miss the beach view," Red said as he entered his new house. "But, so what? It's still there. It's just not... right there when I wake up and look out my window."

"Well, you can still look out your window and see me, Bomb and Aggie," Chuck hoped.

"Right," muttered Red. "So you know, pluses and minuses. Okay, see you later," he shut the door in front of his friends

When he turned them down, the three birds were a little hurt that red didn't want to hang out with them a little longer.

"Well, this just got awkward," said Chuck.

"That's really insensitive.," Bomb added. "Want to go get a bite?"

"No thanks," Aggie held her wing in front of her "cousin's" face.

"Forget it, let's just go home," replied Chuck.

Just then, Red opened the door, and laughed, "Guys, I'm just messing with you. Get in here!"

Chuck, Bomb and Aggie's faces turned to smile as they ran back to the house. Red let Chuck and Bomb in, but Aggie stayed outside.

"What's wrong, Aggie?" asked Red.

"You know, Red, after all these experiences for the past month, I think I'm not going back to my home world for a while," Aggie sighed.

"You mean, you're going to stay here?"

"Yeah, it's more fun to be here and being a bird. It's not what I've been expecting when I first got here, but it's really fun."

"I promise that I'll keep your secret, and you're welcome to stay here."

Red and Aggie smiled at each other, realizing how glad that they met and have each other as friends.

Then, Chuck ran back outside, and ruined the moment for the two birds, "Hey, what are you guys doing?"

Red and Aggie shrieked in fear as they faced Chuck and blushed, "Nothing!"

"Ooh, are you talking about your future wedding?" Chuck teased.

"What? No!" Aggie exclaimed. "Are you crazy?!"

"Yeah, Chuck, we're just friends!" added Red.

Chuck just gave them a sly look, "Yeah, that's what I thought. Come on!" He pushed Red and Aggie inside and closed the door.

THE END

Credit Song:

Oh

There's a moment in this journey that I gave up

My boots just couldn't walk another mile

And that cloud above me had no silver lining

I couldn't buy a break with my last dime

Oh but when I saw you standing in the corner

I'd never thought that you would have my back

But then we rolled in like the thunder and the lightning

Threw some punches then we had a laugh

Just some roughed up desperados

Hanging tough through thick and thin

Kicking up dust wherever we go

I can see that you and me are gonna be friends

Who'd thought we'd wind up here together?

It's crazy that we're standing side by side

Fighting just like two birds of a feather

Who's gonna tell us now that we can't fly?

Just some roughed up desperados

Hanging tough through thick and thin

Kicking up dust wherever we go

And I can see that you and me are gonna be friends

To the end you and me are gonna be friends

Yeah

Here we go

Hey, hey you and me

Different as different can be

You like to rock, I like to roll

You take the high, I'll take the low

Woah, woah-oh, woah-oh

Just some roughed up desperadoes

Hanging tough through thick and thin

Kicking up dust wherever we go

I can see that you and me are gonna be friends

To the end you and me are gonna be friends

And I can see that you and me are gonna be friends, yeah
