《The Make-Up Game. | larry stylinson》Pt. 2. It Means Nothing?

I know I have already posted a note in this book about it but I just wanted to say once more about how heart breaking it is about loosing Jay. She was a wonderful woman who gave nothing but positivity to the world and she has been taken from heaven too soon. Whilst watching Louis' tribute to Johanna, on the Xfactor, my heart broke. Seeing him so strong and having to watch him try not to cry, it broke me, but we all know, that there was one beautiful angel watching down on him tonight, and though all of us are proud, Jay was the proudest.

"Harry?" He hears a knock on his bedroom door following his mothers voice. "Honey?"

Harry slowly lowers his laptop screen, "yeah?" He calls back.

The white painted door opens and Anne smiles to her son. "Your dad and I are leaving." She announces. "I just wanted to ask if you needed anything before we go?"

Harry smiles. "No, I'll be okay." He nods as if to confirm his own words.

Anne walks further into the bedroom, her coat folded over her two arms in front of her stomach. "Are you sure? Anything at all? I know we'll only be gone for a couple of days, but I still worry." Harry chuckled, shaking his head.

"Honestly. If I need anything I'll go and get it, I promise. Now," Harry stood from the bed, walking over to his mum and ushering her out of his bedroom. "I want you to go and enjoy yourself. You and dad both deserve a break." Harry followed behind her as she walked down the stairs.

Anne paused at the end, seeing Des standing by the front door with the suitcases before turning to Harry. "Okay, love. But before I do go, I have one thing to ask." Harry suddenly felt worried, he had a feeling this would happen. "Please, tell Louis we said hi." She gave him a warm smile. "We miss him. I heard you talking on the phone yesterday, I know you're seeing him today. I know what you did was a horrible thing, but you're my son and I wish you all the best. I really do, I really hope you can fix this. He's an amazing boy."

Harry gave a sad smile, "you and me both mum. And I know he is, I'm going to do whatever I can, I promise you." Anne nodded, reaching forward she rubbed Harrys arm comfortingly. "I love you."

"I love you too, now we better get going." Anne turned to her husband who nodded agreeingly. "We'll see you in a couple of days okay?" Anne said to Harry as she walked towards and out of the front door.

"Okay." Harry said and laughed as his mum gave him one last kiss before waving and climbing into the waiting taxi. Harry stood in the door way and waved his parents out of the driveway, before going back inside the now empty house and closing the door.

He let out a loud breath, but pushed himself off of the door and walked up the stairs back to his bedroom.

He had a lot of planning to do. Tonight had to be perfect.

It was twelve o'clock when Ashton turned up. "Thank you so much." Harry rushed Ashton inside of the house. "I don't know what I would have done if you couldn't have made it."

Ashton chuckled. "It's okay mate. Now what's up?"

"Everything?" Harry questioned his own answer. "I don't know!" He huffed. "I just can't stop playing all of the possibilities that tonight could end in and it's driving me insane! It could end good, really good, bad or really, really bad. And I don't know what I'll do if it ends bad or even really, really bad!" Harry was rambling. And Ashton could only pay attention to the way Harry was walking back and forth in the small hallway. "I feel like I might puke. I'm going crazy, I can feel it-"

"Harry."

"He just- I don't know if I'm going to be able to-"

"Harry."

"I really hope he turns up. Oh God-"

"Harry!" Harry finally stopped his pacing and froze, his eyes on Ashton. "Look, there's no point in worrying about all of this," Harry showed no change in his panicked emotion. "He's either going to turn up, or he's not. There's nothing you can do about that."

Harry let out a dry laugh. "Wow, thanks, way to make this feel any better."

"No, listen," Ashton walked forward, grabbing ahold of Harrys arms, making sure the two had eye contact when he carried on. "You might not be able to make him turn up, but what you can do, is try your best to make it as amazing as you can for if he does."

Harry took a second before he began nodding. "Yeah, you're right. You're right."

Ashton nodded. "I know," he gave Harry a smug smirk, which he received a light smack to the arm for. "Hey!" Ashton laughed. "Right then, don't we have a date to plan? And only seven hours to do it in?" Harry nodded. "Well we better get on with it then."

Harry nodded again, let out his second deep breath of the day before leading Ashton up the stairs.

-- Harry --

I'll be at the fountain by Kings street park at seven, I really hope to see you there. X H

(Received 13:54)

Louis stared down at his phone for five minutes before he was able to look away from the message. Seven o'clock. That's less than six hours to decide what he wanted to do.

"Lou? Are you okay?" Jade sat her coffee down on the table in front of them.

"Huh?" Louis looked over to his sister, before what she had said clicked in his mind. "Oh yeah, it's just-" he stopped.

"It's what?" She asked, leaning closer to him.

Louis looked down at the lock screen to his phone. "Harry."

Jade scrunched her eyebrows. "What about him?" She asked, confused.

Louis looked back over to her. "He gave me the time when he wants to meet me tonight. And I still- I still don't know what to do." He closed his eyes, thinking. "I was up for hours last night, just staring at the ceiling, thinking about what to do, it should be an easy no. I should just tell him no. After all this pain it should be the easiest let down I could ever give."

"Oh Lou," Jade turned on the sofa, crossing her legs like her brother and wrapping her arms around him tightly.

"I should tell him no and to never speak to me again. But I can't. I'm finding it so hard to even think about not seeing him ever again. To not be able to touch him, to speak to him and to hear his voice. He's still got me, and it hurts so much."

"Sweetie," she rubbed his back. "I know it hurts."

"I should say no." Louis cried. "I should just say no."

Jade pulled away and Louis wiped his eyes. "But have you thought, that maybe you having to give this much thought into it, that maybe it means that you want to go?"

"What?" Louis asked, his time to be confused.

"You spent so long last night and this morning thinking of ways to say no, of excuses to give as a way of trying to push yourself away. I know it hurts and it hurts for me to see you like this, but maybe you should go? Maybe you having to give it this much thought is a way of your heart telling you to go but your mind telling you not." Jade explained.

Louis let out a small sob. "But which do I choose? If my hearts telling me to go and my brains telling me not, how do I know which one is the right thing to go by?"

Jade gave him a small, sad smile. "I don't know, honey, that's all down to you."

---

Harry stood right next to the fountain. In the exact place he had been standing in since seven. Ten minutes had gone and he's beginning to doubt everything. He knew Louis not turning up was huge possibility, but he really had hopped that he would.

"Five more minutes." He whispered to himself. "Just five more." He brought his hands up to his mouth, cupped them and blew hot air across them, an attempt to stop them from shaking- from the cold or nerves he does not know.

He turned his wrist, his eyes just watching the second hand go round. It was when he realised how fast the five minutes went when he wished had had given ten minute more rather than the short five. He closed his eyes and his head dropped.

"I'm sorry I'm late."

Harry didn't look up straight away. He thought he may have been hearing things, until he did finally look up. "Louis." He whispered.

"Yeah.." Louis said, unsure of what else to say.

"You came." Harry stood up straighter. "I can't believe you actually came."

"Neither can I." Louis looked down.

Harry brushed off the comment, he wasn't expecting anything good right away. "But thank you. For coming."

Louis looked up and Harry could see how hard it was for the boy to keep eye contact. "That's okay. But- this means nothing. Me coming tonight, it means nothing."

Harry frowns. "What dyou mean?" Harry looks at Louis who looks back down to the floor again. "You coming tonight means that you're giving me a chance to explain. A chance to talk to you. That's what it means. That might be nothing to you, but that's everything for me." Harry didn't see, but Louis scrunched his eyes shut and felt his heart flutter, just a little bit. "So, thank you. Really." Louis nodded, opening his eyes and looking back up to Harry. "So, let's walk?" Harry turned his body, then looked over he shoulder to make sure Louis would follow.

Harry felt awkward with his hands by his sides, so he stuffed them into his trouser pockets. As he looked down at his shoes, he could see through the corner of his eye, what Louis was wearing.

He looked up to the boy, getting a better look, "you look beautiful, by the way. The purple on your eyes really brings out the blue."

Louis could feel himself start to blush, just like the first date. "Thanks." He whispered, looking back down at the floor.

Harry closed his eyes and breathed before stopping in his step. "Wait." He called to Louis, who didn't stop walking. Louis stopped and turned. "Look," Harry stepped forward, so that he was closer to him. "I know what I did." Louis winces. "But I'm still me. Please don't act like you don't know me. You were never quiet. You were always happy. I've noticed you around college, not wearing makeup or your normal clothes. And it hurts. To think that I'm the one who made that happen. Who tore you away from who you really are because of what I had done. Please Louis, just talk to me. I'm begging."

Louis could hear the genuine pain in his voice. "I do know you Harry- at least I thought I did. The Harry I knew would never keep secrets from me. You know, I keep on thinking about this whole situation, and I think I found out what hurts the most. And it's not you going behind my back. It's not you sleeping with that girl. It was you keeping it from me for as long as you did. That's what hurt the most. How am I supposed to trust you? You were my boyfriend. No matter what it was, you were supposed to tell me everything. And you never. You never told me, I had to find out for my self. That. That is what hurt the most."

Louis was holding back the tears and Harry could tell. "I'm sorry. I'm so so so sorry. I would say it a million times, over and over again for the rest of my life if it could help. Just a little bit. I'm sorry. I did the worst thing possible. I betrayed you. And I will never be able to express how sorry I truly am for that." Louis pressed his lips together tightly. "But please, I beg of you, just trust me for every time I tell you I love you. Louis, that's all I ask. Because it's the truth and it's the one bit of truth that you should never doubt. Because I love you with all of my heart and I don't want you to ever forget that."

Louis broke. He let out a choked sob and he didn't know what else to do but to fall forward into Harry. "This is not my forgiveness." Louis cried. "I can't give you that yet. But if you try, I'll try." He whispered.

Harry cried too. "I will. I'll try the hardest I will ever be able to. I promise you. I promise. I'll start all over again if I have to."

"Okay." Louis pushed back. "How about we start over. You promise you'll try harder than ever and we start over."

"Okay." Harry nodded, letting out a breath and looking up to sky. "Yeah," he looked back I ever to Louis who was wiping the underneaths of his eyes. "I promise." Louis nodded. "Now I have a question." Louis nodded at him to continue. "Are we able to begin starting over tonight?"

A/N: (words 2411. Wow. This is not how I imagined this chapter to go.

I just wanted to make it clear that Louis has not forgiven Harry!! It's more like he's giving Harry the chance to let Louis forgive him?? He wants them to start over before he can decide if he can forgive him.

I just wanted to make that clear because I don't want people to think that Louis is moving too fast. This part of the book has only just begun.

I hope you all enjoyed it all, please comment what you think!! Did you expect this chapter to go the way it did? Or did you expect something different? If so, what was it?

Love you all very much and I shall see you soon.!)
