The whole way home, both Yuji and Donghyuck were grinning and as they reached the door their faces were hurting.
"Welcome ho- oh my God you're holding hands! GUYS OH MY GOD, LOOK!" Jaehyun practically screamed, pulling them both into the house and they immediately let go of each others hands.
"What?" Renjun said, running around the corner.
"Where? What?" He scanned over them to see no hand holding.
"They were just-"
"So what's for dinner." Donghyuck interrupted, walking towards the living room whereas Yuji was taking her shoes off.
Jaehyun's mouth fell agape at the fact his excitement was pushed aside, sighing he walked after Donghyuck and left the twins alone.
" Renjun started, nodding up the stairs to which Yuji nodded and followed him, fiddling her fingers anxiously.
Renjun pushed open the door to Donghyuck's room and shook his head at the dark and messiness. He pulled open the curtains and sat back on the bed.
Yuji sat on the chair at the desk and waited for him to start.
" He started, rubbing his temples.
He sighed, looking down at the floor.
"?" Yuji asked, her eyes trailing over his room properly for the first time.
"
The mention of the sun made Yuji subconsciously look at the sun shaped tattoo on her ankle and laugh at the irony.
Renjun rolled his eyes and tried to stay serious.
"
Yuji's nose scrunched up trying to recall any mentions of her soulmate.
"
Renjun retrieved the packet of cigarettes on his nightstand and threw it to his twin, watching as she looked at the pack on her lap.
Yuji shook her head.
Renjun sighed and looked at the girl.
"
Yuji didn't say anything, she only sat staring at the ground, mulling over the words. The opening of the door caused the twins to look towards the noise.
"Oh, I didn't know you were in here." Donghyuck voiced, lingering at the door.
"I just came to-" yet he stopped once he saw his packet of cigarettes in her lap.
"Uh get my charger."

Sexy Sect Babes
“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.
