"I thought I was going to die you know." He spoke, lightly pushing on the floor with his heels. They had both found a little park and decided to go on the swings together, feeling the wind hitting them as they did so.
"Same." She spoke, feeling the coldness of the metal against her hand.
"You're Renjun's friend, It's such a..."
"Coincidence?" Donghyuck finished for the girl who was struggling for the word. Yuji nodded in gratefulness, sighing as she felt the dull pain in her head and muscles rise. She winced in pain which didn't go unnoticed by Donghyuck, also given the fact he felt it too.
"Yuji? What's wrong?" He asked, getting up off his swing and crouching down in front of the girl. Her face heated up as he peered up at her, feeling embarrassed to ask him for such a thing.
"I just have a headache, I don't feel well." She replied simply, resting her forehead on the ropes.
Donghyuck frowned and bit his bottom lip, debating on what to do.
"Is it the bond, do you want me to-".
"No." She replied rather quickly, getting up off the swing and walking towards the benches, her heart definitely was doing something- curse the soulmate bond.
"I mean...I'm fine it's okay." She corrected herself.
"Oh." His mood was crushed as the feeling of rejection again rose.
He tried not to show it but Yuji knew, and she felt extremely guilty.
She should have been more nice about it but she didn't want it to see like she was using him as some sort of medication.
Sighing, Donghyuck joined Yuji on the bench and watched as the children played.
Yuji looked next to her to see Donghyuck staring in a particular direction. She followed his gaze to where a couple were, messing around and they were undeniably in love.

He wanted that.
Yuji swallowed her nerves and shuffled closer to Donghyuck, not looking at him whilst doing so. Her heart was racing by the time her shoulder brushed against his arm. Everytime they touched sparks would jolt through their bodies, and they'd feel content.
The more physical contact, the stronger their bond is and how close they are.
Yuji turned slightly, her body facing towards him, her head involuntarily falling on his shoulder as her eyes blinked away the sleep.
She yawned and cuddled up to Donghyuck.
A big smile attacked his lips and a blush spread across his cheeks. He wrapped one arm around her back and the other hand was resting on her arm that fell onto his knee.
"If you need healing, it's okay to ask." He muttered.
"Its important because you'll get weaker otherwise."
Yuji nodded in reply, tired to speak.
"Can we go now?" She asked, yawning once more, to which Donghyuck nodded and helped her up.
They began walking, much closer this time and their arms occasionally brushed past each other.
"Sorry if I'm not that affectionate. I just- I don't know."
He nodded at her sentence.
"Soulmates are different Yuji, normal relationships they take time to fully fall for each other, they take more time to develop a bond but we were fated together and since that time we brushed past each other, the bond started,
so it isn't weird to be feeling what you're feeling, because I do too.
I have feelings for you and it will continue to develop the more times we spend together." He concluded, explaining the bond in more detail.
Yuji nodded, absorbing the information.
"So...if I feel like I don't know- holding your hand and doing like couple-y stuff, I'm not delusional?"
Donghyuck chuckled and shook his head.
"Of course not Yuji, I know it will take getting used to but we were meant to be together, and we'll always be together."
He said, lacing his fingers through hers.
"So this." He held up their joined hands.
"Is normal."
