Third Person POV

Unicorn: B-Big sister, w-why are there people in that train?

Illustrious: I don't know...

As the train came to a stop on the station a couple of the soldiers started to get sick. The carts smell of dead bodies and sewage as well as sweat. A women was seen in the cart window as well as a man and a child on the mans shoulder.

Women 1: Water? Does anyone have water?

Man 1: Does anyone have bread?

Child 1: I want to go home...

Women 2: Please, anyone please give us any bread or water.

Man 2: Anything we don't care but please...

The pleads continue and a couple of soldiers started going through their bags and getting out bread which they then started throwing into the cart via the windows or the entrance. Karl got a couple of empty cans and started to get fresh water into them.

Karl: We can throw these up as well.

As the soldiers threw up bread and water cans a man with a cap which has a skull and crossbones on it's front came off the train with 4 other men. He made his way to the Officer who

???: Stop! What are you doing!

Officer: They are giving these poor souls the stuff they need.

???: This is my train, get your men away from it!

Officer: I will not.

The Officer started to make his way to the cart with a small bit of bread when the man stopped him and tore the bread out of his hand.

???: This is unacceptable!

The man then stomped onto the bread and kicked it away from the Officer. He then saw Karl filling up water cans and made his way to him. He stopped next to him and kicked a can over onto Karl's boots. Karl picked up the can and continued to fill the others with water.

???: Stop at once!

Karl ignored him.

???: That is an order! You will stop giving these vermin water!

Karl continued to ignore him and the mans shouting got the attention of a few of the soldiers.

Sheffield: Karl...

Belfast: I have never seen you like this Sheffield.

Bismarck: This isn't good.

Suddenly the man raised his pistol and pulled the trigger.

*Bang*

Karl: Augh!

Karl fell over holding his leg in pain. The man turned around and faced a shocked group of soldiers. Sheffield's eyes was twitching in rage as the other ships couldn't believe what they saw.

???: All soldiers who disobey the Fuhrer orders are to be treated like criminals! You will stop this immediately!

Most of the soldiers ignored him and continued throwing bread and water cans to the people in the train. Karl slowly got back up and began to fill more water cans and slowly stood up to give them to the people in the cart.

???: This is treason!

The soldiers just ignored him again and Karl was about halfway towards the carts. The man was in a fury and in a fit of rage he raised his pistol again.

*Bang*

A sickening thud was hear and Karl's legs begun to create a pool of blood around it. The ships eyes widened as the soldiers turned their heads again with shocked faces. The man walked up to Karl and stuck the pistol next to his head.

???: Those who refuse the order will bring his death, your death, and the deaths of your families!

The soldiers slowly begun to back away from the train in fear but some still sneaked in bread and cans of water before they backed up.

???: Good.

The man than kicked Karl in the stomach before hopping onto the train. He was followed by the rest of the men on board the train and the train left shortly afterwards. As soon as the train was out of sight a man with a bag ran up to Karl and begun to give him first aid.

Karl: Well this freaking hurts.

Officer: Consider yourself lucky, in any other case that man would've blown you head off.

Soldier 1: Well what will happen to him?

Karl: Looks like I am not coming with you guys.

Officer: By the looks of the injury you will have to stay here in France.

Karl: Just peachy.

As the soldiers continue to talk the ships are still trying to process what happened.

Sheffield: I have a certain insect I have to exterminate.

Belfast: Calm down Sheffield.

Enterprise: What now?

The world around them begun to contort and they found themselves in a room of some sorts. Inside the room was a table with a tea set on it and a radio on the nearby shelf. John was at the table with a sort of uniform on and his mother and father where on a coach. They all seem to be on edge.

Unicorn: Why are they so tense?

Takao: I don't know...

Atago: They are just like you sister so times.

Takao: Atago!

Nagato: Now now calm down.

Suddenly a loud ring ripped through the air and John shot up and grabbed a white helmet and a bag off a shelf.

John: You need to get to the shelter.

John's mom: We know sweetheart.

John's dad: Don't do anything stupid.

John: Of course.

All of them ran outside the house and the ships realized that it was everyone who was running. Most went to a a subway station while others who wore John's uniform ran to other places. John made his way to a small bunker that has hoses and a small group of people.

John: Any sight of them?

Man 1: Nope.

Man 2: Hoses ready.

Women: Wait for the signal.

John looked outside for a couple of seconds before ducking back in.

Hornet: What are they waiting for?

Suddenly a roar is heard and a squadron of planes came screaming through the skies.

Man 2: Yeah those are ours!

Women: Pay attention, they should be close.

Suddenly the clouds parted and lights flashed on. The ships where shocked to see a huge formation of planes in the sky all bearing a symbol close to Iron Blood's.

John: Their here!

Women: Brace for impact!

The group huddled down and the ships could see the planes bottom doors open and the bombs began to fall. Soon it was a mass of explosions in both the city and the air as planes are blow out of the sky. Suddenly a loud whistle was heard and the group stood up.

Women: That's the signal!

John and another man grabbed a hose while the women grabbed a bucket and the other man got an axe.

Women: Come on lets move it!

The group made their way to a building that was ablaze and begun to try to put out the fire.

Women: Come on put your backs into it!

The women is seen lifting buckets of water and tossing it onto the building's lower layers while John and one of the men use a hose to get to the upper parts of the building.

Women: Do you see anyone?

Man 2: No, I'll check again.

The man looked through the wreckage and his eyes goes wide.

Man 2: Found one, clear!

The man brought the axe up and smashed through a wooden door and he quickly ran inside. He quickly returned with a little girl in one arm and a boy on his back.

Man 2: Come on I need help here!

John: Corpsman!

A man with a white helmet came and started to treat the children as John and his group continue to battle the flames.

Bismarck: So much fire...

Roon: I find this quite.....nice.

Admiral Hipper: Your a bit crazy.

Roon: What was that?

Admiral Hipper: Nothing!

Hood: This is on purpose, why would they not have a huge formation doing this wasn't on purpose.

Prince of Wales: Civilians are taking the brunt of the force of this war.

Suddenly the fire lept out and attacked John and the man holding the hose with him.

John: Augh!

Man 1: Get it off!

The women quickly got a bucket of water and splashed it on John and the man. The fire hissed and died down.

John: Thanks.

Man 1: Thanks.

Women: No problem, now let's get the rest of this fire under control.

Both John and the man nodded and continued to try to put down the fire.

Queen Elizabeth: They seem very united.

Warspite: It seems so you majesty.

Suddenly the background changed again and this time they saw John again but this time his parents weren't there.

Akagi: Where are his parents?

Kaga: How should we know with this kind of skipping around.

Then a women burst into the room with a panicked look. John was thrown off his composure but he quickly regained it.

John: What is it Jennifer?

Jennifer: Have you heard from Kyle yet!

John: No I haven't why?

Jennifer: It's the Hood John! The Hood is sunk!

Bismarck and Hood looked at each other than at John. John was in a state of shock. Suddenly his mother and father came from one of the other rooms with shocked faces.

John's dad: The....Hood....is....gone?

Jennifer: Yes sir...

Suddenly John rushed to the radio and turned it on. He listened intently and finally a word came crackling out of it.

Announcer: We just got reports that the pride of the Royal Navy HMS Hood is sunk. All but 3 of her 1418 are at their graves.

John's eyes where in tears when the radio announcer called out the 3 names. None of them where Kyle's.

John's mom: No...no....no...no...no.....no..not after this.

John turned off the radio and sat down again next to Jennifer. John's mother begun to cry and Jennifer tries to comfort her with a hug. John finally stood up.

John: I need to go.

Jennifer: Where?

John: No where in particular.

John's dad: Oh no you don't son!

John: What?

John's dad: You are thinking about enlisting!

The ships eyes widened and John began to get agitated.

John: So what!

John's dad: After what happened to Kyle you still want to join the bloody war!

John: The war is already coming to home!

John's dad: What about your mother! You are just going to leave her for the frontlines!

John: I WILL AVENGE MY BROTHER AND COUNTRYMEN FOR WHAT THOSE JERRY BASTARDS DID TO THEM!

John's dad: REVENGE IS NOT GOING TO BRING KYLE BACK! YOU ARE JUST GOING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED!

John: WELL DYING ON A BATTLEFIELD IS BETTER THAN DYING A BLOODY FUCKING SHELTER!

His anger is unseen to the ships. John was always the calm one until he met Bismarck but to see him lash out like this is unreal.

John's dad: YOU ARE NOT GOING TO THAT RECRUITMENT STATION JUST SO YOU CAN THROW YOUR LIFE AWAY!

John: I WANT TO DO MORE THAN JUST STAY AT HOME AND SIT OUT THE WAR! DID YOU SEE WHAT THOSE PEOPLE DID TO CIVILIANS AND THEY KILLED YOUR SON!

John's dad: THAT IS WHAT WAR IS JOHN! NOT EVERYONE COMES BACK! KYLE, HOWARD, MARCUS, THEY ALL KNOW THAT BUT YOU JUST WANT TO GO TO HAVE SOME REVENGE VENDETTA!

John: SO WHAT, I AM THE ONLY ONE SITTING AT HOME. EVEN SARAH IS IN THE SO WHY CAN'T I GO!

John's mom: You are underage son.

John: I turn 17 in a few more months big fucking deal!

John's dad: You are not going to war!

John: Try and stop me!

John stormed out of the room and slammed the door behind him. A few seconds of silence passed until Jennifer and John's mother began to burst into tears. His father hugged his mother and try to comfort her but he was also in tears.

John's father: God....please protect my sons and daughter...

John left the house and the ships quickly followed him. They saw him run past the ruined buildings of his city and the charred bodies of his country men and women. He ran to the recruitment station and stood in line.

Roon: I find this side of him to be slightly intimidating.

Prin Eugen: That's a first.

Yorktown: How awful it is to have an argument like that with your family.

Unicorn: Is his family going to be alright?

Enterprise: I highly doubt it.

Hood: I can't believe my sinking did this.

Warspite: Please mam it's not your fault.

Bismarck: I can't believe he has so much hate built up in him.

Queen Elizabeth: It almost seems like he forgot about Karl.

As if right on que it was John's turn in the recruitment office.

Officer: Name and age.

John: John Walker. 17 years old.

Officer: Ok. You will be sent to the training camp in 2 hours.

John: Understood.

John left the office and the ships soon found themselves sucked into somewhere new.

Bismarck: I can't believe John would do this.

Prince if Wales: He is very over reactive for sure.

Enterprise: Uhm girls.

Hornet: What is it sister?

Enterprise: Where are we?

The ships looked around and saw that they where in a new city.

Ayanami: It's Dimitri's home.

Hood: I think you are right.

Suddenly a door slammed open and a Dimitri came in along with a man in a soldiers uniform.

Dimitri: Well brother welcome home.

???: It's good to be home.

Dimitri: I will go get the house ready for everyone's arrival.

???: Do you know where they are?

Dimirti: Mom and dad are in the government office in Minsk. Natasha is in the clothing factory while Nicoli and Joseph are in the arms factory.

???: I see. Thanks for getting me home.

Dimitri: No problem. Tomorrow is a holiday so my overseer allowed the factory to leave early.

???: How nice of him.

Dimitri: Yes very nice of him. You want a glass Maxim?

Maxim: Yes I would very much.

The 2 sat down and talked a bit however a man burst into the room with a terrified look on his face.

???: Comrades!

Dimitri and Maxim shot up and went to the man.

Dimitri: Calm down Nicoli, what happened?

Nicoli: The Germans are attacking our borders! We are at war!

Dimitri's and Maxim's faces pale.

Maxim: The Germans!? We sighed a treaty!

Nicoli: Forget about the treaty what about our parents!

Dimitri: Blyat! They at Minsk!

Maxim: The defensive line is no where near Minsk!

Dimitri: Where are the others?

Nicoli: We are all thinking about joining the army.

Dimitri: Count me in.

Maxim: Alright let's go. For the motherland!

Dimitri/Nicoli: For the motherland!

The three quickly ran to the recruitment station on the way they met up with a blonde women and another man.

Dimitri: Natasha! Joseph!

Natasha: Brother!

Joseph: Hello comrade.

Nicoli: They both agreed to our plan. We have Maxim's support.

Maxim: Just don't get yourself killed ok?

Natasha: You worry too much old man.

Joseph: Wait where's mom and dad?

Nicoli: They are at Minsk. We hope that they are able to get out of there in time.

Natasha: Well that depends. Now lets go before a line builds up.

Nicoli/Dimitri/Joseph: Urah!

The group ran to the recruitment building but as they did the ships look at them in confusion.

Atago: They seem to be excited for war.

Enterprise: I have a bad feeling about this.

The ships continue to follow the group as they entered the building labeled in Russian "Red Army Recruitment Center". Inside the building an officer was at a table however the family where the only ones inside the building.

Officer: Well hello comrades, what can I do for you?

Maxim: My brothers and sister would like to join the motherlands armies.

The officer looked surprised but he smiled.

Officer: Well than, young comrades you have earned yourself a spot in the motherlands forces. You will be given your new stations tomorrow.

Nicoli: Thank you sir.

Dimitri: We will not be late.
