[Y/N] groaned in pain, but picking herself up from where she believed she had fallen from.
She looked up to see a bunch of people in cloaks with their faces hidden...
[Y/N] then became aware of the four people beside her.
!
"Brave hero's, won't you please save our world from pure evil!" A man spoke out.
"What?" Everyone questioned at once.
[Y/N] the realized that there is something she had clutch to. And expecting her phone to be there, she was shocked to see...
'A...A gun?!'
"Please oh brave hero... Our world is in dire need of saving..." the man in the middle of the strange group spoke out, making [Y/N's] attention switch.
"What do you mean it's in need of saving?" The short dirty blonde spoke.
"The story behind it all is long and complicated... but you are the..cardinal hero's, and you were summoned here using a ancient ritual..."
'Four... but there are...'
[Y/N] would count the people with the cardinal weapons in their hands.
'Am I an extra?'
"Please lend us your aid!" The pleading man spoke out.
"I guess I could at least hear you guys out-"
"Forget it."
"I also refuse."
"You can also send us back to our home world, right? Maybe do that and we can talk."
They went off on the poor cloaked man.
But something still went in [Y/N's] mind...
'This definitely had to do with the app...'
Everyone began to walk out, so [Y/N] followed with them dumbfounded.
~
Everyone had then moved to a big hall, and there stood a man sitting on a throne....
As they all walked closer to the man in the throne, [Y/N] saw the people above and below watching them all...

Everyone stopped, just a few ways from the... king?
"So... you young men are the four cardinal hero's of ancient legend..."
'Huh?'
"This is the land of Melromark, and I am the king..."
"Please identify yourself." the king spoke alas.
The blue haired guy spoke up first, holding their sword out onto the palm of their hand.
"Ren Amaki. I'm a high school student, and I'm sixteen years old."
The tall blonde with a ponytail then spoke up after Ren. Holding his spear on his shoulder.
"I'm Motoyasu Kitamura. College student, 21."
[Y/N], being next to Motoyasu, decided it would be best she started her introduction.
"I'm [Y/N]. Sixteen year old high school student."
The king glared onto [Y/N], with a confused face.
"I suppose I'm up next. Itsuki Kawasumi. Still in high school, and I'm seventeen." The small green dirty blonde said after [Y/N].
The black haired guy wearing green then spoke.
"I guess that leaves me! My name is-"
"Cool." The king spoke straight forward, interrupting the unnamed male.
"Huh, yo king!"
Everyone in the whole rooms attention had switched to the one un-named "hero".
"You can't just say 'Yo king', you gotta address him with a little respect!" Itsuki scolded.
Everyone had started to stare at the un-named hero... And in [Y/N]'s mind, he seemed so careless and rude...
"King is fine..." The king spoke.
"Alright, whatever you prefer," He began. "I'm Naofumi Iwatani. College student, 20 years old."
The king had nodded, but then turned to [Y/N].
"Who are you?" He asked her boldly.
"You have a gun?" Motoyasu asked.
"Yes, I had it when I had come here." [Y/N] replied.
"What is a gun?" The king asked.
Everyone had gone silent.

"From our world, this weapon is commonly used among us people to fight with." [Y/N] said.
"And you came with the four cardinal heroes?" The king seemed shocked as [Y/N] nodded.
Whispers could be heard from the people surrounding them, making [Y/N] shake up a bit.
"This is new for everyone, but we shall treat you like we do with all our heroes."
"Now then," the King continued "I suppose I have to explain why we have brought you here."
He explained how their world is being attacked by an old apocalyptic force. And which happen at a certain time and are called waves.
If the waves aren't stopped, then the whole world will meet its end...
Every country had contained an ancient hourglass, which predict when a wave is about to start.
Each wave gets stronger and stronger, and the knights from the last wave almost couldn't finish off, and the second wave coming in about a month.
"With that, we followed the legend and summoned you... five. But now, we have no time too lose!"
'This is really starting to remind me of that story I read on an app.'
"Okay, I think we get the jest of it. You didn't think that you'd bring us here to save you for free." Ren spoke out coldly.
A man wearing a purple coat then coughed and replied.
"Of course not. Once you repel all the waves, I assure you we shall reward you most handsomly."
"Yeah? Well it seems we have no choice but to take you at your word."
"As long as you don't go against us, we'll work with you. But don't think you can tame us."
"Exactly, we won't put up with you looking down on us.
"..."
"R-right! What these guys said!"
Boy was this going to be a long journey...
