《WANDS AND SPELLS | VKOOK ✓》06 | the perfect deal

"Now do you want me to get on my knees? Would that make you stop?" Jeongguk said, clicking his tongue at the other who let out a bitter chuckle, "Try and find out, Jeon Jeongguk."
"Please." Jeongguk through gritted teeth requested, glaring at the other who laughed, nonchalantly "Please, Jeon. That ain't helping at all."
"Listen Jeon― this is a life time opportunity. Will I get this again? No." he again laughed and that was infuriating the hell out of Jeongguk but he does something and Taehyung won't even listen to him so he didn't.
Taehyung's smirk went wider seeing the other's hand turning into fists and took a step closer only to rub the back of his palm against the other's cheek on that milky smooth skin "Feeling shit for not able to punch me?"
"You know it." Jeongguk tightly grabbed his hand on his cheek and yanked it away, "Kim, don't tell it to anyone and I will do whatever you want me to."
"Wait did I hear it right?" Taehyung asked, raising his brows and Jeongguk let out the longest sigh possible at the moment, "Yeah."
"The deal is I do what you say and you keep it a secret."
"Damn you, that's a better option. Fine won't tell anyone as long as you're doing what I say," the brunet agreed and smiled oh so sweetly, just like an angel and started started walking to the opposite direction leaving Jeongguk behind, all confused.
"Wait, Kim―"
Jeongguk was running after him to catch up and when he did, fixed his pace and matched it with the other, "What do you want me to do?"
"For now, don't cheat. Tomorrow we got a test. Give it with the merit you have, not by using magic," Taehyung said looking over his shoulder and the blond knitted his brows, "But I―"
"Now go study. Bye." Taehyung said and grabbed his wand from his jean pocket and cast the spell when he saw a door there that belonged to an abandoned room.
"Ica Apiskey."
With that the small sparkles were seen and Taehyung opened the door that lead to his desired place that was his dorm. Jeongguk sucked at this spell and seeing the older (yes, Taehyung was older by a few months) doing that made him feel jealous and annoyed.

Jeongguk could practically see Jimin laying on his bed, now totally baffled because of this but it was just for a moment because the next moment, he just went back to reading his comic book because it wasn't something special. His bestie did this almost all the time to cut the distance shorter.
"Go study if you want nice grades." Taehyung got in and smiled once again before he closed the door with a loud bang. The sound echoed in the empty hallway but what struck more was the feeling of helplessness in him.
He blinked a couple of times and finally let all the anger out as he kicked the door.
"What were you doing with that whore?" Jimin asked keeping the comic aside and sat up, his arms crossed over his chest.
Taehyung just kept on smiling and flung his backpack and wand on the bed.
"Ahah, Jimin I am so fucking happy today," Taehyung then threw himself beside Jimin on his bed that made the other smile, "Okay I am happy that you're happy but what's the reason?"
"So basically," Taehyung started and was grinning nonstop, "Finally got a way to teach this motherfucker a lesson. Jeon Jeongguk is gonna be so dead."
"I am confused as hell," the shorter male pulled that backpack and wand away from Taehyung and kept it on the side for the sole purpose of moving closer and whispering, "What's the tea, you slag. Tell me. Kill the suspense."
"We had this perfect deal that he will do whatever I say if we keep that magic-not-working thing a secret," Taehyung informed, "You know his father said that he will suspend him if this gets out."
"Damn blackmail. This is illegal but that shit deserves this, Lord!" Jimin said and asked the other to explain things in detail.

The exam hall was quiet as usual with the nervous students looking here and there for help while the brilliant ones smiling as they wrote. Jeon Jeongguk even though he couldn't use magic today for safety brought his wand inside his sleeves― just in case.

Seeing the question paper, the blond just took a moment to remember whatever he studied yesterday. Yes, Jeongguk finally touched his books overlooking his overconfidence because this time there might not be any way out.
He understood cramming the night before exam even though it was a short exam on just the spells because he mixed it all up.
Everything was messed up in his brain and nothing seemed right. He looked over at Taehyung who was some rows away from him and thought this is the time. He slowly pulled out his wand and before he could do anything, he decided to check the other again and this time.
He saw him, he caught him doing that.
The older just stared at him with widened eyes and Jeongguk just gulped pushing that wand back in his sleeve. He threw that stupid smile which was full of nervousness and regrets at the older who now smiled back and returned to writing his own paper.
What Jeongguk realized that moment was that Kim Taehyung's smile was beautiful. The way, it formed a boxy shape, the way his eyes crinkled on the sides a bit, the way his little nose looked cute― he never noticed. Maybe because he never saw him smile at him like this before. He looked celestial.
Taehyung again took a look at him and that too with that same smile adorning his lips that couldn't help bringing a smile back from Jeongguk.
Jeongguk shook his head at the act and grinning at nothing in particular looked down at his answer script. He reached out for his pen and once he got it, he began writing whatever he remembered.
The exam was only for like twenty five minutes and it was over before Jeongguk wanted it to.
"Professor, just a minute. I only have like two questions left―" the blond requested, in no way letting the professor take the answer script from him.
"Mr. Jeon. Time's up." he reminded, holding on the paper in which Jeongguk was writing on. In these last minutes, his brain decided to work faster than ever and he so remembered a lot of answers now.
Handwriting going feral, the boy kept in scribbling words and finally dropped the pen on the desk the moment he finished writing. All the students already submitted their ones and finally the professor got the last paper.
"Professor Riddle, I will surely tell my father about how heavenly your teaching style is." Jeongguk said with that fake wise smile that made the older man happy as everyone could see how he was grinning.
"Mr. Jeon, is there something you want to fix in the paper? I can give you one more minute because you know how brilliant you are." he shamelessly said that made every single one in the hall thinking how much of a corrupted mind their professor owned.
Expected, as always.
"No no, I am done writing."
Jeongguk got out of the examination hall and saw Taehyung waiting at his locker with a frown upon his face and Jimin beside biting his nails, "Oh hey, Kim."
"What the fuck were you doing there? You can't actually do anything without using the advantage of the fact that you are the mage's plus the headmaster's son, huh?" Taehyung asked, annoyed to his core, "Can you?"
"Hey no, I just had like two questions left. I didn't cheat." Jeongguk said pouting that caused the other to scrunch his nose up in disgust even though it was cute.
"You're unbelievable." Taehyung mumbled in disbelief and huffed in anger, "You know what leave it. I ain't telling anyone anything and don't even want you to do anything. Go to hell."
"Oh wow, thanks Kim. I owe you big time then." Jeongguk was so relieved to hear that and smiled before pushing Taehyung and Jimin to both sides as he marched forward to his locker.
"People will get to know it anyway so, it ain't my job."

Genesis
Taryn is a mutant in a world where mutants are considered no more than monsters in human skin. The descendants of the gods rule as mortal Kings and the entire world waits for their fates to be decided in the prophesied battle between the Last Lothor King and the mutants’ Dark Prince. Revenant
Everyone dies. Not everyone gets back up again afterward. The Deep Paths are a cursed place, meant for those similarly cursed souls whom the gods themselves denied the sweet release of death. Revenants haunt the underworld, wielding forbidden powers and often consuming those who lack the strength to join them. At least, that's the story that parents teach their kids up on the surface. Reshid can't remember what he might have done to deserve such a fate, but he learns quickly that there is more to undeath than the gods and their faithful preach to the living. Revenants have a unique connection to essential magics that allows them to develop their powers in extremely diverse ways. Wherever there is power, though, there are those seeking to wield it, whether they be governments and gods from above, or mythical elder races from below.
