《Stuck With Him: Kai Parker》9

"Damon, Damon, she's waking up!" I heard Bonnie call. My eyes slowly opened and I groaned, holding my head. Bonnie was sitting next to me, while I laid on the sofa.
"What happened?" I croaked out, looking around. Damon appeared, with a glass of bourbon in his hand, fully healed.
"After I knocked out the annoy little weasel, I went back to you and found you also laying on the floor unconscious." Damon explained, sipping his glass. "What happened Riley?"
"My period." I lied, touching my head that was healed.
"You hit your head on the way down." Bonnie told me. "Damon healed you with his blood."
I nodded and Damon frowned. "I blame that weasel."
"Weasel?" I repeated, looking around I saw Kai tied to a chair still unconscious.
"Him." Bonnie said, pointing at Kai. I nodded, slowly sitting myself up. My head was spinning but I ignored it. "Riley what did you want to tell me?"
I stared at her, blinking to let my eyes adjust. "What?"
Damon also seemed interested and sat down on a chair next to us. "Remember, while we walked to Damon you told me there's something you wanted to tell me."
"I don't remember." I lied, fiddling with my fingers.
I sighed in relief when Bonnie nodded and spoke with Damon. I bit my lip, nervous about what was going to happen once Kai woke up.
"Oh God, it's awake." Damon complained, cocking his head over at Kai, who was grumbling and his head was slowly tilting up.
Bonnie sighed, her and Damon stood in front of Kai waiting for him to fully awaken. I stayed behind and watched.
"Yo, crazy dude wake up." Damon yelled, poking him with a thing from the fire place.
Kai groaned, slowly lifting his head. He muttered something to himself in confusion since he was tied to a chair.
"This is a bit much don't you think Damon?" He grinned, keeping his gaze on me. I just shook my head at him. "You don't have to do that." He added as Damon pocked his shoulder.
"I think its just fine since the fact you tried to kill me." Damon replied.
I couldn't help but grin whilst I watched the show in front of me. "Come on, Damon that didn't mean anything just some harmless fun." Kai replied, putting his eyes back on me.
Bonnie noticed and followed his gaze to me. "Can you please stop eye raping my friend?" She snapped, I blushed a little and Kai rolled his eyes.
"Gross." Damon cringed.
I covered my cheeks with my hands. "Oh my God."
"Can you untie me please?" Kai asked, struggling in the seat.
Damon raised his eyebrows and fake laughed. "Why would we do that?"
"Because we're on the same team." Kai chuckled.
"Really?" Bonnie asked, raising a brow. "Do you always try and kill your teammates?"
"The important thing is that you have your magic back. It worked, you didn't really think I'd kill Damon did you?" He laughed. "In what universe does that make sense? I knew Bonnie would show up."
"So you did all that just to make sure I'd have my magic?" Bonnie asked beyond confused.
"Of course, because your magic is the key to getting the hell out of here." Kai told them, they were taken back by his comment and glanced at each other.
Bonnie looked back at Kai. "Then tell us."

Kai shook his head. "Nope." He said, popping the 'p'.
Damon looked pissed, digging the stake in his hand deep in Kai's shoulder. "Tell us or I'll have to torture you into telling us."
"If you torture me I'll get mad and if I'm mad I won't want to help you. What kind of person needs that explained to them?" Kai replied, tilting his head as he smirked.
Bonnie sighed, whispering something to Damon, who cursed before he untied Kai's ropes. "Don't make me regret this now." He muttered.
Kai grinned rubbing his wrists as he stood up and sat next to me. "Hey Riley." He said, moving himself closer to me.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Damon said, Kai looked over. "Sit there." Damon pointed at a chair far from me. I laughed. Damon was acting over protective.
"Alright." Kai quickly kissed my cheek before sitting in the seat. He winked while I blushed for a split second. Bonnie raised her eyebrows while Damon glared at Kai, but said nothing.
"So how can we get out here?" Bonnie asked, sitting down next to me. Damon remained standing as he watched Kai.
Kai leaned in, staring at me while he answered. "To get out of here we will harness the power of the eclipse using a mystical relic. Its called an Ascendant."
Bonnie nodded. "An ascendant I've heard of it from my Grams." She paused. "Where do we find it?"
"No idea." Kai shrugged, biting his bottom lip. "Which is why I need you Bon-bon to do a locator spell."
"Don't call her my nickname." Damon spat, crossing his arms over his chest. Kai rolled his eyes to respond.
Bonnie stood up. "Riley come help me." She said, I nodded placing down my drink before standing up. "Try not to kill him." She said to Damon.
"No promises." He replied, giving her a fake smile. Bonnie sighed walking away and I rolled my eyes following her.
"So the new guy likes you." She started when we far enough.
I scoffed, shaking my head. "No he doesn't and he's crazy remember."
Bonnie hummed. "Good point but I just need something interesting to happen." She told me and I nodded in understanding. "And he did kiss you." She reminded, I rolled my eyes but my cheeks became redder.
"Please shut up." I whined and Bonnie laughed in response.

"So Ri, how are you?" Kai asked, we sat on the sofa while Damon and Bonnie's sorted up the equipment for the spell.
I shrugged. "Alright."
He leaned into my ear. "Did you miss me?"
I rolled my eyes. "Not really, Malachai." I replied, we were playing a bunch of hand games. "And I saw you earlier."
"I know." He smirked, leaning in and kissing my lips. I blushed, stopping in my movements.
"Don't act so surprised, Ri." He grinned, biting his lip. "You kissed me this morning."
"True." I said. "What happened to the cramps? They're gone for me anyway."
Kai shrugged. "Damon's blood." He suggested and I nodded. "Also thanks for the gash on my head."
"Well thanks for getting me knocked out." I shot back. Kai laughed. "Why'd you kiss me?" I couldn't stop myself from asking.
Kai shrugged. "Because you're pretty, Ri." I just gave him a look and he winked.
"Sorry to ruin your playtime but the grown ups need Kai for something." Damon said sarcastically.

We both frowned and stopped before walking over to the table where everything was set up.
"Alright let's do this." Kai grinned, rubbing his hands together as he sat opposite Bonnie.
Bonnie rolled her eyes. "Shut up, Kai."
She took Kai's hand and sliced his palm, his face showed no pain and I felt it as a long cut appeared.
I swore under my breath and went to the sink, washing it before applying tissue. Damon came over to me. "What happened to your hand?"
"Just cut it on my glass." I lied. "No I don't want you blood."
Damon chuckled. "Who said I was going to give you some?" I scoffed.
"So we just sit here and watch?" I whispered to Damon. I hopped on the counter behind me and Damon leaned against the one next to me.
"I guess so." He replied, I nodded. "And what's with you and Kai?"
"What do you mean?" I glanced at him. Damon rolled his eyes.
"He keeps staring at you and kissing you every chance he gets. Its like he loves you."
I thought.
"He doesn't love me, he's just annoying and probably crazy horny."
Damon nodded. "Aren't we all." I laughed and he grinned before we turned our attention back to Kai and Bonnie.
"So how does this spell even work?"
"Someone puts their blood on the map and during some witchy spell the blood moves to wherever the object is." He explained, looking at me.
I nodded. "Alright, thanks."
"No problem, now let's just hope your boyfriend can get us out of here." Damon said crossing his arms over his chest.
"He's not my boyfriend!" I hissed, he smiled devilishly.
"Whatever you say Riley." I scoffed, blushing a little while Damon grinned.
Before I got the chance to respond, Bonnie spoke. "It's in the house." Damon and I looked at her.
Hopping off the counter I walked over to her so did Damon. "What do you mean it's in the house?"
"Look, Damon." She pointed down at the map and the location was the house. "Its in here."
I glanced to Kai, who smirked shrugging as he did so I noticed an outline of something on his chest. I stared at him, raising a brow.
"Wait a minute...." I muttered, leaning in and pressing my hand on his chest.
"At least buy me dinner first, Ri." Kai mumbled, with a chuckle.
"Shut up." I felt around and took out some weird shaped thing from his chest pocket. "Is this, by any chance, it?"
Bonnie nodded, taking it from me and examined it, Damon looked over her shoulder at it.
He seemed confused. "So this compass jigsaw looking thingy is supposed to magically transport us home?"
I couldn't help but snort out in laughter at him. However regretting it when everyone stared at me. "What? That was funny." I argued.
Damon winked and Bonnie shook her head. Kai rolled his eyes. "We need the magic that we can harness from the eclipse." Kai said.
He stood up and left the house. We all were puzzled but followed. "It's such a nice day isn't it, I remember playing with my brothers and sisters in the sun one day."
I shuddered, remembering what he had done to them. "Anyway...." He took the ascendant from Bonnie and angled it to the sun.
"Why didn't you just tell us you had it?" I wondered, watching him.
"I wanted to feel your hand on my chest, Ri." He replied, winking at me. I rolled my eyes and turned around, hearing him laugh behind me. I went over to Bonnie and Damon, who were staring at us.
"There's something not right about him." Bonnie stated, nodding at Kai who was too busy to hear.
Damon rolled his eyes. "You're just jealous of Riley." He said. "Because he likes her."
I raised my eyebrows as Bonnie scoffed. "I'd rather be the anchor again then like that freak." She spat.
"That's harsh Bonnie." Kai said, walking ahead as he carried on toying with the ascendant.
Bonnie rolled her eyes, fixing her shoelace when she noticed a newspaper on the ground. She picked it up, reading as she flickered through the pages.
Gulping, I inhaled a sharp breath. "Riley." I glanced over at Bonnie, who waved me over to her.
Damon came in close also, holding one end of the paper. "Remember Kai saying about him having brothers and sister?"
"Yeah." Damon answered.
"Well check this out, 'Family massacred in Portland'." She read, Damon raised his eyebrows and I nodded, seeming shocked as well. "The only one missing was oldest, a twenty two year old named Malachai."
"Hey who names a kid Malachai?" Kai wondered. Damon and Bonnie stopped discussing and looked up at him. Kai turned around so he was facing us. "It's like they expected me to be evil."
"You just killed your whole family?" Bonnie asked, Kai turned back around angling the ascendant.
"Coven to be precise." He looked back, over his shoulder. "You know a family of witches?"
Damon pointed at him. "So you're a witch?"
Kai shrugged. "Well yeah, no powers obviously." He paused. "Oh and the Gemini coven did not take it well when they heard about what I did in Portland, which is why they banished me here."
Damon's eyes widened. "So this is-"
"Yep this isn't your hell Damon, its mine." Kai interrupted with a smirk.

"Let's just steal the ascendant from him and leave, its not like he's got any powers." Damon suggested, holding a bottle of bourbon.
Bonnie and I sat at the island in the kitchen. Bonnie and Damon were discussing what to do since Kai was a psycho (but a cute one) after all. And because I wasn't much help, so I just read my book.
"It's actually not that simple." Kai's voice made me jump and I dropped my book on the floor. I huffed and went to pick it up. Bonnie seemed nervous whereas Damon looked annoyed.
"You see I have a killer effect on magic, I can't generate it myself but I can." He paused and grabbed Bonnie's wrist tight. "Consume it from others."
Bonnie cried out in pain but before Damon got the chance to help her, Kai set the cooker on fire and raised his hand making Damon fall to his knees holding his head.
I gasped, rushing over to Kai and held his sleeve. "Kai!" I yelled, catching his attention he looked at me. "Stop." I added, quieter.
Something flashed his face but he made it go in seconds. Yet he dropped Bonnie's wrist and the flames went out. Damon stood up. "You little magic weasel." Damon snarled, vamp speeding at Kai and bashing him against the wall.
I held my back in pain while I helped Bonnie up to her feet. She thanked me and sat back on her chair. "Damon let him go." I said, mainly because it was hurting me too.
"Why shouldn't I just kill the little weasel now?"
My eyes widened. "Don't!" I shouted, for two reasons: I would also died and I liked Kai. "He's our only chance of going back."
Damon sighed, dropping Kai back down before checking on Bonnie. I went over to Kai and helped him before punching his arm. "What was that for?" I asked, rubbing my arm because I also felt the pain.
He didn't answer and walked over to Bonnie and Damon. "If we all work together." Kai began. "We can all go home as friends."
"Or I can devour her magic, kill you all and go home alone." He added, looking at all of us. My eyes widened, speechless as Damon glared and Bonnie looked at him with fear in her eyes.
Kai grinned, resting his head in his hands. He did his famous head tilt. "So what's it going to be? Friends?"
