Axel's POV

I don't know if it's been 3 hours or maybe 15 minutes since she passed out but it felt much longer

She layed there on the bed, in my room, her eyes closed

I was started to get worried all over again, my head running with the words 'what if'

"bryce" she breathed out catching everyone's attention including mine

I would've kicked them all out but they are her friends and they are worried

Savannah stood up and took a seat next to her on the bed "Bryce is with Val and the babysitter" she placed a hand on her arm "how are you feeling?"

"I want to see Bryce" Mel said

"he's in the room next to us mel" Lucas said "he's not going anywhere"

"what if she takes him? what if she does something to him" Mel said as the tears started to fall freely

I felt my heart shattering when her tears fell

"I'll go sit with him okay? You need to calm down or you'll be scaring him more" Theo said as She nodded slowly before hugging her legs to her chest and placing her head on her knees

she didn't deserve this

she was happy, why did this happen?

I stood from my seat and walked over to her before wrapping my arms around her and pulling her to my chest

"what is he doing here" she gave in and cried on my chest letting it all out "when did she get out?"

"I don't know but" I cupped her cheek "it'll be alright baby, everything will"

"I..I thought I'll never see her again Axel.... why is she here now! I don't want to see her"

"shhh baby," i tried to calm her down, running my hands around her back then tightening my grip around her

"We are here for you Mel" Marcus said

"Where is she?" Mel asked

"with Antonio" Isabelle answered

Theo entered the room before scratching his back "I think you should talk to your brother"

"Where is he? Is she with him?" Mel asked suddenly feeling panicked

"no no no! She is not with him, she's not going to take a single step next to him" Theo said

"Mel you're not seeing Bryce until you calm down" I said

"I'm seeing him" she pulled out from my grip

"No you're not! The only thing you'll do is scare him. Look at you, you're panicking, you think that'll help Bryce?" I asked

"but what if she fucking takes him??" She yelled

"She's not taking him Amelia! She will not, Bryce needs you to be strong now. Get yourself together and then you'll see Bryce" I said

"Axel" Marcus shook his head slowly

yes I know I was being an asshole but Bryce isn't a 3 year old kid, he's much older and he understands what is going through

"You don't get to control me Axel" she said angrily "Who the fuck do you think you are"

I knew she'd be regretting this later but I knew that her emotions are all mixed up right now

"I'm not, I just know that what your doing now will scare your brother" I said

"calm down Amelia" Theo said "and you, out"

"You're a fucking jerk Axel! You think you can control me?! I'm not one of your games!" She yelled

The place fell into an uncomfortable silence, everyone just looking at each other

not before I was pulled out from the room by Theo "What the fuck are you doing?", he scolded

"Did I say anything wrong over there?" I crossed my arms and I heard Theo sigh

"you're right but if you were a bit nicer it would've been nice" Theo said

"Nicer? I want the best for her brother and she think I'm just controlling her? Do you how much it was hard to make that kid stop crying? he was scared, shaking between mom's arms as we tried to stop him. he saw his abusive mother enter and his sister passing out?" I said

"you're right" Theo said as he followed me into Valeries room

Bryce sat on the corner of the room holding a teddy bear in his hand as he hugged it to his chest as the babysitter tried comforting him

Bryce flinched as soon as he saw the door room open

"buddy, it's me" I said softly before Bryce stood from his place and walked over to me

I kneeled down and patted him back slowly

"Axe axe axe" Valerie yelled

"Why does she get to say your name and not mine?" Bryce asked

I laughed before taking Val into my hands, "because I'm her brother?"

"Val say Bryce, b..ry..ce"

"Byce" she said making us three laugh

"No it's Bryce" Theo said

"Byce Byce!" Valeria yelled his name

"at least she tried" I shrugged as Theo took her

"is Mel okay?" he asked

I nodded "she is, nothing will happen to both of you"

"Promise" Bryce asked

"I promise you" I said connecting our pinkies Together as the room door opened and Mel entered,

she looked better but not much better

but she got herself together, at least she did what I said

she didn't look at me, her only focus was on Bryce

"Mel!" Bryce ran to her wrapping his arms around her waist

"Hey baby" she said hugging him, I saw her tightening the grip around him as if he'll be gone the second she lets go "are you okay?"

"Yeah, Axel promised me that nothing will happen and I trust him" Bryce said, I smiled

she looked up before her eyes met mine, I read them easily

she was grateful but behind them there was fear, anger and more

anger towards me

she looked down almost immediately and her face went hard

"I'll leave you alone" I said "later buddy"

"Yeah me too" Theo said following me with Val in his hands

"I'll be with dad, Mel can't talk to her right now, she's not okay" I said

"she'll be back" Theo said

"she will, but not until Mel talk to her" I said "and if she didn't stop then dad will figure out everything with the police but until now mel needs to rest. She'll talk to her anytime later"

Theo nodded before I entered dad's office

"Kid how are you?" Her mother said as soon as she saw me

If nothing happened, I would've loved you but not now, and not ever

I looked at her with only hate

I hated the fact that she abused Mel and Bryce

I hated that they both didn't have the childhood they deserve

I hated everything about her

she was the reason of everything

"dad, amelia can't talk right now, just send her" I said

"What? That little slut" her mother growled

"JESSICA!" Dad yelled angrily

"Don't you dare to call her that, you abusive piece of shit!" I yelled as dad's eyes widened "you won't touch any one of them, not until I'm dead! You fucking messed up their lives and now you're back? They don't want you in their lives. They are much happier now! And Just to let you know If you enter one more time this house or even get close to them. Police will deal with you so right now just fuck off from our house" I said

"You son of a bitch" Jessica yelled but I ignored her and got out of the room letting dad complete everything

"that was so inappropriate but I'm proud of you" I found mom standing by the office with Savannah and Isabelle with her

"Thank you" Savannah smiled gratefully

"It's nothing" I gave her a smile before

"come on" Theo patted my back

I took a seat next to Lucas as a sigh escaped my lips

I was exhausted, I couldn't get much sleep yesterday

"morning" I said

"you mean afternoon?" Lucas said making Theo chuckle as I rolled my eyes

"didn't have much sleep" I said

"have you talked to her?" Theo asked as I shook my head

"did she talk to you?" Lucas said

I shook my head again,

I stayed over at Lucas's because I knew Amelia didn't want to see me around, although it's my house but I decided to give her some space.

maybe till she figures out how bad the things she said yesterday.

"you both need to talk, apologize" Lucas said

"What I'm supposed to say, hey Amelia sorry for caring about you and wanting the best for Bryce?" I said

"but your ego aside bro, she needs you" Theo said

"She thinks I'm playing her... yes, I don't have a clear page of girls I hooked up with. I was a player but she knew that I stopped when she moved here. It sucks, it really sucks"

"She didn't mean that, you know it, she was hurt and mad" Lucas said

"okay fine ill talk to her" I said as they both grinned

"Let's go!" Theo said

"Now?"

"Yes now!" Theo said

"No I'll go later"

"Shut the fuck up bro! We going now!" Luke said as he and Theo pulled me to the car

Theo drove, I took the passenger seat and Luke in the back

My phone rang, I checked hoping it could be Amelia but no, who other than Marcus

"yes bro?"

"hey bro" Marcus said "do you think you could come to your house?"

"why are you even asking him nicely?! fucking come now axel Russo!" Savannah yelled through the phone back me pull the phone from my ear

"stop yelling woman!" I said making Theo and Lucas laugh

"Please axel come! She is acting like a kid! She locked up herself in the room since last night and now I can't find the spare keys! Me and your mom searched but it's nowhere! I called your dad but your mom says he's in Dubai right now, he'll be back tonight and I'm not letting her stay in there any more!" Savannah ranted

"Take a deep breath babe, a deep breath" Theo said

"I just hate it here, she's not opening the door. We even brought Bryce but she's a stubborn!" Savannah sighed "will you come?"

"no" I said

"axel please" Savannah begged "is it that okay with you to see her like this? she didn't even eat, the last thing was the cake you gave yesterday"

"axel, come on dude" Marcus said

"sorry I can't" I lied as Lucas nudged me

"fuck you axel" Savannah said as she hung up

"You know we're going there right now" Theo said

"I know" I said

"Then why a-" Theo stopped when his phone started to buzz with many notifications, he laughed "my girlfriend is now mad, saying his big of an asshole you are"

"Ouch tell her I said thank you" I said
