"is this okay?" Renee asked

"yeah I guess, should I light it up?" I asked

"I'll do it" i heard axel said from the kitchen door before he wrapped his arms around me from behind

I looked back and I saw the grin on his face when his eyes met mine

"you look beautiful" he whispered, I blushed before pulling away to look at him

it was Valeries birthday, we invited her friends from the nursery and their parents were also here.

Axel wore a white long-sleeved shirt with some brown khaki shorts and he looked hot as hell

Valerie tried blowing but failed making us all laugh

I felt a hand wrap around me and I knew it was axel from his scent, I looked up to him and saw him smiling while looking at Antonio

"He sees you both as a family" axel said as he pressed on my arm before going to stand by his family

he started taking couple of pictures of them

"come here let's cut the cake children!" Clara, Renee's friend which also is Isabelle's mother said

"you'll have to wait till later, go play now and then later you could give it to her" I said as he nodded before he ran to eat cake

"Lets go there" Savannah said as she pulled us to the living room

"any program for today? I'm feeling like going for some food" Isabelle said

"I think you still haven't seen the food on the table" Theo said

"but I want McDonald's!" Isabelle said

"I'll get you some later babe" Marcus said as she grinned

axel got into the room holding a tray of cake "here you go" he gave each one of us a plate

"thanks" I blowed him a kiss as he took a seat next to me and immediately placed me leg on his lap before placing a hand in them

something that he's been doing a lot the past days and I find it really cute

I took a bite from the cake before taking a small slice and bringing the fork to his mouth

he shook his head

"come on" I gave him a look

"I'm not hungry bubbs" he said

"a bite! I didn't see you eat anything since the morning" I said

"okay fine" he opened his mouth as I fed him

"good boy" I patted his head jokingly as he rolled his eyes with a smile on his face

"I'll just play a documentary, at least it's better than the kids party" Lucas said as we all agreed

I don't know for how long we sat watching the documentary before Antonio called us out to the backyard

"the guests went, axel play with your sister" he said

"axel playing?" Lucas laughed

"Shut up" axel nudged him "am I supposed to jump on a baby's trampoline with her, dad?"

we were all laughing and playing together not until I saw Bryce's face turn pale, with widened eyes
