I was heading towards the house when I saw Axel's car pull up in the driveway

"I'll see you guys tomorrow" Theo said from his car as he waved to me then to axel "and good luck with that" he pointed at axel as I rolled my eyes

"thanks for driving me here" I said as he laughed before driving off

Axel got down from his car and stood behind me "I guess we have some talking to do"

"No we don't"

"Mel talking won't hurt" he said

"It doesn't matter" I shrugged

"Mel" he held my hand stopping me

"There's nothing to talk about axel, nothing happened" I said nonchalantly

"Nothing happened?" He asked confused

"yeah" I nodded while pulling my hand out of his grip before opening the house door and we both got inside

"I don-" axel stopped almost immediately trying to figure out what was happening around us

I saw Axel shake his head and suck in a deep breath, he was getting mad

Renee appeared coming down from the stairs as Antonio followed her, his face was red and all it showed was pure hate

"Where are you going?!" Antonio yelled

"To hell! I'm sick of you Antonio! I can't stay here anymore" Renee yelled

"No he didn't, but you should've believed your own son, it wasn't his fault and he keeps blaming himself. And I heard you once saying to Renee that she shouldn't talk about this anymore but what is she doing is trying to fix it, she knows for a fact that her son didn't have anything to do with that.

I know that losing your daughter hurted you in many ways but it wasn't only you that was hurting

"What? Answer!" I said before Lucas answered

"I guess you heard, can you do me a favor"

"Can you stop at the house, I asked them to get val's bag ready, can you drop it off? and alone please"

"I will" Lucas said looking at confusedly

"I'll send you the location" Axel said before he closed the call

"Alone? So now he's ghosting us?" Theo asked

"I don't know"I said as I hugged my knees to my chest

We grabbed Valerie's things before driving to the location, we soon stopped infront of a house

"Who's house is this?" I asked

"His mom's friend, I remember picking him up from here once" Theo said

"are you guys going to see him?" Luke asked as we shook our heads

"He said Alone" I said as Lucas nodded before he got down from the car while me and Theo sat in silence

"No mom, someone's here to see you" axel said

"Is it your father? I swear if it's him. I'll jump out of the window" she said making the other woman in the room laugh

"Amelia! I was worried about you" she said as I hugged her

"Thank you darling, I really appreciate it" she said before pulling me closer to her and whispering "and thanks for being there for Axel"

I smiled genuinely before me and him got out of the room

"what did she say to make you smile this much?" Axel asked raising a brow

"not your business" I sticked by tongue out
