We arrived to the house after we dropped Bryce to his home

I met up with his foster parents and they were really nice and sweet,

I actually was really happy for Bryce

They cared about him, and the other kids loved him too

they told me that they'll be trying to adopt him soon

"I can't wait to see him again" I said when I entered the house with axel behind me

He offered to drop him off with me, and he's the one who knew the location so I couldn't say no

"you just saw him Mel" axel said while laughing

"I know but the last time I saw him was a while ago and I just saw him for few hours now and I still miss him" I said before sending him a cheeky smile

"you'll see him again" axel said as he pinched my cheek

"Amelia" Antonio who I didn't know was here said "come take a seat"

"Yeah sure, is everything alright?" I sat beside them on the chair confused

"so I spoke to Antonio and we have an idea" Renee said "since you'll be 18 soon, we thought that it would be more comfortable for you to move in your own apartment with Bryce, we can manage with his foster parents"

"you don't have to say anything, we just want you to be comfortable" Antonio said

I caught the bitter low laugh that escaped Axel's mouth "so you're moving out now?"

"Axel I-" he shook his head before going upstairs

"I guess he got used to you, but what do you think?" renne asked

"I mean that amazing but I don't think it's what I want. Bryce has a loving family now and I don't want to ruin it. If you're not comfortable with me here then I can manage"

"No no thats not what we meant" Renee shook her head

"That's not what we wanted you to understand, we just thought you'd be more comfortable. this house is yours and you can stay forever here, as long as you want" Antonio said

"and honestly you've been a great help in the house so why wouldn't I want you?" Renee said we laughed

"Thank you both so much, I owe you everything but I'm actually comfortable living here" I said

"then stay as long as you want" Antonio said

"Thank you" I said as they smile

"And Antonio can I ask you a favor?" I asked

"Sure darling anything" he said

I walked in to his room and found him putting his headphones on, and playing his video games again

he caught my presence but ignored me and completed playing

"you know that even if I left, I won't stop seeing you" I said "and axe, I'm not going anywhere, I'll be staying here"

"But what about Bryce?" He asked

"He has a loving and caring family, and I get to see him anytime. So taking him isn't the best option" I said

"so you're not going anywhere?"

"Axel even if I thought of leaving, I'll not go to the other part of the world!" I told him

"And besides when did my presence mean so much to you?"

"Shut up, it does" he said making a smile appear on my face

"I'm flattered, well I'll leave you alone now, I'll go take a shower before I sleep"

"Okay" he said as I got down from his bed and walked to the door

"hey mel" he stopped me

"uh.. would you maybe like to go out tomorrow?" He asked avoiding my gaze

"where to?" I asked trying to hide the fact that my heart was dancing right now of happiness

"somewhere I promised to take you to" he said "consider this as a date"

I'm sure my jaw's were starting to hurt from how much I was smiling "sure"

I gave him a quick nod

I turned, made my way out before closing his door before running to my room and calling Sav to tell her every detail

he took my to his mom's gallery, as he promised that night

the fact that he remembers this small detail makes me happy

"wait there is no one here!" I said after looking at the empty place and realizing that no one is inside in this large place

"I wanted to make it extra special" he said making my heart jump "so shall we go see the painting?"

I nodded before he took me around the gallery, explaining the painting and I was literally so impressed by Renee's work.

she was an amazing painter, her art work was stunning

"Look over here" I said to axel holding my phone out to take a photo of him and an art piece

"Don't start again mel" he covered his face trying to hide himself from the camera

"But I want to take pictures" I pouted making him sigh

he shook his head slowly before putting on a fake smile but whatever at least he's smiling

"it's perfect" he smiled

"I meant the painting" I corrected making his face fall

I laughed loudly as Axel smirked "the painting huh?"

"Axel no please no!" I said when I saw him open his arms, I knew he was going to throw me on his back

"What did you just say?" He asked as he took couple of steps towards me

"You're perfect and amazing and hot and stunning and everything else" I said making him laugh

"I thought I heard something else" he said his smirk still on "but that's doesn't change anything" with that he wrapped his arms around my waist, picked me up and threw me on his back

"AXEL! PUT ME DOWN"

"HELP HE'S KIDNAPPING ME" I yelled

He laughed "No one is going to hear you and thanks"

"somewhere special to me, you need to see it" he said before entering a dark room

he put me down then opened his flashlight from his phone.

the place was empty, only white walls and in the middle of the room

A blanket was placed with some pillows

"What are we doing here?"

"Wait, just go lay over there" he said as I obeyed him and laid on the floor, resting my head on the pillow

Second later, he approached me and laid next to me

Axel was holding a small remote in his hands, he pressed a button before lights flashed from everyone in the room and reflected to the walls surrounding us

I gasped when I saw the walls around us, the galaxy, stars, planets, rockets, constellation

it was the prettiest thing I've ever saw

"Oh my god.. wow" I said struggling to find the right word to explain what I was seeing

"do you like it?" He asked making me turn and face him.

"Yeah wow this is amazing"

"It's something special to me, mom surprised me and Gianna with this. We used to love these things. Anything space-related, after her death, i spent nights here just staring at this and remembering her beside Me"

I smiled, "this is really pretty and meaningful, thanks for showing it to me" I cupped his cheek and smiled

"I trust you, I hope you know that very well" he said

"Wow who would've thought you'd say this to a girl and that girl is Amelia who you used to hate that much?"

"Shut up, things changed" he said with a smile before rolling his eyes

"And how's that?" I asked raising a brow

"I don't know maybe the fact that i used to hate you before but I like you now" he said before his eyes widened a bit

"Besides I like you now, and I'm on a date with you not her. And can just forget about her? She doesn't matter to me anymore"

"It's alright, it's nothing" he assured "anyways, where should we go eat later" he pulled me close to him

"I don't know, any place you'd like to eat in"

"Honestly Axe, I eat anything and any type so it doesn't matter to me" I said "but can we grab icecream later"

"Of course we can" he pinched my nose before kissing my cheek

"I honestly can't thank you enough for everything you're doing for me, and thank you for sticking with me"

"you deserve more dumbass" he said as he ran his fingers through my hair before placing a peck to my lips
