《Monsters (Pennywise X Reader)》Chapter 15

When (Y/n) woke up, she noticed that she was quite warm. She looked around for a bit, taking a few seconds to understand that she was inside her room. It seemed that it had brought her to her bed, actually covering her at some point.

The woman lifted the covers, seeing herself naked and pulling the linen against her body again. She blushed from head to toe, she remembered all the things they did the night before. It was so sudden, but at the right time, so rough, but extremely gentle. She still couldn't bring herself into believing how comfortable it had felt, how completely and utterly loved she felt.

She got up, her legs weak and her back hurting, not as much as she thought it would, but it was an uncomfortable feeling nonetheless. She had her breakfast, not expecting to not feel hungry at all when the food touched her mouth. Her morning was rather boring, nothing to do, nothing to watch and it wasn't there to entertain her, in one way or another. However, when she was watching the television, she noticed a commercial about the carnival happening in town. That seemed to be a fun distraction for the day, something to take her mind off of the possible final fight that would happen soon, and she could sense that it was coming.

She waited till after lunch to go, she got ready and took off, a happy strut on her steps. When she got there, the first thing she noticed was the clown handing balloons to the children around. He had his back to the woman, but he looked quite familiar to her. He had the same white clothes and fiery hair that Pennywise has. It made her think that maybe it was taking care of her even from afar, worried that she would encounter the group of enemies again.

She thought about going after it, but decided to enjoy her day alone, making it just a normal day in her life. Well, as normal as it could probably be, maybe as normal as before she had met the clown. She went to the carrousel, to the ferris wheel and finally to the haunted house, finding the last attraction really boring. She knew only Pennywise could make her shake and tremble, in both senses of these words. The fear she felt with the cheap jumpscares the attraction made was nothing compared to its way of causing blood chilling fear, just pure and raw fear.

Her day off was cut short when she saw a boy running to an attraction, a man following him angrily and worried. The woman recognized the man, she couldn't remember his name, but she knew he was there at the restaurant the night before. She felt a chill run through her spine, she feared all the others were with him, but it seemed that no one was following after him and the kid. She decided best to hurry after them to make sure the crazy man didn't hurt the child.

So, she entered the attraction. Right at the entrance the ground was spinning, but as she was going to enter it, it stopped, making her suspicion bigger than before. Then, there was a corridor with punching bags with drawings of clowns swinging from side to side, and once again, it all stopped when she got close enough to almost touch one. SHe shook her head from side to side, not believing what Pennywise was doing. She was so disappointed in what it was doing, she felt betrayed and angry. And so, she continued to the next room, stomping her feet on the ground, knowing that the thing could see her. The subsequent room was full of mirrors, a mirror maze maybe, but it didn't seem to have an end, since she kept following the two, bumping on the glass multiple times.

At some point she lost their trails, and was alone, looking at herself being reflected all around. She stopped to think that maybe it was a good thing that she hadn't found them, maybe Pennywise interfered to make sure she was safe. However, that train of thought was cut short when she turned around and was met with see through glass, jumping slightly at the fact that she thought she was alone. The boy that the man was following was hitting the glass, trying to get out of the small place. And right in front of the kid was Bill (she remembered his name with the jumpscare), he too was trying to break the glass, asking if the child was alright. He saw her, his face contorting into confusion before turning to anger, his hand forming into a fist and hitting the glass beside him, almost right beside her, making her cower a little in surprise.

"W-What are y-y-you doing here?" he asked, getting closer to the glass.

But, their conversation was cut short when the sound of something sliding on the glass made them look towards the child, seeing Pennywise dragging its now dog-like tongue in front of them, a smile playing at its lips mischievously.

"N-no." Bill says, banging on the ground, terrified of what the clown would do, and (Y/n) wasn't really different.

"Pennywise, please." she pleads, earning a strange glare from the man.

It looks at the kid hungrily, its eyes yellow from the thrill of the hunt.

"I'm here this time, just take me." Bill tries to make a deal, hoping it would take it.

However, it seemed to be entranced by the kid and the three different types of fear it was smelling in the air. The woman banged on the glass, not liking where this was going. She was pretty sure that it was doing this just to see Bill falter, give up or straight up angry, not able to think for himself.

Pennywise began smashing his big head on the surface, laughing for the first two times it had done it. But, right after the glass cracked a little and the kid began to scream in fear, its smile disappeared.

The boy kept screaming for his life, hoping the two adults would take him away or that maybe it was all a dream and he was still in his house, lying asleep in his bed. Even though Bill wished that too, he was realistic enough to not scream and cower, but to try to break the glass, of course it was in vain, but he still tried. The woman too was trying to help, screaming at the clown and at the same time banging on the class, hot tears jumping from her eyes. She couldn't afford to see another kid dead right in front of her.

And then, the thing stopped just as it was about to break the glass, smiling creepily at the kid, its eyes widening and the sharp teeth showing.

"Pennywise, please, don't!" she pleads again, putting her hands on the glass, her tears staining her face and making her cheeks red "I'll leave you! Forever!" she screams, Bill looked at her confused, but the clown only looked at her with the corners of its eyes "I'll go so far away that you won't be able to find me, not even a trace!" she continues "Please, stop. We'll figure this-" she was cut short when it banged its head one last time, breaking the glass and biting the kid, splashing blood all over the glass.

The lights flickered for a second, cleaning it all, no blood, no clown and no see through glass, just two adults completely and utterly terrified. She fell to the ground, her face pale and her legs weak beneath her, her mouth quivered and her eyes wide as a deer in the headlights. Bill looked at her, thinking that maybe she was an apparition too, but it seemed that she was real, just like the night at the restaurant.

She looked at him, expecting to see an angry face, but finding pity instead. She got up slowly, her eyes still spilling tears, and grabbed the man's jacket, no wall between them this time.

"Please, I want this to stop just as much as you do." she says, her voice was full of regret, but her face showed only sadness.

As he was about to respond, the lights flickered again, and the pressure on his jacket was gone, along with the woman in front of him. He looked from side to side and didn't find anything, sighting and hurrying to find the exit for this shit hole that was the attraction.

At the other side of the town, (Y/n) was screaming at the clown, it had her over its shoulder, like a bag of potatoes. They were inside the meteor crater, it walked with her to the middle of it, placing her as gently as it could, even though moments before it had ripped a kid to shreds.

"How could you?" she asked, crossing her arms in front of her tucked legs and buried her face in them.

"I had to." it says, still standing up, not moving a muscle, its face was still, but its voice showed the emotion it carried "They need to fear." then it crouched down, placing a gloved hand on her cheek, lifting her face to look at it "They are coming now, you'll need to hide when they get here." and it disappeared again, leaving her in the cavern, alone and cold, once again.
