Daniel held his hands together in nervousness as he stood by his car, waiting for Andy to come out. Although he was nervous, it didn't quite show on his face as he had a light smile on. If you looked closer though, you would be able to see the light beads of sweat that lined in his neck.

Honestly, when Daniel has asked Andy out for dinner, he was already expecting to get rejected. When Andy actually agreed to his request, Daniel was definitely elated. The whole time Daniel was at his office, he couldn't stop his feeling of excitement and joy, especially since the other was Andy. Well, now he was feeling nervous, but that was only normal. It would be the same for anyone else, then again, it could just be him.

Standing and waiting for Andy, Daniel's heart felt like it would jump out of his chest because of the anticipation he was feeling. He tried to hide his silly smile by covering it with a very light smile that traced his lips. Breathing in a bit deeply, he tried to slow down his racing heart.

Andy walked out of the doors, immediately seeing Daniel from the corners of his eyes. The scene was actually funny because Daniel was a bit bad at hiding his emotions and it was clearly expressed on his face. Andy had took his time getting ready, all because he was using system to tell him about Daniel's situation.

Andy had kept Daniel waiting for him but he was sure that Daniel didn't even notice that fact. If anything, Daniel was just like a fool in love, exactly like Bai Mengxiang was.

If Daniel was like Bai Mengxiang, then Avian would be Xu Yongheng, but it was just that these two would never be able to reunite in their life.

Now that he was on this topic, Andy really wondered what happened to Xu Yongheng after his death, or should he say, Bai Mengxiang's death. And what about the little baby, Xu Wuhui and Xiao Lan.

Andy has never thought about these people when he came to this world with a new identity, but as he looked at Daniel, he couldn't help but bring up the past. Now that he looked at it, Daniel did act like Xu Yongheng at times, but it was hard to tell. They had similar habits that they unconsciously did at times.

Andy felt stupid for never noticing, but what he had in mind was impossible. It had to be impossible, after all, that was just too unlikely. Plus, people throughout the whole whole world could unconsciously be doing things that are similar. Just because Daniel and Xu Yongheng both furrowed their eyebrows, bit their writing utensil while writing, liked to tap their fingers on the table while reading letters, and.....Dang......They were really similar. Andy could think up of so many things they do in common, it's actually scary.

But, he was pretty sure that what he had in mind is wrong......Right?

When Andy had finally finished his sixth panic inside, he had already reached Daniel. Stoping as he looked at Daniel, Andy realized that although the two did not look similar, something about Daniel made him think of Xu Yongheng.

But, then again, that didn't involved Andy. After all, he was no longer Bai Mengxiang, but Andy Jules. Bai Mengxiang was never him, and well, Andy Jules wasn't him either. He was merely playing a game for the sake of his fun, a game that involved many different roles. After all, Andy had never been the person to fall in love, to cling onto someone like these people had.

Maybe he did feel sympathy for them, but deep down, Andy would never understand, just the same as why he would never be able to relate to these people, or should he say, people who are a fool in love, willing to risk everything for someone who could easily betray them. Andy had never believed in this type of thing and he will never do such an idiotic thing.

Like, he meant, never ever for a thousand years as long as he stills owns his life. If his life was at risk, then he*l yeah, he would fall in love and do such a stupid thing. Don't know about you, but Andy treasured his life above his pride. As long as he still has his life, he can always get revenge, but if he chose his pride above his life, then that meant he would never be able to get revenge.

Now, enough with the chitchat, we need to focus on Andy and Daniel.

Daniel watched as Andy stopped in front of him, his heart trembling deep down as he stared into Andy's gray eyes. He tried hard to calm himself down, and make sure that he wasn't acting like an utter fool. But first, what was he going to say? Daniel didn't even know how to start a conversation with Andy, and he was definitely panicking over that.

With his hand rubbing his neck, Daniel opened the door with his other hand, asking, "How was your day?"

Andy looked at Daniel, his gray eyes looked as if they were trying to find out something about him. "It went well, how was yours?" Then Andy stepped into the car, not at all fazed about what Daniel was doing.

"Mine was great," After saying so, Daniel closed the door and hurried over to the drivers side and got in. As he sat inside the car, he began driving, but every now and then, his eyes would look at Andy, wondering how to start up a conversation.

Andy sat within the car, even his sitting position was very much like his personality, cold and upright. As Andy looked out the window, his eyes slightly closed, and Daniel couldn't help but smile while looking at Andy from the corners of his eyes.

As he focused on driving, he couldn't help but think about yesterday. After finding out about Andy, he had done a quick background check on Andy, hoping to find out some more information about Andy. Andy didn't have a close relationship with his family, that much, Daniel knew about. But, while he was at it, since Daniel couldn't find out much, he had a friend of his help find out some deeper things.

Andy was cold, everyone knew about that and the only person who was by his side was his assistant, Sam. In fact, throughout Andy's life, he didn't have any friends, maybe Louis was one, but growing up, Andy had a bad relationship with his family and Daniel understood too.

After growing up, when Daniel had gotten together with Avian, Andy moved abroad. Daniel didn't know if it was because of his doing, but if it was so, then that meant that he had hurt Andy unintentionally, and Andy might resent him because of this. Daniel was sure that he was to blame.

Andy started his own company, not once coming back to help his family out, but, then again, he had no reason to.

And, Daniel had also done a check up on Avian too, and he was angry at himself for not doing so earlier. Turns out, before even getting a new heart, Avian had already stuck his hand into the underworld. There, Avian had gained power without anyone knowing his real identity, and he was also plotting to bring down Andy and his own father, Theo. Turns out, Avian was very much like his mother Rose, they were both evil to their very core.

Daniel just didn't understand what he found likable about that person. Now, he realized just how foolish he was, just how dumb he was, willing to go to the extreme just for this type of person. And, if he hadn't been with Avian, just maybe, he and Andy could've been together. And maybe, even if it was small, Daniel might've been able to help Andy through his struggle. But he didn't, and it was already too late to even think about doing so.

Taking a quick glance at the man by his side, the one who seemed so cold and emotionless, a deity that the world didn't deserve, Daniel felt a little bit startled by his emotions. Maybe Andy had always knew who he was, but Daniel hadn't found out who Andy was. It might already be too late, but Daniel still hoped to change everything. He knew that this might just be him asking for too much, but, Andy had also gone through so much.

Just then, a slight ache ran through his head before disappearing, and Daniel suddenly felt a sense of lost and pain in his heart. Daniel didn't even know where it came from, but he suddenly felt a strong sense of longing, yearning. What for? Daniel had no idea, but, his eyes drifted to Andy.

Was their entanglement something much more than this, something that neither of the two knew about?

The whole time Daniel was having his inner thoughts, Andy was busy rambling to System the whole time. He didn't even notice that Daniel kept looking towards him, but, even if he did, he probably wouldn't even care.

(I don't know, just.....something about the both of them feels similar. When I compare the image of the two together, they don't look alike, but, they feel alike. Like, something about the way they move on with their everyday life, and the fact that have very similar habits. I'm not sure, but, something about Daniel feels similar to Xu Yongheng. System, do you think it's possible that Daniel and Xu Yongheng have the same soul? Is it possible that his soul is following me or something?)

Andy stopped the chill that ran down his back as he said so.
