《Steal The Male Lead》2.11

Andy sat inside the restaurant, opposite from Daniel, who was fidgeting like crazy.
You know what? This person couldn't be considered a scum, but more of a foolish idiotic male lead. Considering the fact that Daniel had never thought about the conversation between Rose and Theo, Andy knew that that was the hands of fate, or should he say, the world was trying to hide the original souls identity.
Maybe it could also be that the world was trying to hide Avian and continue to make him the pure and innocent person he was never going to be.
Andy just wanted to know who had read the information about this world, and if there were readers who sympathized with Avian, because if so, he was going to have some serious business to talk about. He was going to have some hands to throw.
Now, before Andy got sidetracked, he noticed that Daniel was very different from his cold face, and if anything, very alike to Xu Yongheng. If you don't think that was weird, then think again. Although Daniel had a cold looking face, he seemed to like smiling and was very gentle compared to what his face made him seem like.
Andy didn't mind much, after all, it was none of his business. Or at least he thinks so....
"So, for what reason did you want to talk with me?" Andy put down his menu, his eyes looking up straight towards Daniel, giving off an eerie glare.
Daniel finally turned to look up at Andy's expression, deep down, making up a lie.
"I wanted to talk over some details about our plan. There were some things that I was unsure about and wanted to talk over it with you. If it inconvenienced you in anyway, I apologize for that. It's just, I wanted to have a private conversation with you face to face." Daniel had a worried expression on, deep down, his heart was even more worried. Lies, lies, and lying, he was just waiting to get busted.
Daniel didn't mean to do this, but, he wanted to soften the way so that he could start talking about some personal matters with Andy. It wasn't the best way, but neither was just suddenly talking about some very personal things that could end up getting the opposite reaction to what Daniel wanted.
Andy was silent for a while, his eyes almost seeming to peer deep into Daniel's soul.
Daniel keep a calm composure, merely putting a light smile on. His eyes remained calm and composed, not letting out any other emotions slip through.
"I see......Well then, where do you want to start off?" Andy didn't give Daniel a moment to recompose and keep making lies, after all, if Daniel kept doing so, that meant that Andy wouldn't be able to play his part.
"I," Daniel's eyes moved a slight bit, a panic feeling in his heart before he calmed himself down. There was no need for him to be panicking, after all, he just needed to be careful. But, he still felt bad for lying. "Well, I wanted to know how we are going to recruit models. Since we have made quite a few different types of clothing for this collaboration, does it matter what kind of models we use?"

Andy moved his white-gloved-covered hand, using it to support his chin as his eyes closed for a bit, obviously thinking deeply. Not.......
"Models.......Any models would be fine. No matter if their reputation is big or small, I could care less about that. What I want them to have is ability, I want their skills to be at the top. In fact, they do not have to be a model who had debuted yet, so long as their ability to model is high. I trust that you would have an eye out for such things." Andy did make his sentence longer on purpose, obviously to tell that he wasn't going to ignore or shut Daniel out. Well, not that Daniel was even going to notice.
Daniel's eyes noticeably glittered a bit, the light shining from within them, and his light smile was very good to look at.
"I see then. Then, next thing I want to know about. Does it matter when we release new about our collaboration? Or do you already have a plan in mind?" Daniel didn't say much, after all, he knew that Andy must already be thinking of such things.
"We can do that as soon as the final product is ready. By my estimation, it will only take about nine more days. By that time, I will have everything ready, then we can announce and release the products." Andy straightened his back, sitting up higher and resuming his stoic face. His eyes twinkled from under the dim light in the restaurant, and Daniel couldn't help but feel a pang in his heart.
For some reason, Daniel couldn't shake off the familiar feeling in his heart, a sense of yearning and longing that he couldn't understand. For some reason, facing this cold face, it was almost like Daniel knew deeply who this person was. It wasn't real, or, maybe Daniel just couldn't recall it.
"I see then," Daniel watched as their meal came, but his eyes were still deeply attracted to Andy. Just a bit more, just a bit more time before he should talk. His hands shook from nervousness, but it wasn't exactly that. Was it fear, or was it a sense of danger? As if he would lose something again. Wait....again? Losing something again?
"Longwang, he's getting married, he's breaking the promise he made to me."
Daniel's head ache with a silent pain, but his heart pulsated within the dark. What was that?
An unknown voice echoed in his head, speaking a very foreign language that he shouldn't have been able to understand, but he did understand what the words was. It sounded so familiar, and it felt like he should remember what it was. But he couldn't. He didn't even know who the words were said to, he didn't even understand why he could understand it, why he had suddenly heard such things. He felt like he should know who had said so. His heart let out a beat in pain.
"Daniel? Daniel?" Andy couldn't help but ask after seeing that Daniel had paused. Though it looked interesting, he still needed to ask. After all, if he took joy in too much sufferings of others, he wouldn't be able to get anything done.

Hearing Andy's voice, Daniel shook away what had just happened. But he couldn't. For some reason, it felt like he should remember this.
"Sorry, did you say something?" Daniel asked, his eyes looking up to Andy, showing some very scattered emotions within them.
Now Andy was interested in what had just happened. But first, he needed to play his part.
"I just wanted to know your real reason as to why you have invited me out like this. After all, I'm sure that you already knew the plan for everything, don't you, Daniel Lovensci?" Andy leaned in as he said so, his cold eyes glistening under the lights, his features lighting up, his lips in a straight line.
Daniel inwardly sigh. His acting was never that great, just why was he even expecting that Andy would fall for it. Well, since it had already come to this, might as well start. It would be better than trying to hide it.
"Andy, do you remember me?" Daniel carefully watched Andy's reaction as he said so.
As he said that, Andy showcased an emotionless expression, but in his eyes, there was a panic within them that Daniel was able to see right away.
"I don't understand what you mean." Andy looked away as he said so, hiding his eyes away from Daniel, his face turning even colder than it was before.
Daniel knew that Andy was slowly cracking. Even if it was so small, it meant that he still held weight within Andy's heart. It was such a small reaction, but the cloud within Daniel's heart lifted.
"Andy, you remember me, don't you?" Daniel didn't change much of his words, wanting to get an answer from Andy first before he continued to talk.
Andy opened his mouth before he closed it again, not knowing what to say. He closed his eyes, covering the turmoil running deep within his eyes.
Daniel looked at the image of Andy, so cold and distant, yet why did this man feel so broken? It was as if that cold and emotionless coverage was merely a mask to hide the broken and scarred person who had been hurt to many times in this world.
"Why.....why are you asking?" Andy's voice trembled, his eyes opening to reveal a somber light.
Daniel looked into Andy's dull eyes, eyes that were no longer covered by a cold light. Eyes that fully expressed the deep emotions that he had been hiding for so long, emotions that had nowhere to be expressed. Why hadn't he known sooner?
"Andy, do you know who I am?" Daniel revealed a very tender expression on his face, his eyes soft and gentle.
Andy took in a breath, his face still cold, yet his eyes fully expressed the commotion he was going through.
A human's eyes fully expressed their heart, no matter how hard they tried to hide it.
Even the best of the best of actors and actresses can still never hide the emotions in their eyes.
Andy knew that there was no hiding, so he briefly replied, a voice so low, but was still able to bring immense happiness to Daniel's heart, "Yes...."
Daniel stood up from his chair, putting down a card as he quickly grabbed onto Andy's hand, dragging him away. "Come with me, Andy. I have so much I need to say to you."
Andy could only follow along as his body got dragged away, his eyes turning to see Daniel's back.
Just then, like a mirage, it was like someone else was reflected within Daniel's back, dragging him away, holding onto his hand tightly, just like in the past.
For the first time in forever, Andy lost his composure.
"Let him go, Fei Qianchi, you deserve someone else."
A man touched his face as he said so, wiping away his tears. The man's face was blocked, but Andy could tell that there was a sad smile on his face. He was dressed in ancient Chinese clothing, but there was something different about him.
Andy's heart echoed with pain but yet, also confusion. He didn't know this man, he didn't even know who this person was, he couldn't even see his expression. Just what the heck was going on?
"For you, even if this soul of mine is shattered into a million pieces, I would be willing to do so as long as you are safe in this world."
System closed his eyes. Different to his normal body, his body was that of a very handsome man, a strong aura coming from his body.
"Master, another piece of Zhu Longwang's soul has been recovered. Fei Qianchi has begun gaining his memories back."
Another voice echoed back. "Good. After so long, he has finally begun fixing his mistake."
The man that had said those words gently caressed a coffin, cold air coming from within it. The man smiled gently, he looked very alike to the person laying within the coffin.
The person in the coffin, his eyes were closed tightly. His body had been there for so long, but as an immortal, his body wouldn't fade away. No matter how much time passed, as long as it was preserved, he would still look the same.
"Longwang, I found him. I found the person that you have loved for over five hundred years, the person who you sacrificed everything for. When you reawaken, I hope that you will still remember everything."
"That person, he is living well. I made sure to look over him. After all, when you revolted, it was all for his sake. Was it worth it, sacrificing everything for someone who never loved you? Someone who was foolishly in love with someone else?"
"Master, Immortal Baicheng has asked for you."
The man looked up as he heard those words, his purple eyes shining with a murderous light.
But as he looked at the coffin once more, he smiled.
If this person was still here, who knew just how powerful he would be now?
If only this foolish younger brother of his hadn't loved Fei Qianchi, he would still be alive........
