《Their my life (sequel to he's my mate)》Chapter 2

I couldn't stand still as me, Caleb, and the kids stood in the main hall waiting for Jackson to walk through the front door. It's been another couple of weeks and Jackson was finally coming home. They finally evacuated everyone and the officers who left were coming back to take care of the people who lived in the city just below the castle and the hill it was on.

"Calm down Jace he's probably just talking to his friends who stayed here and the people in the village." Caleb said putting his hands on my shoulders.

"I know but I missed him so much. It's been to long!" I wined pouting up at Caleb.

"I know it has. Just give him some time he'll be here soon." Just as Caleb said that the front door opened and Jackson walked in. I instantly took off running, leaping into Jackson's arms. He chuckled and cupped my butt holding me up as I hugged the living daylight out of him.

"I missed you too baby." He whispered kissing my cheek.

"Your never going away again. I'm not letting you go again." I whispered trying to fight back the tears.

"Deal. I don't think I'll be able to leave any of you again like that." He said and I could feel him walking and then I felt Caleb's arms going around us.

"You have to let go of Jackson now Jace. He needs to unpack and relax a little." Caleb said trying to pull me off him. I wined holding on tighter to Jackson.

"It's ok Caleb. He just missed me. You know how the mating bond is for wolves, if you left too he would slowly die. Just let him be over needy." Jackson said and I heard them kiss. If I wasn't slowly falling asleep breathing in Jackson's scent, I would be turned on. I signed nuzzleing my nose further into Jackson's neck falling asleep.

Jackson's P.O.V (yessss surprise)

I laughed as I realized Jace was asleep.

"I'm going to put Jace to bed. I guess he hasn't been sleeping very well huh?" I said shifting my arms under him. Caleb nodded and brushed some hair out of Jace's face.

"Yeah well none of us have. Especially since they really couldn't leave our room. I didn't want them to get hurt if the fighting got closer or if people broke in." He said picking up Zack and following me towards our room.

"Yeah? Well then let's all take a nap. I've been up for 20 hours so I'm starting to get tired." I said placing Jace onto the bed and pulled his jeans off.

"That sounds good. I would like to get a couple of hours of sleep before I go back to doing paperwork." Caleb said as he plopped down onto the bed and lifting Simba onto the bed. He instantly curled up into Jace falling asleep. I smiled at the scene before stripping my clothes off and slipping into the bed spooning Jace. I'm so glad that I finally get to be home and spent time with my family. But I knew it wasn't going to last long. The fighting is still going on and the rouges are pushing us back. It's like their whole purpose of fighting is to get something or someone specific. They keep pushing our troops back but their doing it by force not killing everyone. I just hope we can stop them before they get to close to the castle or we might have to send Jace and the kids away till all the fighting stops completely.
