Hidden beneath me that you don't know

With makeup

With baggy clothes

The insecurities that eat me alive every day

The pain I've been through

It's all buried inside me

Nobody knows the things I have to do

No one asks about the fake friends I lost

The toxic ones that damaged me

The bully that rejoiced in my pain

Nights spent crying in my room

The mental health problems

No one was there for me

Only a select few

Every left when the issues came

It's all been hidden beneath

But I won't let it be that way anymore

I'm letting it loose

I'll be free of the burdens I've carried

Because it's not hidden beneath me

It's all out in the open
