I take the bouquet of flowers from the floor and take it with me to the university.

The fact that he took the challenge didn't make me feel happy or something. It wasn't because I was afraid that the challenge would work and I would fall, but because I just wan't to spend all types of feelings on such things he would do every time. Let's hope that this kind of a thing won't happen again, because if not I'll just try not caring and wasting my feelings and nerves on him.

I take a couple of steps and then my hand collides with someone's chest. I raised my head and so the ginger hair of my dear friend.

"Matt! What a surprise! I thought that you were gonna go to university with Brittany from now on," I say being pleasantly surprised.

"We'll talk about that later, but for now let me ask you about the flowers. Who gave you those?" he said his face looking serious.

I didn't push him to talk about how he decided to go to the university with me. I thought that it wasn't that important, the important was that he was with me now and we would go together. We were walking towards the university while having a conversation.

"It's from Damon," I said looking at the flowers.

"From Damon?" he said not completely understanding the situation, "as far as I know both of you hate each other. Why is he buying you flowers now?"

"Well, yesterday he told me that he likes me and I didn't believe him myself because as you mentioned we hate each other."

"He told you he likes you? Listen Bailey honestly I haven't ever thought that it could turn out this way, but you have to keep distance from Damon. You know better than me what kind of a guy he is and that he doesn't throw that 'i like you' phrase to special girls. He does it to everybody just to play with their hearts. Did you hear me?"

"Why did you get so overprotective Matt? I know him better than you and I understand everything really well. The only thing that I don't understand is why you're getting so overprotective if you were the one to tell me to be kind to him."

I knew that we were already late for the class, but I just thought that I could go to the second class, as I've always been present anyways. I think that this conversation is more important right now.

"I know I did, but don't be too kind to him."

"Okay I won't. Actually, I wasn't even going to be too kind. "

"By the way why are you taking the flowers to the university?"

"You'll see. There is a reason," I say and a smirk appears on my face.

After a couple of minutes we reach the university. I take out my phone to see the time and notice that I have 3 texts from Meggy. She was asking me where I was, whether I was going to come at all and whether something happened. She knows I don't like to be absent without reason. I text her that I overslept and that I would come to the next class. I started calculating my absences to understand how many excused absences were left for that class, when Matt scared me to death. As always.

"You are dead Matthew. I'm gonna kill you right now," I said pushing him hard.

"Bay Bay tell me honestly you missed that, didn't you?" he say with a smile.

"Sure I did," I said hugging him.

I think that because of the extent I always get scared to something's gonna happen to me someday, but no matter that I like when he does that to me and I missed him so much.

We entered the university and I started searching for Damon with me eyes. I couldn't find him anywhere. He's everywhere when I don't want to see him, but now when I want to find him he's nowhere to be found.

"If you're looking for Damon, then there he is," Matt said point to the left.

We went to where he was standing with his friends. I haven't ever talked about his friends. So, let me introduce you to them.

Let's start with Elijah, who's in my opinion the most annoying one because he's passive. Despite the fact that he's annoying I like some of his jokes. Sometimes people confuse him with Damon as they have some similarities of course except the fact that Damon's eyes are brown and Elijah's eyes are blue. I think I'm one of the few people who doesn't think that they look alike. I don't know that much about him because I've never had classes with him. One thing I know about him is that he's the most silent one. I know I said I like his jokes, but he rarely ever talks, so when he does, it's pretty funny.

And then there's Julian. He's the only person other than Matty to have red hair, that is long enough to be styled up as he always does. His eyes are light brown and he's always chewing a gum I don't know why. He does it even during class, which is so annoying. From his body you could obviously conclude that he's working out a lot, but I wouldn't say that it's enough for him to be attractive because he's not intelligent at all. If you asked my opinion he's the most handsome among them, but his personality is shitty, just like Damon's one. They always understand each other the best and everyone knows that they're even closer friends than the others. Also, he's the richest one among them.

But of course the first place in terms of stupidity isn't Damon's, it's Owen's. After having classes with him I realized that when creating Owen there wasn't any intelligence left to add and God was like, "Oh well, there's nothing we can do he's gonna be born in a couple of months so let's leave him without intelligence. He'll figure something out." Even though people say that it's not true that blond people (especially girls) aren't smart, Owen's the one who always proves that's true. One thing that I remembered about him is that he always states the obvious.

I would really wanna know where these 'friends' of his were when those guys were beating Damon up.

"Hello angel. I see you've got my present," he said with the usual smirk on his face.

"Haha you gave her these flowers, huh?" says Owen.

What did I tell you? He always states the obvious. That just gets on my nerves.

"How did you know Owen? I thought it wasn't obvious," I think that everyone except Owen got my sarcasm.

"Ooooh I like her. She has fire in her. Who's she bro?" says Julian looking me in the eyes chewing his gum as always.

I knew that Matt would react badly to that phrase that's why I turned to look at him and reassured with my eyes that everything was under control. His frown disappeared after that.

"I'm the girl your 'bro' confessed to yesterday," I introduced myself in that way knowing Damon wouldn't like that.

After that phrase they whistled and I looked at Damon to see his reaction. He didn't say anything and I decided to make him say something.

"Am I wrong demon?"

"Aw so cute! You even gave him a nickname already? That's a sexy nickname," said Owen.

"Shut up Owen! I'm not talking to you can't you see that? Demon, am I wrong? You told me you liked me, right?"

He wasn't saying anything and I knew why. It was because whatever he answers is going to 'hurt' him in a way. If he says I'm wrong and that he doesn't like me, well everything is going to be over and i would be right that he was lying back then. If he decides to say that he does like me, then his friends are going to make fun of me because I'm not the type of girl they always go out with.

"No. You're wrong. You're not the girl I like. You wish," he said and I won. I knew it, he wouldn't risk his reputation for the feelings he said he had towards me.

Matt clenched his fist, I knew he wanted to punch him, but I took his hand into mine for him to understand that I had a plan and it was going well. I saw Damon looking down at our hands and then looking back at me.

"I won," I said smirking at him.

Then I decided to do what I've decided to do before coming. I gave him the bouquet of flowers back.

"By the way it was too cheesy, even for you. Have a nice day all of you," I said winking at them and walking away.

I could see that the demon was shocked by the way I behaved myself. The other girls were always screaming, crying and passing out in front of him when he told them he didn't like them anymore, but for me it was the opposite, I was more than happy.
