《MAOS ; No More Secrets》One Of Us

As I practice using my new found... Abilities with my combat skills, I right and left hook a punching back in the landing bay of The B.U.S. whilst concentrating on staying invisible which I have been doing for about five minutes now. I then right high kick the punching bag with intense power flowing from my core, making it split open and the filling slowly falls out, and losing my concentration I become un-invisible. I then feel something wet on my upper lip, and I reach my right fingers up to my upper lip before pulling them away to see my nose is bleeding, so I use the back of my right hand to wipe it away.
"You okay?" I hear Coulson's voice, and I look to my right to see Coulson walking up the landing bay.
"Hey, uh, yeah. I've practicing on using my, um... New abilities. I thought it could be an advantage when going out into the field. But mainly to show Skye that everything is going to be alright, and what's happened to us is something we are going to have to live through, or at least until Fitz and Simmons are able find a cure." I explain to Coulson.
"I meant about your nose bleeding." Coulson states.
"Oh, right yeah... The first time it happened was in the temple, Fitz thinks my power puts stress on my body and it needs to release it somehow." I explain to him.
"May's ex-husband is coming, he's a Neurologist and Forensic Psychologist and I thought he could help you and Skye with putting together your index files. And as soon as the index files are finishes and you and Skye control your new abilities properly, you can both come back on field missions." Coulson explains to me.
"May was married?" I ask him confused.
"That's all you got from that?" Coulson asks me.
"No, I heard you... And I think its a good idea talk to someone, especially what we're going through, but Skye on the other hand... Are we talking about the same May?" I ask him confused.
After May arrived back from bringing her ex-husband, Andrew Garner, to The Playhouse, May and myself are talking to Skye in the cell of The B.U.S. about her and myself talking to Garner.
"You're kidding, right? A shrink?" Skye asks us.
"It's not personal." May tells her.
"Hell, it's not personal. It's a shrink." Skye states.
"It's standard procedure for anyo-" I try to say but she cuts me off.
"-No, I know, but I'm not just on the index. I'm also an agent." Skye tells us.
"Exactly. So you know it's non-negotiable. Andrew is good, and he's done this before." May explains to Skye.
"So have I. Me and Lyra grew up in the system. I've been through enough of these to know that I hate them. Lyra, back me up." Skye says to me.
"I've already agreed to talk to him, Skye." I say to her.
"Really?" Skye asks me incredulously.
"Skye, the sooner we do this, its one step closer to getting back to work controlling our abilities. Please, just give it a go?" I ask her, but she still seems nervous "You'll like this one." I assure her.
"Yeah, how do you know that?" Skye asks me.
"Because I was married to him." May states. That will do it.
After convincing Skye to see Garner, Garner agreed to see me first, and right now I am sitting in my office behind my desk as Garner sits on the other side of the desk on the right chair as he holds open a file.

"Where do you want to start?" I ask him.
"Well, I know you had previous sessions from when you were in foster care, more than the average foster child." Garner says to me.
"Yes, when I first went into foster care when I was four, I found it hard to talk to people about what happened." I explain to him.
"What did happen?" Garner asks me.
"Coulson knows... Skye knows a little less, but she knows its to protect her." I explain to him.
"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." Garner tells me.
"Thank you." I thank him.
"How are you coping with your new found abilities?" Garner asks me.
"I'll be honest... It's hard. I'm learning to control it better, teaching myself that I can use for combat at S.H.I.E.L.D. and when I'm on missions, but Fitz says he may be able to find a cure in our DNA from before we... Transformed." I explain to him.
"And if Fitz doesn't find a cure?" Garner asks me.
"... Then I'll live with it, and I'll be by Skye's side every step of the way forever how long she needs me." I explain to him.
"And who will be there for you?" Garner asks me.
"... Skye. We're sisters, we'd never leave each other at a time in need." I tell him.
"But you did leave her once, only moments after she was brought back from the dead from a miracle serum." Garner says to me.
"... I made a promise that I'd go on my mission from Fury once I knew she was safe, when she was... It felt like one of the hardest decisions I had to ever make." I explain to him.
"Skye shot herself when she couldn't control her powers, would you ever harm yourself?" Garner asks me.
"I wasn't like that. Skye didn't want to shoot herself, it was for the safety of everyone in the building." I explain to him.
"What if you ever got into the situation where it was to shoot yourself over your teams safety, would you?" Garner asks me.
"Of course, I would do anything to protect my sister as well. She means the world to me and I would do anything to make sure she has the best life I can give her, she's all I have." I explain to him.
"The best life you can give Skye, to make her happy. Is that the life that makes you happy?" Garner asks me.
"If Skye's happy, I'm happy." I state.
"Is Skye's happiness the only thing that means anything to you?" Garner asks me confused.
"It always has been... But now that she isn't happy..." I trail off in thought.
"Continue." Garner says me, and I look up to him, wary to answer.
"... I feel as if I've let her down." I admit to him.
After having my session with Garner, I'm making a cup of coffee on The B.U.S. when my coffee cup begins to shake, and then the whole B.U.S. begins to shake. Skye. I then run to cell where Skye's been bunking and the door is close, so I go to open it but it's locked from the inside.
"Skye!" I shout for her to open the door, but she doesn't answer as May, Fitz, Simmons and Garner arrive, Simmons with an emergency pack "Stand back." I tell them, and they all take a few steps back.

I then inhale a deep breath before hitting the door with my right fist as I let the energy flow from my core and through my fist, and the door breaks off of its hinges and falls to the floor inside of the cell, making Skye gasp awake from being asleep on her bed before I run over to, and she looks around confused as the light flickers and The B.U.S. continues to shake.
"You're doing this. You're shaking The B.U.S.. You need to stop." I tell her calmly as I crouch down in front of her as she sits on her bed.
"Okay. Okay." Skye tells me as she begins to take slow breaths.
"If she needs a sedative-" Simmons tries to say, but Fitz cuts her off.
"-No, no. It's good. It's good. It's stopping." Fitz says as The B.U.S. stops shaking, and I smile at Skye proudly.
"You did it." I smile at her, and she shows a small smile back.
"Can I talk to her alone?" Garner asks us, and I glance up at him before I look to Skye warily.
"Are you going to be alright?" I ask her.
"Y-yeah." Skye nods slightly, and I look at her hesitantly before nodding and I stand up.
"Alright." I say to her before I kiss her forehead "I'll just be in the next room if you need me." I assure her before May, myself, Fitz and Simmons leave.
After May explained to me that Coulson needed back up A.S.A.P. at Coulson's old High School as my father has collected a few gifted individuals, I offered to help and May agreed to let me, but because we are in such a rush, she is now flying The B.U.S. with Skye and Garner still in the cell. So right now I am suited up as I drink coffee in the briefing room as I wait to land, and May and Garner suddenly walk in. I guess he noticed we're not on the ground any more.
"That not-talking thing you do, not okay when we were married, but definitely not okay now." Garner tells May.
"Not okay is Lyra and Skye's lunatic father leading Coulson into a trap. Civilians could be hurt. I acted quickly." May tells him.
"And me and Skye, we do what?" Garner asks her.
"Same as if we were on base. Stay in the cell. Continue your evaluation." May tells Garner.
"That's so not gonna happen." Skye states as she walks into the briefing room.
"This is not a negotiation, Skye. You're staying on The B.U.S., end of conversation." I tell her.
"If Coulson needs backup-" Skye tries to say, but I cut her off.
"-He'll have it. We don't need you." I assure her.
"Yes, you do. He's my father, too. And for better or worse, I matter to him as well. And we can use the bonus of both of us." Skye explains to me.
"I'm with May. This is an emotional powder keg you shouldn't be anywhere near, Lyra has more control." Garner explains.
"Right. We can't risk you losing control." May agrees with Garner.
"I won't." Skye says surely.
"You don't know that." Garner tells her.
"Yes, I do. I know, because those windows aren't shattered in a million pieces right now, because this plane isn't coming apart. I'm feeling all of it. I'm breathing and locking it down just like you trained me to do. Please, Lyra?" Skye begs me, and I hesitantly answer.
"... If anything bad happens-" I try to say, but she cuts me off.
"-It won't." Skye tells me.
"You can't actually be serious?" May asks me incredulously.
"You and Coulson put us on the index. You're doing our intake assessments. How about we let our father know?" I say to May and then ask Skye, and Skye smiles at me confidently.
After we arrive at Manitowoc High School, Garner stays on The B.U.S. as May, myself and Skye walk onto the Football field, although I'm invisible with my gun at the ready as May holds a gun to the right side of Skye's neck, and as we walk towards where we see my father talking to Coulson standing beside two other men and a woman on the bleachers, there are a few dozen teens and birds unconscious on the field and bleachers.
"We want S.H.I.E.L.D. exposed for its barbaric crimes against exceptional humanity. We want everyone to know what you do to people like us. And we want you to stop before you do it to my daughters." My father explains.
"Talking about her?" May speaks up, and our father turns to May and Skye as I walk and stop about ten feet behind my father whilst I concentrate on being invisible.
"You monster." My father says to May angrily. He's the monster.
"May." Coulson says to May confused, not knowing the plan.
"Daisy. What have they done to you?" My father asks her confused.
"We put her and her sister on the index. Now we decide... Contain them or put them down. Your call." May explains.
"Tell me they didn't hurt you." My father takes a step towards May and Skye.
"Talk to me, not her. Now, you let these people go, or your daughter dies." May threatens my father.
"Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I can't lose you again. Don't you see what they do? You've been changed. And it scares the hell out of them. I think it's wonderful. I can help! So, tell me, what's your thing? I mean, I was hoping it was wings." My father rambles.
"Talk to May, not my sister!" I shout, and he looks over in my direction as I turn un-invisible.
"What an extraordinary power-" My father tries to say, but I cut him off.
"Talk to May!" I shout at him.
"You chose him. You threatened to kill me, your own father. You didn't know any better. They raised you. They brainwashed you." My father says to me before he turns back to May "You won't kill her. Though, the truth is, you're capable of such things." He turns to Coulson "That's what I'm trying to teach this whole damn town. I don't even know if they're listening. Maybe they'll listen to you." He takes out a microphone from his right, inner jacket pocket with his left habd and hands it to the man on his right whom has scars across his mouth, and the man takes it with his right hand.
The man then takes a deep breath before a blue, light, shadowy dome surrounds my father, making all of us around it take a step back, and the dome disappears as quickly as it came along with my father.
"End this now!" The Woman from the bleachers shouts.
Coulson then runs to take down the man with the microphone, and May leads Skye to the edge of the field as I stalk towards the other man on the field before turning invisible. The man then looks around confused and I right kick him in the chest, but it barely does any damage as he just takes a step back unaffected. The man then begins to swing punches in thin air, and I high right kick him in the face whilst allowing my power flow through my core and into the kick, making him stumble back a few feet, and I then crouch down and swing my left leg under his feet, making him fall onto his back. Suddenly, he grabs my left ankle and pulls me from under my own feet, making me loose my concentration and fall onto my back and becoming un-invisible at the same time.
The man then stands up and grabs me by the throat with his left hand before running with me until he smacks my back into a battering ram, making me groan in pain as I grab his left wrist with both of my hands, and suddenly the ground begins to shake. Skye. I then use my inner core power to release a serge of energy from inside of me, throwing the man off of me and making him land about twenty feet away as I feel blood trickle from my nose. I then look to Skye to see her stumbling on her feet as the ground stops shaking, and both Coulson and myself run towards her as she collapses to the ground, unconscious.
After getting back at The Playground, Simmons ran tests on Skye's bruised arms and it turns out she fractured her hands and lower arms from creating the earthquake that spread over the Football field, but that she'll be alright and she now has casts on them that will help to minimize the damage. And right now, I am sitting in the cell on The B.U.S. as I watch Skye sleep on her bed and I sit beside her on the bed and wait for her to wake up, and Simmons has pulled up a chair waiting as May and Garner are also standing in the room as they each wait, too. Skye then begins to move her head and squint her eyes open.
"You're awake." I show her a small smile.
"You're probably feeling a little drowsy. We gave you something to help you sleep." Simmons explains as Skye sits up on her bed.
"Why do I have these bruises?" Skye looks at her finger tips as she lifts her hands up.
"I ran some tests. The bruising was caused by capillary ruptures in your arms. X-rays showed more than 75 hairline fractures from your clavicle to your fingers." Simmons explains to her.
"I-I don't understand." Skye says confused,
"You weren't stopping your powers, Skye. You were directing them inward. And when you released all of thar power, you saved me." I explain to her.
"What am I supposed to do?" Skye asks me confused.
"I made the casts from compression microfibers to help contain the shaking, minimize the damage." Simmons explains, but the look on Skye's face shows that she doesn't care about that.
"That's not what she means, Simmons. We'll figure this out, Skye." I tell her and I go to take my right hand in her left hand, but I place it on her left knee instead. Skye then places her head on my chest, and I slowly and carefully hug her encase I hurt her.
