After setting up an exchange with an ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. agent whom has went rogue on selling information about S.H.I.E.L.D. technology and objects founded since the beginning of The S.S.R., Hunter, Hartley and Idaho are doing the exchange with ex-S.HI.EL.D. agent Roger Browning whilst myself and Triplett are in the attic of the meeting place as Skye sneaks into the warehouse unseen.
"We've got ears on them. The package is in the open, boss." Skye tells me over coms.
"Don't engage until the deal's done." I tell her.
"Copy that, boss." Skye assures me.
"You don't need to keep calling me boss, Skye." I tell her as Triplett connects the electronic tablet in his right hand to the micro-camera's we placed inside the warehouse.
"You earned being leader of this team, boss. You can't stop me from calling you that... Boss." Skye explains to me.
"Triplett, we got eyes?" I ask him as I ignore Skye.
"Now we do." Trip tells me as cam footage appears on the electronic tablet he is holding.
We then see Browning with three guards behind him, although he said he'd only bring two, and Hunter, Hartley and Idaho, our guys but also Bounty Hunters, as Browning opens a level 10 classified S.H.I.E.L.D. file that shows something that our security footage can't zoom in on.
"That's what I'm selling. I'm sure you'd like to see some credentials." Browning explains before he shows an old S.H.I.EL.D. I.D. of himself.
"Agent Browning, for ex-S.H.I.E.L.D., you seem awfully indifferent to who we are." Hartley says to Browning.
"What you are is the highest bidder. Whether you're in it for profit or for H.Y.D.R.A., it doesn't concern me, not anymore." Browning explains.
"That's what we want to hear." Hartley says.
"What are they buying from him?" I ask Triplett.
"Intel, not hardware." Trip states before Idaho brings over a briefcase and opens it revealing alot of cash, but before Browning can get to it, Hunter closes the briefcase and leans on the table.
"The mystery I'd like to solve is, why should we be paying you so much? This looks like a box. Sorry... A picture of a box... A picture of a box you don't have." Hunter explains.
"The government has it, along with thousands of other assets they've seized from S.H.I.E.L.D., and they don't know what to make of half of them. I worked in a S.H.I.E.L.D. containment facility that had hundreds of boxes that look just like this. But this is the only one that has a level 10 classified file dedicated to it." Browning explains as he closes the file to show that it is level 10 classified.
"You're selling us a needle in a haystack." Hartley says to Browning.
"Finding the haystack is up to you. I know your reputation. I'm sure you'll be fine. What I don't appreciate is you changing the terms on me now." Browning explains, and I furrow my eyebrows confused.
"We're asking for clarification, Browning. You're the one who changed the terms, bringing more than the two guards we agreed upon." Hartley explains to Browning.
"I only brought two guards." Browning says confused before he turns around to look at the third guard.
The middle guard then elbows the other two guards in the face, knocking them out before snapping Browning's neck. Hunter then fires at the guard with his firearm that he receives from his right holster, but the guard seems unaffected by it so Hartley begins to fire, also. The guard then rips the gun out of Hunters hands before throwing it away, and then pushes Hunter backwards so he tumbles over the table.

"Let's go." I tell Triplett before we make our way down to the floor of the exchange only to see the guard grab the file and jump out of a window.
One of Browning's men then wakes up and stands up with a gun at the ready, but I take out my Night-night gun from my left holster with my left hand and shoot him in the left lung, killing him before he drops to the ground, and Hartley, Idaho and Hunter look at us annoyed.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Hartley asks us.
"Who was that?" Idaho refers to the third guard.
"A third party." I state before I nod my head to Triplett then to the window the guard jumped through, and Triplett heads over to the broken window.
"A party's what you'd call that?" Idaho asks me.
"He's gone. 25-foot drop." Triplett informs me.
"This was supposed to be an undercover operation. You want to explain why you're shadowing us?" Hartley asks me as Skye looks on the ground at metal casings, way to big to be gun casings.
"We were your backup, which you needed." Skye tells them.
"Yeah. So did he." Hunter says as he looks at a dead Browning, and sirens begin to wail in the distance. Hartley then pulls out her cellphone from her rightbjacket pocket with her right hand and begins to ring a number, probably Coulson.
"Sir, Mark's down. Third party, possibly HY.D.R.A., and we're out in the open. What are our orders?" Hartley asks.
"Go dark." I hear Coulson say over my com.
After getting back to The Playground and I carry mine and Fitz' lunch we stopped on the way back for, and my team and Hartley's team are arguing about the previous mission.
"Our black-market contacts were the reason the guy believed we weren't with S.H.I.E.L.D." Hunter explains as we all climb out of the S.H.I.E.L.D. van.
"Coulson knows Hartley. She's the only person on your team he trusts." Skye tells them.
"But why'd you break silhouette protocol?" Hartley asks us.
"He ordered us to." I state.
"We can't maintain solid cover with agents tailing us." Hunter tells us.
"And we can't be sure you won't run off with the money." Skye states.
"Any idea how that freak show found us, Hartley?" Idaho asks her.
"I have a theory." Hunter looks at me.
"Cool it. The man said we were the highest bidder. That means he sent the word out wide." Hartley explains.
"And he paid for that mistake." I comment.
"Yes, he did." Skye says the same time Hunter says "That's an understatement."
We then all scan our Playground I.D.'s on a scanner so we can all get into Playground where we see Mac working on some of our new S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicles.
"Hey Mac." I greet him as we all head to the Kitchen/ Lounge Room, and we see Koenig.
"I know. I know." Hunter says as he knows what Koenig is about to say about debriefing.
"Director wants you for debrief." Koenig says to Hartley's team.
"The feeling is mutual. Throw him up on the big screen. We'll tell him that his enemies have gone bulletproof." Hartley says as she refers to the large TV on the Lounge wall.
"He's in his office." Koenig says, meaning he and May are back from Europe. Hunter then whistles in amazement, as Hartley's team haven't even met Coulson yet.

"Wow." Idaho says in surprise.
"Coulson's here?" Hartley says in surprise.
"Kind of buried the lead there, Bill." Hartley goes to walk to Coulson's office, but Koenig's voice stops her.
"He's talking with just Deputy Director May at the moment." Koenig states.
"Copy that." Hartley states.
"Really? Well, tell him I'd like to voice my opinion, too, on being kept in the dark, 'cause I don't like being left-" Hunter cuts himself off when Koenig leaves "-Out." He finishes his sentence.
"Get used to it." Skye tells Hunter.
"So, the guy was bulletproof, huh? That's sweet. What... Like, protective clothing or..?" Koenig asks us as I pull out a small clear cannister with the large metal bullet castings we found in the warehouse from my belt with my right hand.
"Maybe. We found these metal shards. They broke off with the bullet hits. I'm gonna take it to the lab." I tell them before I begin to leave.
"I'll let Coulson know." Koenig assures me before I leave.
After taking the sample to Fitz, I eat my sub as Fitz talks to his Simmons who helps him cope during his current state, and she helps him finish certain sentences that he struggles with.
"You haven't ate your sub." I say to Fitz as I place my sub onto the plate I am eating over, but he doesn't answer "Fitz?" I ask him.
"Hmm?" Fitz asks me as he looks up at me.
"Your sub is getting cold." I say to him.
"I'll warm it up later." Fitz says before he does a double take and looks back at me "Sandwiches don't need warming up." He says to me confused, before his mind clicks "Oh, it was a joke." He laughs it off lightly before I look in the doorway of the lab to see May, and she looks back at me for confirmation. I then show her a small smile with a curt nod before she walks in.
"Any update on the metal we found?" May asks him, and Fitz turns to greet her.
"Yeah. Yep. Yep. Um, no. Actually, no. I'm just having a bit of trouble identifying the... A bit of trouble... I'm having a bit of trouble identifying the material." Fitz begins to stutter with his words as he refers to a shard from the bulled casing under a microscope.
"Okay." May nods understanding.
"Yeah, so, this is the same lead that we use in our bullets, but there's... There is something... Bleeding. Uh... Uh, okay. That's... Are you... Can you see that?" Fitz asks us confused as the metal begins to bleed and turn into flesh.
"Yeah, I see it." May nods.
"It's blood." I say as I push my sub away, suddenly not feeling hungry.
"Good." Fitz exhales sharply that he isn't seeing things "I mean, that's... What? That's weird." He says.
"Can you figure out whose blood?" May asks him.
"That shouldn't be too hard." Fitz nods, and May turns to me.
"I'll stay and help anyway." I tell her, and she nods before walking away.
After running a DNA analysis and an I.D. to Coulson of who the flesh and blood belonged to, I finish the rest of my sub as Fitz continues to talk to his Simmons.
"Hey." Coulson says as he walks into the lab and says to Fitz, and Fitz turns to acknowledge his appearance.
"Hello, sir." Fitz smiles at him as I place the leftovers of my sub on my plate.
"Can you give us a moment?" Coulson says to Fitz as he refers to myself and Coulson to talk privately.
"We can step outside, Fitz has been really busy in the lab today. He's almost finished the cloaking mechanism, haven't you Fitz?" I ask him.
"Really?" Coulson turns to look at Fitz.
"Oh, uh... Yes, very... Almost ready, sir." Fitz assures him.
"Great, keep up the good work." Coulson tells him before he and myself step outside of the lab.
"Skye's cross-checked the writing from the lab with the new images you've given H.34. Mostly the same, but the code breakers haven't found anything. But I think she's getting close." I explain as I refer to the puzzled images Coulson has given Skye to break.
"That's not why I'm here. The bulletproof assassin you encountered on the sting? We know who he is." Coulson says as he hands me two printed papers with an I.D. of Carl Cree, and that he has a history with H.Y.D.R.A., and I look back up to Coulson to see him giving me a look that I've waiting for.
"You want me to go down there, don't you?" I ask him.
"You're the only one who can." Coulson states.
"Is this really what it takes for you and I to get a one-on-one these days? Why now?" I ask him.
"Because the technology in play warrants it." Coulson tells me.
"... Let's go." I tell him.
As Koenig takes me down to VAULT D, he shows me an electronic tablet and an app that with allow me to control the Inertial Confinement Laser Barrier that keeps Ward contained.
"There's an inertial confinement laser barrier down there, Which is cool. Now this button turns it soundproof. This button makes it opaque." Koenig explains as he hands me the electronic tablet with his right hand and I take it with my right hand, and we reach VAULT D.
"Is there an off button I can accidentally hit?" I put emphasis on the word 'Accidentally'.
"The Director disabled that button before he even told you about going down here." Koenig explains to me.
"Thought he would." I sigh at him.
"Good luck." Koenig says to me.
"It's not me who needs it." I say to him before I enter VAULT D.
After enter VAULT D, I walk down some metal stairs as a small spotlight in the room turns on, and I turn to look at the cell to see a small spot light turning on as Ward raises his right hand above his eyes to block out the light to see me, and with his scruffy hair and beard he looks like a wreck.
"Aren't you a sight for sore eyes." Ward smiles brightly at me, although I just stare back at him emotionless as I sit down on a chair in front of the cell before placing the electronic tablet I am holding on the stand in front of me "I told Coulson weeks ago that I was willing to speak to you, to give you intelligence. Why now? Something bad happen?" He asks me.
"Carl Creel. Garrett reported him dead. Turns out he's alive. Do you have any information on that?" I ask him as I cross my left leg over my right leg.
"How have you been?" Ward asks me instead of answering my question, so I stand up and pick up the electronic tablet and go to leave until he speaks "The name sounds familiar." He says, and I stop walking, but don't turn to him "Do you have a picture?" He asks me.
I then bring up Creel's I.D. on the electronic tablet before walking closer to the cell and holding the electronic tablet up to him, and he steps towards the barrier, but it begins to reflect and crackle with electricity, so he steps back as I look to Ward's right wrist to see a healed scar that I didn't remember seeing on him before, and I lower the electronic tablet form the cell.
"Coulson didn't tell you. I went through a... Rough stretch. First pair of pants they gave me had a... A button on the back. They took that away. But you fold a piece of paper just right, it gets sharp. When they took that away, I started running at the walls." Ward explains before he begins to refer to the light scars that are healing on the right side of his face.
"You should have run faster." I tell him.
"I'm through all that. When I came out of sedation, I was clear-headed, accepting... Of who I am, what I've done, and why." Ward explains to me "Your hair looks nice, it's shorter and blonder." He smiles at me.
"I'm gonna say this once. I'm not gonna believe a word that comes out of your mouth. But if a single word is about anything other than the question that I'm asking, I walk." I explain to him, and he raises both of his hands in surrender.
"Okay." Ward lowers his hands "Creel was a boxer, nicknamed the Crusher. Turns out any opponent has a glass jaw when you have steel fists under your gloves. Garrett thought he'd be an asset. Now, once Creel touches a substance, he can absorb it and somehow consciously transform the molecules of his body into that substance. He wouldn't tell us how, but he enjoys the way it feels... Almost as much as he enjoys killing." He explains to me.
