"Are you going to see him?" Octavia asked, lying next to Lyanna, it was beginning to dawn, it must have been 6 AM, everyone was asleep except Lyanna that when she woke up in front of her tent there was a beutiful orange flower.
"Yeah, you're going to see Linconl?"Lyanna asked.
"Later, when everyone is distracted by Unity Day," her friend replied.
"Unity Day" Lyanna murmured, she had forgotten about it "Finn hates Unity Day, says it's a lie."
"You love Unity Day," Octavia told her.
"Yup, gives hope, or that's what I tell Finn before he comes with a huge debate as to how they flew the station." Lyanna put on the hood of the red cloak and took the orange flower from Octavia's hands.
"Lincoln uses the white flowers, they're pretty."Octavia said
"Neon just told me, follow the orange flowers, by the way, can you please cover me? If someone asks for me, make up any excuse."
"What if Bellamy asks for you?" Octavia said, eyebrows raised, she already knew Bellamy liked Lyanna, only he did not know. Lyanna sighed.
"Lie to him too, even to Finn, if they realize that we are seeing Lincoln or Neon, Bellamy will not hesitate to follow us."
"Be careful," Octavia said, Lyanna nodded and left. She breathed in the cool, icy air of the morning, saw to her right and to her left and seeing no one, she saw an orange flower on the tree to her left, she smiled, and when she got it, she picked it up.
The last flower was in a tree, Lyanna took her, the road had been so long that she already had a ship of orange flowers in the hand, the girl was in front of a small river and seated in the border distinguished a redheaded head.
"Neon?" Lyanna asked, approaching carefully. The boy turned and saw Lyanna walk over to him and grab her by the shoulders, inspecting her.

"I'm fine, nobody saw me, and you?" Lyanna asked him with a sweet smile
"No, no one"
"I'm asking you how you are," Lyanna said, sitting down beside him.
"I'm fine, Lyanna."
"Don't tell me Lyanna, tell me Lya, now can you answer any of my questions?"
Neon nodded
"Why did you save me? You could have left me lying, but you didn't, Lincoln said I looked like someone, and you and he mentioned someone called Talissa, can you explain?"
Neon sighed and stroked a blond hair of the girl.
"Talissa is my sister"
"Where is your sister?"
Neon said nothing, stared at the dawn without blinking and then under the view of the water that ran beneath them, a grimace formed in his mouth, Lyanna when she realized by his silence, gave him a hug, Neon was petrified to the show of affection, he froze for a few seconds without knowing what to do, all he did was patting Lyanna's back.
"I'm so sorry," said the girl.
"Okay, that's why I save you, you're just like her, same hair, same eyes, same character."
Neon's eyes softened with every word he said.
"Same character?"
"Lincoln told me, as you cried and begged your leader to stop torturing him, you screamed and fell to his knees, wiped his face and asked him about me. Talissa was the same, she was maternal, sweet, and protective, innocent." He said with a spark in his eyes.
"How did she ... die?"
"She was younger than you, she was 12, and a fever came, touched her, our healer could not do anything, she suffered a week until death took her."
Lyanna pursed her lips, she respected death, death was the only god to Lyanna, and sometimes the gods were cruel, so cruel to take a 12-year-old girl. Neon had told her something personal, Neon had become her friend and he was not of the Ark, he didn't know what Lyanna had done and what had happened.

"I killed my mother," Lyanna confessed, Neon did not look at her horrified or confused as others looked at her when she said it out loud, he looked at her with comprehension "she was never good to me ... she sold me"
"She sold you?" Neon asked without understanding.
"It all started when I was 7 years old, my mother arrived with a camera and my grandmother who took care of me; was dead, she started taking pictures of me, photos that I never saw, but others watched and paid, then at age 9 she left me one night with a man, he told me not to shout, not to say anything, to keep quiet or they would kill us both and the worst thing is that I remember every detail of that night. Every single detail, just like the other night that came" at that point Lyanna didn't know how she wasn't crying.
Neon put a hand on her shoulder, hearing the voice of Lyanna slowly breaking.
"You did what you did to survive, I understand."
"But my people did not, they locked me up and made me a prisoner"Lyanna said bitterly.
Neon frowned as he listened.
"They punished you for getting rid of that monster? your people are very stupid."
Lyanna chuckled
"Thank you Neon, now let our past for a while, yes? What is that place you were talking about last time?
In the few times Lyanna and Neon could see, Lyanna could see into him, a friend, a brother, a protector, and Neon saw within Lyanna the spirit of his sister, that sweet and innocent soul, which Lyanna also possessed. After going to visit a field of orange flowers, with which Lyanna was delighted, Neon taught her a little of his language.
"Ai Laik Liena kom Skaikru?"
Neon nodded
"Does any of your people know that we are friends?"
"They suspect, our people begins to think that we are traitors, the war was declared when your leader tortured to Lincoln, when they fired those fires."
"We did not want to do ...."
"I know, I know you have no intention of war, but your leader wants a fight.
"Bellamy is not a bad guy ... he's my friend, but he's a bit ... violent? All he does is protect us."
"That man is your friend?" Neon asked, unable to believe it, Lyanna was so sweet and the man Lincoln had described to him.... Neon simply could not believe it.
"He has helped me and saved my life, he is a good person."
Neon grunted, took something out of his pocket and held it out to Lyanna.
"It was my sister's, I want you to have it, for her this symbolized peace" Neon took Lyanna's wrist and put the leather bracelet with pieces of tied glass that were tiled and lit thanks to the sunlight, green and Blue" and you, my friend, are peace in itself."
Lyanna shook her head.
"This is your sister's, you must have it."
"My sister is not in a piece of leather that she made, she's with me."
"I'm sorry, I have nothing to give you"
"Okay, what if you could give me, is the opportunity to teach you to shoot this," he said with a bow.
Lyanna opened her mouth fascinated, in the books that her father read as well as rifles, shotguns and all kinds of firearms, there were also the bows.
"Nymeria used a bow" Lyanan said, taking the bow of Neon.
"Nymeria?" He asked.
"It's a story, a warrior queen," Lyanna said, taking up the bow, it was beautiful, it was made of wood and it had carved arrows and the head of a fox besides what looked like letters "My father told me the stories of her."
"You could tell me the stories that count in the sky some day, but today we are going to shoot."
"But why not? We have all day! "She said excitedly.
"At some point I have to go back to my people and you have to go back to yours"
