《Home | The Originals》Chapter 102: Take Back the Power

Idk who will see this or if anyone is following but I am back to completely finish this story. The last chapter before this I unpublished it. I didn't delete but I have a new ending to this story that should reveal itself in Legacies. So stay tune for that.
~~~
I stood alone at the docks after the funeral for Hayley. I feel a spell being casted on me which gave me a headache as it wasn't strong to begin with, but it kept getting stronger. What the hell? I held my held for a bit as I try to fight it but I couldn't and I passed out. My body falling forward in the water.
~~~
I gasp as I look at my surrounding and I can feel myself falling until I hit something with glass. "Ugh." I groan in pain and roll off my back. I slowly get up and see I'm inside the Compound. "What the bloody hell?" I say out loud.
"Nix?"
I look towards the voice and see Nik and Bekah who is in a red dress staring at me. I feel someone behind me and look over and saw Kol butt baked. "Kol!" I regretfully looked down and quickly looked back up. "Please go fund some clothes." I ordered him and he laughs as he went to go do what I said.
Clear thoughts, clear thoughts, clear thoughts, why is he so big? Wait! Oh no! Every men in this family is just packing I guess.
Rebekah laughs at me and grabs a wine bottle to open it. "I was in Corsica, drowning my sorrows about Hayley, when," she pops the top open and pours herself a glass, "I suddenly dropped." Nothing came out the bottle. "What I wouldn't give to spend just a decade without being dragged into a godforsaken Chambre de Chasse."
"I was grieving alone on the dock before I was transferred here. Whoever it is, could've landed me in a bed and not a glass table. My body could be drowning right." I said.
Kol finally returns with pants on and he is putting a shirt on as we speak. "Suppose you were in a board meeting." Klaus joked about Kol.
Kol sarcastically smiled at him. "I was waiting for my wife to come home from work. Once again, ripped from complete contentment for....this. Suppose I'll ask the obvious: Piss off any witches lately?" He asked Klaus.
"Actually, my current enemies are a group of hatemongers who see myself, Nix, and our kids as abominations to the vampire race." Klaus explained.
"The bigoted undead. That's new. They must have a witch-for-hire." Rebekah says.
"Yeah, a very old witch that has every detail of our home down to the T." I say.
"She's right. This is Elijah's prized Cheval Blanc." Kol agreed with me.
"The culprit may be closer to home. A witch who knows the compound well and who doesn't trust you to stay away from Elijah." We turn and see Freya coming down the stairs. "Someone who would risk everything to save New Orleans from plagues."

"Vincent." Klaus answers.
"On the bright side, he'd never harm Hope. You on the other hand, I expect he'll be shipping your bodies to the four corners of the world." Freya says.
A look of shock appears on Rebekah's face. "All of our bodies?"
"You guys might want to see this!" Kol shouts. We follow after him and see this white door with 5 locks on it.
"I guess this is the way out." Beks say.
"We better get started on finding our keys, then." I speak up and we all separate.
~~~
I stood with Freya, Rebekah as we come up empty with our search. I watch as Nik look at his family crest that's on the wall. He grabs a metal stick and smashes it only to get no key. "Nik." I call out and he finally stops smashing the crest.
"I think we've established that there's no key in the crest." Freya says.
"The thing was a relic anyway."
I hear magic and someone grunting so I turn around to see Marcel on his knees with blood on his forehead. "Marcel." Rebekah greets him.
"Damn it!" He yells and gets back on his feet. "I got to go now."
"Hey!" Klaus quickly got in front of Marcel and pushed him back from the locked exit. "What game is Vincent playing?" He asked.
"This has nothing to do with Vincent." Marcel says and moves pass Klaus to the door. "We got to get out of here. The city is about to be wash away. They're out of their damn mind."
Klaus grabs his arm stopping him again. "Who, Marcel?! Who put you here?!" He demanded.
"It was Hope. Hope and your seven other kids are responsible for all of this." Marcel answers.
~~~
Marcel finally sits down as he explains to us what's been happening in our reality. I've been pacing back and forth since then. "Ivy was telling Vincent and me all about the latest prophecy when a hurricane showed up off the coast out of no where."
"A monsoon from the waters is the final curse before the first born die." Freya informs him.
Rebekah walks over to the two and hands Marcel a towel to wipe off the blood. He takes it and wipes his face. "I went to go find you guys. The kids was at St. Anne's. They have Klaus and Phoenix's bodies laid out on the floor. They're gathering up all of you so Hope can take back the power that's been split up inside of you." Marcel explains.
"She can't do that." Klaus says.
"My sisters magic will corrupt her. That was the whole point of putting her magic in each of us and for me to be daggered." I ranted angrily.
"They threw me in here when I tried to stop them. I can't leave until you guys find your keys." Marcel says.
"Well, she can't find my body. It's halfway across the world." Rebekah says as good news.
"She has help." Klaus says. "I created hybrids with her blood; they're sired to her, no doubt the other seven are the same exact way. They'll do anything that she asks. She'll take the power back. She'll end the curses, she'll keep the firstborns safe, and then my daughter as we know her will be forever lost to darkness."

I pace more faster. "Idiots, my kids are bloody idiots, all of them.
~~~
I see and Kol speed walking pass me. "What's wrong with you?" I asked him. "The kids didn't create the Chambre de Chasse. Freya did. A music room which the kids would have never seen is here. It was destroyed centuries ago. The only person that I brought into that room is Freya." He tells me and keeps walking.
"How dare she." I look above me and see Klaus frozen over the balcony. Once he gotten over his shock we follow him to where our sisters were at. It looks like Kol already spoken to her from the way she looked nervous.
"Freya," lightening flash through the windows and it cut the lights off, "what have you done?"
Freya quickly left the room but not without me and Klaus following after her. Why did she help them out us here?
"Would you like to explain to us why you are helping our kids?" I asked her.
"They asked for my help." She says as we walk down the stairs.
"So you decided to lend a hand in their destruction? The plagues are nearing their end. All it would take is one more meeting between you to end it all; something needed to be done."
"You could have daggered me and shipped me in the ocean or something like Aurora did to Rebekah." I said.
"I was leaving New Orleans when you struck me down."
"Who's to say you wouldn't be weak again? Test the limits to lay your eyes on Hope and the kids or take a peak on how Nix was doing in her box?"
Klaus grabbed her arm turning her around to face us. "Don't put this on me! I was trying to protect her. Perhaps I was wrong to have faith in you. Maybe your obligations to family were infringed upon by other plans. Jerkin's back, isn't she?"
"Okay, that's enough." I shout. He went a bit far. I turn to Freya. "You shouldn't have helped them Freya. Having all of us near each other will only put them more in danger."
"I understand you guys wanting to protect them but that is not what they need right now." Freya says.
"I'm their father! We are their parents! We decide what is and what's not best for them." Klaus shouted at her.
"Oh, really? Because while you were gone and Nix was daggered, I was here, with Hayley. The kids did everything we ever asked of them. The one time the kids acted out, it was because they missed their dad." I put my head down and stared at the floor. "You want to see what they do with a lifetime of missing both their parents? We have to let them make their own choices."
"They're just children." Klaus rebuttals with a defeated tone.
"Their childhood ended three days ago, when Hayley died. And as long as that magic is inside of you both, they're as good as orphaned. Look, we've all done dangerous things for family, and we've seen each other through it. Now it's their turn."
"Freya, please. You have to stop them. I don't want that for my kids." I cried.
"No." She steps back and teleports out of here. Her lock on the door is gone as well.
~~~
I sat in the attic as I go through boxes. Mostly my stuff since, but it's all junk at the end of the day. I come across one of my many crowns I've wore centuries ago.
I smile as I remember I was crowned the queen of the Russia while I was in France hanging out with Mary Stuart as I watch her marry Francis.
I flip the crown over and see a key taped on the inside. Bingo. I take my key and head to the door. Everyone had already found theirs and unlocked their locks. "I got my key." I said happily ignoring the drizzle inside our home.
As soon as my key touched my lock I was blasted away from it. I landed on my back in pain. Nik, Marcel, Beks, and Kol all rushed to me. "What the bloody hell was that?" I asked as it starts to rain.
As soon as I got back on my feet. My heart felt like it was being crushed. I double over in pain with the rest of them, except for Marcel. "Hope is taking the power from us. There's no stopping it." Kol says.
We all fell to our knees across from each other and blue magic of the Hollow comes out our chest and in the center of the four of us. I feel the energy be taken from me before it ultimately disappear and I'm left on the ground passed out.
~~~
We wake up after a couple of minutes. "They are so grounded when I get to them." I say and Klaus helps me off the floor.
"Let's be done with kids metaphors, shall we?" Klaus says and I finally open my lock and the doors snaps open.
We walk through the door only to enter a long white hallway. "Oh, bloody hell. Now we're in Elijah's mental maze. Oh all the hells I've had to endure." Kol says once he recognizes our surroundings. I wasn't going to say but I'm glad he did. "If you don't mind," he points to a door that has his first initial on it, "I have somewhere else to be." He walks through his door and it closes behind him.
I look to my left and see my door that was the letter P on it. I looked at Rebekah, Marcel, and Nik. "See you guys on the other side I guess." I twist the door knob and opened my door.
