I sat in a empty room at the Compound. All the kids ended up going back to Virginia and I haven't really seen anyone since Hayley's death. I took a part of the Hollow out of Klaus so now my sister can be seen but she can't really interact with anyone like her magic does when one of us gets close to another.

I took my final gulp of whiskey as I sit in my chair. I wish I did more, I should have did more. I hesitated when she stared at me letting me know this was what she was going to do and wasn't going to change it.

A thousand year old witch vampire hybrid can't even save her best friend. Some supernatural I am.

"Hi Hayley Marshall, the pregnant werewolf" Hayley said as she held her hand out for Phoenix to shake.

"Phoenix Fire, your babysitter." Phoenix took Hayley's hand and shook it. She then introduces her baby. "This sleeping baby is Angel Fire."

"She's beautiful."

I wipe my tears away and poured myself another drink of whiskey. My phone ringed and I hesitated to answer it. "What?" I said not really in the socializing mood today or for the rest of my immortal years.

"Hello to you you sunshine." Marcel said in response of my greeting. "I have some information that I know will ease your revenge."

"I don't know what you been doing for the last 7 years I was daggered Marcellus, but Klaus pretty much killed all of my enemies without me and Greta is extremely lucky I'm not dead as well and in the pits of hell that she is currently is in. And let's not forget I killed Roman and the bloody witch with no remorse mind you, so whatever you want to tell me save it. I am currently babying a bottle of whiskey since killing people in the city will bring me unwanted attention." I ranted and then took a sip.

"Then Greta's daughter will continue living in New Orleans bringing in more Hollow worshippers in town, talk to you later." Marcel said.

Huh? I thought Roman was the last. I haven't wiped out an entire family in a while. "You know what, Marcel, after being dedicated for 7 years I'm pretty thirsty and it's starting to catch up with me."

I heard him laugh at my little excuse. "I'll send in some friends as well." He told me and I couldn't help but smile. "Give them hell." He said softly before hanging up the phone.

The elevator doors open and I see Antoinette standing in the hallway with some vampire. Klaus had broke his neck and I camp speed to Antoinette in surprise and bit into her neck giving her my venom.

I let go her and she dropped to the floor in tears. "Remove them from our city." Klaus said the vampires that came with us.

"She can wither away just like Hayley." I added as Antoinette looks up at me and then finally I snapped her neck.

Me and Klaus were in the bayou together. I can't be next to Hope at the moment and Klaus doesn't want to go without me and he is still wary about meeting his kids after their last conversation.

"Remember, we can't touch our kids while we're doing this so avoid physical comfort, okay?" I reminded Nik.

"Just don't overwhelm yourself by doing this." Nik said as he brushed a piece of hair out of my face.

I nodded my head and then held my hands out. "Now, hold my hands and don't let go." I asked and he did just that so we can be at our best friends funeral.

Me and Nik spawned on a sidewalk and we saw Hayley's casket roll past us. We looked around to see the kids looking distraught at everyone so we walked over to them.

"What's the problem?" I asked as soon as we reached them.

They all turned around to face us and Dove and Henrik are the only people that had a smile on their face when they saw us. The rest looked more troubled.

They tried to touch us but my body tensed and I pulled me and Nik away. It didn't go unnoticed by the kids but they know the situation.

"None of mom's friends are here. Just of bunch of people who didn't even know who she really is." Hope said as she looks all around her.

Nik looked at me hoping I would say something since he is not really that experience in this situation that we're in. "I don't have an answer to why the rest of Hayley's friends are here. Right now I'm kinda hoping her pack will be at the burial but that's wishful thinking. What I do know is that this city loved Hayley. They may not know her on a personal level since she spends her time protecting this family and keeping a peace but what they do know is that she is a woman of her words and she believed in what is right for every supernatural. Your mom died a legend and she will stay like that forever." I said and that brought a smile to Hope's face.

Our moment was brought to an end when two black vans hatchet stopped in front of the parade. Josh walked over to one van and pulled back the curtains hiding inside only to reveal three vampires in black clothing just sitting their.

They exchanged a few words before the guy in the middle removed the black silk blanket revealing crossbows with three wooden staked arrows on both weapons. I looked over at Nik and saw him disappear.

Nik let go of my hands. "I need to go. I have to protect our kids." He ranted and stomped his way to his car.

"Please hurry? I'm not sure what will happen." I told him and he got in the driver side and pulled off like every person that drives angry. I went back to the spell and spawned exactly where I stood.

"Where did you go? And where is dad?" Hunter asked me. More like demanded but I'll let that go for now.

"Your father is on his way here." I said just as Nik arrived with us. "Let's move out of the way." I suggested but Angel shocked her head.

"No, this funeral already sucks enough and they're not about to ruin it." She said and then used her magic to force me and Nik to the sidewalks.

Angel slowly walked to the other van and and started chanting her magic. "Bruciare supe terram, faciendo ignis ga praemium." The van exploded and went up in flames and the crowd was shocked as they moved away and watch.

Angel turned around causing her siblings to turn around to stare at the final van. They all raised their hands and chanted together.

A part of me is worried about their safety but another is very proud of much they have grown and to see them working together should have put a smile on my face but that doesn't mean I'm okay with them putting themselves in danger.

"Weapons up." I heard the leader yell from the van.

"Josh!" Freya screamed out and him and Nik speed to get the kids out of the streets.

A gun went off as they did and I see it graze Maddox arms and he cries out in pain. My eyes turn black as I step out into the streets.

"Their here to kill your kids, they all are. What are you going to do about that sister?" Inadu said as I continue to stare at the van.

The guy in the middle saw me standing there and he smiled at me. His smirk quickly went away when I made fire appear in my hands and the look of fear can be seen in his eyes. "Lets get out of here." He said and they quickly drive off.

I started walking towards them but I felt someone wrap an arm around me. "Love, I need you to control yourself." A voice said but I barely recognize it.

"Deep down you know people don't like different. Eventually everyone will want to kill your kids for being tribrids. Are you going to allow that?" Inadu said.

I tried to walk away from whoever is holding me but they tighten their grip and I see them step out in front of me, but their face was hidden by some shadow.

"Our family needs us. Fight whatever this is controlling you." The person said but I just ignore it. "Come back to me." He whispered. Their face start to clear up and I can recognize who this person is.

"Nik?" I whispered out. The kids were walking up to us in my peripheral view but stayed a good distance. I smiled at him before blood starts to trickle out of my nose and ears. Nik smile disappeared as he watched me bleed.

"Mom?" Nicholas yelled out in panic.

The feeling in my legs start to give way and I start to fall. Nik tried to catch me but I went through his hands and then I closed my eyes.

I was in the bayou standing in front of a tree while the werewolves were preparing for the ceremony. I had a knife in my hand as I was done carving out Hayley's name that was below Jackson's who was below Mary.

"Despite everything we went through together,"

"And who the bloody hell do you think you are trying to take my children away from me!" Phoenix yelled at her angrily.

"I just wanted to keep them safe." Hayley said as sincere as she could hoping Phoenix could see that her intentions were good.

Phoenix sped to her and kept throwing punches at Hayley, but she dodged all of them. Phoenix kick her leg out forcing her on one knee. She grab Hayley by her neck then threw her onto her back and kept holding her down as she struggles to get her off.

"You are not their mother! You don't get to decide what is best for them. That is my decision to make and I am powerful enough to take care of them on my own if need be." Phoenix yelled at her once their fight hit a pause.

"You can't protect them if your are out there trying to help kill Dahlia." Hayley said.

"That's why I made the necklaces for. So that if they were ever in any danger it would protect them and it would alert me. They're just like Angel's necklace after her own father tried to kill her."

Hayley didn't say anything after that. She thrusted her head at Phoenix but that failed. It felt like a baby kitten trying to learn how to bite with no teeth in their mouth. Phoenix smirked at Hayley then did the exact same thing only this time it was extremely effective. Hayley lays back into the dirt staring up at the sky for a while disoriented.

Phoenix grabbed Hayley by her jacket and threw her towards where Jackson and Klaus were fighting at. She coincidentally landed right next to Jackson after he too gets thrown by Klaus.

"I am proud to call you my best friend,"

I look at Hayley. "So you really going to give birth in a swamp?" I asked her.

She lets out a laugh before shaking her head. "Of course not. As nice as the werewolves are, I don't plan giving birth out in the open." Hayley said.

"Well, when you do give birth, I will be forcing our child's to be the best of friends." I said with a huge smile on my face.

"Yeah, and then you'll get pregnant again and my daughter will have a half sibling and more in the future." Hayley said.

I raised my eyebrow. "What makes you think Nik is going to get me pregnant again?" I asked her.

"Can you honestly say that you and Klaus haven't been in each other's bed every night since you guys started dating?" Hayley asked me. I looked down shamelessly because we have been in bed together every night. "Right, and since then, how many times has he pulled out?" She asked and my whole face fell. Nik never pulls out.

Hayley smiles at me in victory. "I expect your next child to be named after me." She told me. I flipped her off making her laugh and we switched topics because she was getting uncomfortable with me and Klaus sex life.

"I could have save you. But you just had to be the hero and sacrifice yourself. You left me in this world and the only thing I can do is make sure that nothing happens to your daughter." I said and wipe the lone tear that escaped my eye. I pulled my phone out and booked a ticket.

Everyone was at the docks in the bayou. My real body was on a plane, but I used the spell again so I can be here at the funeral while I go find my soon to be sister and brother in laws.

My family hasn't really noticed I was here except for Freya since she was about to give a speech.

"People will forget the things you said, forget the things you did, but no one ever forgets the way you made them feel. Hayley Marshall made me feel like I was part of a family. And when the realities of this life became too much to bear, we shouldered them together. We laughed, we cried. When I failed, she lifted me up. And when I succeeded, she danced by my side."

I walked over to stand by Freya. "Hayley was there to help everyone in need. She put our problems before hers,"

"Jackson and I have our own place now." Hayley said with a bright smile. "Although we still can't mange you stay out of Mikaelson drama."

"You don't seem to mind the family drama when you need something from us. Like, a decent dress, or a babysitter." I said not liking how she used this family for little things and thinks it's okay to not help at all.

"Excuse me?" Hayley said uncomfortable with my tone of voice.

"Hayley is part of the family, Nix. What has gotten into you?" Rebekah asked me but I ignored her as I stare Hayley down.

"But when your looking for someone to blame for your unhappiness, we seem to be the enemy." I said.

"Phoenix, you're wrong. This isn't you." Hayley said thinking it's the hex that making me talk like this but it's not. She always blame others for her misfortune when it's her actions that causes it.

"I am wrong. I believed we were friends. Nearly sisters. But the last memeory we had as friends you were planning to take Hope and my children away from me and this family forever. So where do you stand, Hayley? Are you a friend? Are you family? Or perhaps..." I vamp speed Hayley into a wall hard making it crack behind her. I held her against it by her neck as she chokes, "You've been a foe all along." I stated. "Be honest, you want Klaus dead, don't you?" I asked her

Rebekah sped to me and shoved me off of Hayley. Hayley took a deep breath as she was finally allowed air again. "Phoenix, I have been busting my ass trying to fight this prophecy. At the expense of my own family." Hayley said.

I scoff with a smile on my face. "You mean that fake husband you've been parading around in front of Elijah? Do you know the agony it causes him? Perhaps you like it. Knowing you still have the power to break his heart." I taunted.

Hayley out of anger slaps me. I take a step back as I laugh at her weak excuse of a slap. "You're wrong. It kills me to hurt him." Hayley said.

"Oh, it hasn't yet, love. But it might today. You tore those brothers apart. If they turn on each, as the prophecy suggests, it's because of you." I said as I let my hybrid face out in the end.

I went to attack Hayley but Rebekah got in my way. She put up a good fight but I snapped her neck and dropped her body on the floor. I speed over to Hayley and used all my strength to push her out the door making the window in the door break.

I pushed us to the railings and the both of us tipped over and fell to the first floor. I got up shaking in anger and stood up in front of Hayley again. She snarls at me but I kicked her in her abdomen making her groan as she bends over. Then I back hand her hard and she fell to the ground rolling away.

She is still down and I speed to her so I can rip her heart out but Elijah got in my way as he grabs hold of me. "Listen to me. Listen to me! Phoenix! Look at me. Phoenix!" Elijah yells at me and I finally stop trying to get out of his hold. "Control yourself." He scolded.

I close my eyes as I fake that the hex is gone now. "I think it's gone for now. I got my control back." I said then I put my head down a little to hide my eyes.

"Good." He whispered and I felt him loosen up on me.

I quickly break free and uppercut Elijah making his neck snap in a weird way.

I look back at Hayley as she walks to me. I ran at her with a battle cry and quickly shove my hand inside her chest and I grip her heart.

Hayley screams in pain as she stares into my black sclera eyes. "Phoenix!" I hear Klaus yell as he walks into the Compound. He speeds over to me and grabs my wrist. "Not her." He told me and he pulls my hand out of Hayley's chest.

I see Rebekah come down after recovering from her neck being snapped. I yell as I try to get her but Klaus just pulls me back. "Not her either." He said.

"She did it for all of us. No one will ever be able to replace her, or heal this pain we feel at her loss. But we can honor her and do right in her beliefs with our actions and with our words. We can love each other the way she wanted us to love." I glanced at my kids.

I turned around and watch as the werewolf toss a torch on the boat and pushed it away from the dock.

I don't hate Hayley anymore. A few decisions she made maybe but I don't deeply hate her. After binge watching this show I'm just want her to magically come back to life like why?
