Me and Rebekah walk in the room to see Elijah and Klaus, sitting across from each other reading a book with a dead body sitting on the table between them. "Is this some type of reunion you guys do every time a dagger is taken out of your chest?" I asked Rebekah.
"Is this some vampire book club?" Rebekah asked her two brothers.
"Reading edifies the mind, sister. Isn't that right, Elijah?" Klaus asked his brother taking his eyes off the book he was reading to stare at said person.
"Yes. That's quite right, Niklaus." Elijah agreed not taking his eyes off the book he is reading.
"So why is there a body here?" I asked them.
"This is a peace offering." Elijah said waving his hand at the corpse like he is brushing off Klaus attempts at gaining forgiveness.
"I presumed, after so much time desiccating in a coffin, that my big brother might be a bit peckish." Klaus said reading his book but still has the audacity to smile innocently.
"So I explained to my little brother that forgiveness cannot be bought. I'd simply prefer to see a change in behavior that indicates contrition and personal growth," Elijah looks up from his book and points at the body, "not this nonsense."
"I couldn't very well let her go to waste, could I?" Klaus said and it was silent after that.
"Well, since Elijah doesn't want what you call a peace offering, can I eat her? I haven't fed since you recruited me to protect Hayley and ever since then, things have been more painful than it should be," I asked looking down at Klaus and he nodded his head. "Thanks, Nik." I said then sped over to the body then outside the house.

Once I was done I walk back inside the house to see Elijah in his was out with Nik soon after. "Oh, before you leave." I said causing the two brothers to stop. I vamp speed to my room and right back in front of them holding on to my grimoire. "This is my grimoire. I would come with you to help Davina control her magic, but I have a daughter to take care of." I put the book in his hands. "You can give this to her before or after Davina unlinked Sophie from Hayley." I told Elijah smiling before I left them there in the hallway.
