Me and Klaus we're sitting in one of his many rooms across each other. Angel had woke up not to long ago grabbing at my breast, letting me know she was hungry so I breast fed her with a blanket covering my goods so Klaus doesn't see anything. "I need your help." He said breaking the silence between us. I raised my eyebrow at him so he can explain what he needs from me. "I have a pregnant werewolf here somewhere in the house. I would like if you would protect her." He said.
"A werewolf that can't protect herself?" I repeated and he nodded his head.
"A witch, Sophie Deveraux, is linked to my pregnant baby mother, and is demanding me to get rid of Marcel or she will kill herself and my child as well." He explained more and that just got me even more mad.
"I'll help you protect her. And if I can I'll find a way to break the link between them." I said making Klaus smile happily at me.
"What is your relationship between the witches?" He asked taking a sip of his bourbon.
"After what you have told me, it's non existent. Almost killed them after I learned what they been doing in secret." I said.
"Klaus, get out here and tell me what you've done with our brother, you narcissistic, back-stabbing wanker!" I heard this female voice say cutting Klaus off before he could speak again. He sighed getting up and walking towards the person shouting behind the doors.
I looked down at Angel to see she fell asleep again. I covered my self up and walked behind Klaus to see who was yelling. Yes I'm nosy, get over it.
"Enough with all the shouting. Little sister. I should have known. I assume the 6 dead vampire were your doing." Klaus said walking towards her.

"They were very rude...trying to victimize a poor, innocent girl just trying to find her way to the quarter. So sorry. Were they friends of yours? Oh, that's right. You don't have any friends. And who is this?" She mocked him then looked at me when she said her last sentence.
"Phoenix Fire." I held my hand out for her to shake but she just stares at it before I dropped it. "And this is my daughter Angel." I looked down at the sleeping baby in my hands. I turned back to Klaus who looked unamused by his sister mocking him. "I'm gonna leave you to it while I find myself a room to sleep in." I told him and just before I walked out the door. "I'm so glad I'm an only child because I'll end up killing my siblings if they treat me like that." I said leaving a smiling hybrid and a glaring original staring at me. I walk up the stairs and stopped to see a brunette sitting their listening in their conversation and then she realized I was in front of her.
"Hi, Hayley Marshall, the pregnant werewolf." She held her hand out to me and I took it. "Phoenix Fire, your babysitter." I greeted before looking down. "And this is Angel my daughter."
"She's beautiful." Hayley complimented making me smile.
"Thank you." I said before silently letting out a yawn. "Well, it was nice meeting you Hayley but I'm going to go to sleep before she wakes up again." I said and she waved goodbye at me as I head up the stairs and taking a random room

Sexy Sect Babes
“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.

Tales of Ordinary, Completely Unremarkable Contractors
"Where life had no value, death, sometimes, had its price. That is why the mercenaries appeared." - Artur Xerxes, in A Century of Disappointment: Memoirs of a Travelling Dwarf It's never too difficult to land contracts for a set very specialised skills in a continent teeming with werewolves, vampires, giant leopards, undead and, god forbid, elves. The difficulty comes when these contractors find themselves suffocated in the dense atmosphere of this world's rigid - and mostly unfair - rules; death, suffering and misfortune await those unwilling to sacrifice to bend these in their favour. In this non-linear plot, you will observe a scarred and deformed farm girl cashing her first bounty posters, a seemingly ordinary barmaid at a tavern in the bustling centre of a sprawling, corrupt city and an enigmatic leader of a firm specialising in dealings any other would consider suicidal. Watch them all take everything to the next level at every available opportunity, and then feel dread at the thought that this still might not be enough to halt the physical embodiment of doom about to do what it does best Please, feel free to review and comment! Any sort of feedback can help me become a better writer and write more engaging stories for you. I used to update once every 3-5 days, but this rewrite is taking much too long...I do hope it will be worth it.
