I really need to come up with better chapter Names. Also sorry I ditched it for Ages.
Back at the bar, the clones were bickering.
"aaaaaand there's the half an hour mark!" Hardcase shouted like he was the host on a game show, "don't tell me it's not weird they went back early!"
"yeah I swear to force the captain has a thing for the general." Jesse joked with him.
"ooooh the conspiracy theory's" Hardcase replied.
"guys I don't think it's funny." Kix looked serious, "I'm seriously thinking now they are seeing eachother."
"well that's clear." Jesse joked, "they've seen eachother for years!"
"No not that way you Di'kut!" Kix rolled his eyes, "I mean actually girlfriend and boyfriend seeing eachother."
'someone had to pull the loth cat out of the bag'
This caused a long silence between the seven of them.
"The general and the captain?" dogma finally gaped, "but that's against the rules."
"yeah," tup agreed with him, "Rex doesn't seem like the one to disregard the rules."
"oh come on!" Kix glared at them, "for me it's getting too obvious,"
He threw Tup a look, 'and you haven't broken the rules before?'
Tup knew this look and quickly shut up.
Throughout this conversation fives and echo seemed to remain strangely silent- like they weren't aware this conversation was taking place.
"and those two know something about it!"
'sh*t'
Fives and echo still didn't respond.
Kix had had enough.
"actually, I'm going to call them now."
He went to reach for his data pad but it wasn't there.
"dam! Left it back at the apartment."
They hoped that that would be the end of it but who were they kidding. One thing about medics.

They are kriffing relentless.
"I'm going back to get it." he said getting up, a look of pure determination on his face.
Jesse got up as well, "I'll come with you." and with that they left.
Fives looked at Echo, if they said anything now Rex and (y/n) would be screwed. Fives quickly tapped a button on his watch and hoped for the best.
From the apartment Rex's watch started beeping and flashing red. But he couldn't hear it. He was out.
Kix and Jesse were almost back at the apartment. Jesse's flip flops got stuck on a tree and broke so he was walking back bare foot.
"You don't Seriously think they are do you?" Jesse asked, half jumping around because of the burning hot floor.
"only one way to find out." he replied.
This medic was on a kriffing war path.
They got to the apartment door and quickly unlocked it.
"I'm sure it can't be that baaaaaaaad."
Jesse stopped mid sentence when the pair of them looked round to see Rex asleep on the couch with none other than a sleeping (y/n) in his arms.
"I knew it! I kriffing knew it!"
Half a minute later Rex's eyes flickered open. In his daze he saw a blurred Kix and a waving Jesse. Where in kriff was-
'Crap'
He knew exactly where he was.
On leave.
In the apartment.
On the couch.
With the general.
Hugging her...
"Hi Captain." Jesse waved with a smile beaming across his face.
Nobody knew how (y/n) wasn't waking up
(plot convenience if you as me).
"eerm,"
"Rex you can't explain yourself out of it we know your going out with her." Kix said.
Rex didn't know what to say. He might have looked cool on the outside but on the inside he wassa freakin out!

"don't panic we aren't going to tell anybody." Jesse joked, as if reading the captains mind, "its not like everyone apart from Dogma has figured it out yet."
Rex was about to give a retort to that remark but the beeping at Rex's wrist became very apparent. He looked over (y/n) to see his watch flashing red.
"and that will be fives and echo trying to warn you that we were coming." Kix had that 'i was right' attitude on at the minute, grabbing a drink from the fridge.
Rex checked the watch and he was right. Kriffing medics!
"well it's abit late for that now." Jesse laughed.
"note to self don't drink on leave again." Rex grunted carefully moving off the couch.
"well if you sleep like that I wish you'd have more on duty." Jesse laughed but Rex wasn't taking this as a joke.
"Look if you tell anyone about tonight she will be most likely kicked out of the army and so will I." he angrily hissed pushing Jesse up the wall.
Clones knew there was only one way to be known to leave the army.
Death.
"If anybody else is told I will kick your head in do you understand me?"
Both Kix and Jesse were taken aback from the threats. They had never seen the Captain this angry. He was usually the level headed one!
"right right I won't tell anyone." Jesse quickly replied, "wasnt planning to."
But they knew the captain better. He wasn't meaning to threaten them, he was freaking out.
Rex let him go and sat at the table, angrily resting his head on his fists. How could he have been this kriffing careless!
"has anybody else figured it out?" he finally asked.
"well we know, fives and echo know, Hardcase has been taking the piss out of you whether he knew or not, Tup probably knows as well," Jesse listed, "the only person in this apartment who doesn't know is Dogma, he fails to believe your breaking the rules."
"thank kriff." he turned to his sleeping now found out girlfriend, "she doesn't deserve it."
"The others will be back any minute now it's best if we don't tell her." Kix shared Rex's sympathy.
"Right next time we are on a holiday like this we don't let Tup bring Dogma otherwise nobody would have given a monkeys," Jesse rolled his eyes, "also I need to look through Hardcase's stuff."
Rex stood back up confused, "Why?"
"Because I've ripped my shoes and I'm swapping mine with his."

Lone: The Wanderer [Rewrite]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? [Goal of 1 chapter per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] The cover art is courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx. This novel is a participant in The Writer's Pledge

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
