Adrianna Rodriguez's Point of View:

After Jeremy was declared guilty a police officer came and put cuffs on him taking him out of the room. The whole time Jeremy was staring daggers into Clarissa who simply smiled and waved him away. She must feel so good to get rid of him. I on the other hand felt terrible about what I did to her with the whole fake pregnancy thing. If I had known that she was going through this I would have tried to help her and not be so focused on getting revenge.

"What are you thinking about love?" Sebastian asked as he looked at me.

I sighed, "I want to apologize to Clarissa about the whole pregnancy prank we pulled but I don't want her to hate me"

He nodded, "you don't have to tell her the specifics but you can apologize anyways"

He was right I didn't have to come clean but I wanted to. I'd feel a whole lot better if I did.

"No no," I gulped "I should do this"

"I'm proud of you darling," Dad said as he patted me on the back "I'm going to let everyone know how it went"

Dad left and Seb pulled me into his side. I was distracted as I waited for Ms. Watson to finish talking to Clarissa. As soon as she was done I tug on Seb's arm and walked over to her.

"H-hey," I mumbled.

She turned to look at me and smiled, "Hi Adrianna"

"I'm really sorry about what Jeremy did"

"Yeah so am I but I have to thank you"

"Thank me?" My face must have shown my confusion.

"Yeah," she said "word got around that your family helped to report him"

"Oh," I looked over at Sebastian and he just shrugged. We hadn't heard that at all.

"Well I wanted to apologize"

She looked at me puzzled, "apologies for what?"

"Remember the whole pregnancy test incident that happened with you?"

"That was you?" She asked dramatically.

I looked at Sebastian for help, "I w-well I...we um"

She laughed, "oh my gosh stop, I knew it was you"

"What did you just say?"

"I knew it was you all this time"

"H-how did you know that?"

"My nosy neighbor took a picture of Rex and asked me if he was my boyfriend"

"Oh wow if you knew it was me why didn't you say anything?"

"What was I supposed to say?"

"I don't know, anything?"

"On a scale of 1-10, how mad are you?" I asked as I waited for her to tell me her answer was 10. I wouldn't be surprised anyway.

She laughed, "I'm not mad at you"

"Really I'm not," she laughed at my look of utter disbelief. Did she really expect me to believe that she wasn't mad about what happened? I had everyone believing that she was pregnant for pete's sake.

"At first I was mad," she confessed "actually I was furious, I was downright fuming, I was so so angry-"

"We get it," Seb replied, "you were pissed, so what changed?"

"Well you guys gave me the out that I needed"

"I don't understand," I told her "how did we give you an out?"

"After my mom came to school and picked me up that day she kicked me out and sent me to live with my aunt who is a much better woman than my mom by the way"

"My first night there I was crying and my aunt eventually got me to tell her what was happening"

"She didn't laugh in my face like I expected she would, instead she wiped my tears away and told me that it wasn't my fault. She convinced me to press charges on Jeremy but by then he was already arrested"

"That's amazing," I told her "but I don't see how I helped"

"Well if you didn't pull that prank on me I'd still be home and I wouldn't have had the confidence to speak up about it"

I shuffled on my feet, "oh well I'm glad I could help then"

Just then Jules ran up to us and pulled me in for a hug, "Hey guys, great hearing right?"

"Yeah it was"

"I didn't know you two were friends," I pointed at Jules and Clarissa.

"Oh yeah, we've been friends for a while now"

"The nurse that helped her was my sister in law, Kate"

"Wait so you knew about this?" I questioned her "why didn't you guys report Jeremy together?"

Clarissa looked down, "that's my fault I made Kate promise not to tell anyone who did it"

I mulled it over but decided that it didn't matter, "I guess he got what he deserved in the end anyway"

"And I didn't mean to be mean to you all those times, he said if I didn't there'd be consequences so that's why I did it"

"Oh that's okay, I got over it"

"So we're cool?" She asked hopefully.

I grinned it felt good to not be at odds with her, "we're cool"

"Okay I'll see you around"

"See you later Anna," Jules said as she and Clarissa walked away.

Seb and I waved as they left through the side door. One of the lawyers had hung back and went with them. I guess she was going to officially report Jeremy for raping her. She was a strong girl.

"You ready to leave Ria?"

I looked up at Sebastian, I was lucky to have him. He's helped me so much in the past few months. He's helped me to deal with my need for revenge and helped me find the inner peace that I didn't even know I needed.

"I love you, you know that right?"

He grinned and pecked me on the lips, "I know and I love you too"

"Let's go"

We walked hand in hand out of the courtroom and headed for the park. Mom beamed when she saw me.

"We heard what happened, you okay sweetheart?"

I nodded. It's been a long time coming but I truly felt alright. Mom looked at me as if she could sense the change in me.

"There she is," she whispered.
