6 weeks later

"Now honey I know you are a big girl but I do know a thing or two"

I slammed my suitcase shut after many minutes of trying to shut it. I had definitely added too many clothes in it but it just had to fit. There was no way I was bringing another suitcase since I was bringing a duffle bag as well.

I glanced over at mom who was rubbing her tummy, "What are you going on about?"

"Look I know things might get heated being in a place so far from home and with a boyfriend at that"

I looked at her, "okay then, what's your point?"

She rolled her eyes, "there's bound to be the urge to have sex"

What the hell did she just say? I ran a hand down my face as I was shocked. What did she think we were going to be doing there? Especially with 7 other persons present.

"Umm I don't know what kind of orange juice you've been drinking but I'm not having sex anytime soon"

"haha very funny," she stood and walked over to me taking my hand "I just want you to be careful"

"I know and dad wants me to be at a distance which is why Michael's going even though I didn't invite him," I muttered.

"Your dad's just looking out for you honey"

"Yeah I know"

Ding!

I walked over to my bedside table and took up my phone. There were a couple of texts from Rex asking me to bring cookies and two from Sebastian. I opened the messages from Sebastian which told me that he was waiting on me outside. Sarah, Jacob, Sebastian, and I would be riding together, while Michael, Jules, Rex, and Katy would be riding together. I knocked on the guest bedroom door and waited for it to open.

Sarah opened the door and beamed at me, "I'm all set"

She held up the suitcase that she had in her hand with a small bag over her shoulders. She looked packed and ready to go. When I asked her to go she was ecstatic and couldn't wait especially since Jacob would be there also.

"It's a shame Chris couldn't tell," I told her as I turned around.

"Yeah it is but I'm sure he's having fun"

I had invited Chris as well as a thank you for helping with the whole Jeremy situation even though it didn't go as planned but he was already going to New York with his family. Speaking of Jeremy is sentencing was actually scheduled for today. Since none of us were willing to sacrifice even a day of our spring break dad asked Jack to keep us informed of what was happening.

"Michael!" I yelled out his name "They're here get your ass down here"

"No yelling!" mom shouted from her room.

"Sorry mom," I shouted back.

"Can you help me pack up the cookies?" I asked Sarah.

"Yeah sure"

We worked in silence as we took the cookies off of the tray and packed them into ziplock bags. After we were done I took them and put them into a paper bag.

"You ready to leave?"

"I was born ready"

Just then mom walked into the room and pulled me into a hug, "call me when you get there"

"Of course mom"

She then pulled Sarah in for a hug as well. Michael walked down the stairs with two duffel bags in his hands. Mom pulled him in for a hug and warned him to be safe.

"Now go before your father gets here," she smiled as she walked into the kitchen.

"What happened to your suitcase?" I asked him as I opened the front door.

"It broke," he groaned "can we just go?"

I pulled my suitcase behind me and walked out, Sarah was right behind me. Upon seeing us Jacob and Sebastian got out and took our bags. I kissed him quickly on the lips and followed them. After we helped them to put our bags in the trunk we got in the car. Sebastian and I were upfront while Jacob and Sarah were in the back. Seb immediately pulled off and Rex followed. The drive to the cabin was about six hours from what I remember. It was around 10 in the morning now so we should arrive there around 4 in the afternoon.

I was up pretty late last night reading on texting Seb because of how excited I was but even after he went to sleep I was up reading a book on Wattpad so now I was super tired. I jerked in my seat as I felt a warm arm run down my thigh. I looked over at Seb who was already looking at me with a big grin on his face.

"Oye, ¿estás bien?"

"Si estoy bien" I rubbed my hand on his own and interlocked our fingers, I could swear his smile widened at my actions "Estaba despierto hasta tarde leyendo en Wattpad de nuevo"

"Deberías irte a dormir temprano"

"Lo sé, pero es tan adictivo"

"Ahem I love that you guys are embracing your culture and all that jazz," Sarah interrupted our conversation "but there are non-Spanish speakers in the car"

We turned to look at her and instantly burst out laughing, She pouted at us clearly not amused with our laughing.

"I'm sorry Sarah we were just talking about how I went to bed late last night because I was on Wattpad again"

Her pout remained but she raised a brow, "do you at least have any books I should read?"

I knew she'd come around, "I just read 'His' by ruthstevens1 and 'Declan' by MelyssaWhyte and they were so good, I couldn't put the phone down"

"I have to read them now" Sarah turned to Jacob who was silently listening to what we were saying "Can I borrow your tablet?"

He wordlessly handed over his tablet to her. I swear he is so whipped. It was funny to watch. He didn't even question her, he just handed it over.

"You probably don't want to read it besides of Jacob"

"Why?"

"Well because it has some rather s-steamy scenes"

"Even better," she winked as she leaned down on him and situated the tablet so they could both see the screen. If his face hadn't gotten a little red I would have thought he was unaffected by what she said.

Turning around I reached into my pocket for my phone has it started to ring. I checked the caller ID and saw that it was my dad. I answered it and listened to what he had to say. When he was done we said our goodbyes and I hung up. I looked over at Sebastian.

"What happened?"

"Who was that?"

"Are you okay Anna?" Jacob asked concerned.

"I'm fine," I spoke "it's just that Jeremy just got his sentence"

"Well, what was it?" Sarah asked, "what did the man whore get?"

I gulped, "he got life in prison"

"It's more than he deserves," Jacob mumbled "he's enjoying taxpayers money"

"You're not upset about it are you?" Seb asked me.

"No of course not," I laughed "I'm actually relieved that it's finally over"

"You know I just thought of what your Wattpad book name would be"

"Lemme hear it"

"Return of The Nerd"

"Y'know since you came back and showed him who's boss"

We all laughed at that. She had a way with words. She was right though I left but I did come back and it's a lucky thing I did because I helped put a scoundrel away.

"The most important thing is that she's happy," Seb took my hand and kissed it softly.

He was right.

I was happy.
