human comprehension. I went to Mawusinu’s room and I asked her if she believed in God. She said yes but didn’t know how to pray. I asked her if she believed God could heal her. She smiled and shyly said yes. I held her two hands, and decreed words of healing into her. I knew Jesus was right there. Her body started vibrating. She screamed and all of a sudden fell on the bed. That was all; she slept. In just some few minutes I saw whitish fluid substance coming out from the neck and the knee. I hurriedly rushed to the kitchen to call the house helps.
to God for protection for the entire household. Late in the night I again heard a soft knock on my shoulder. I opened my eyes and it was Gerald. My dear reader, I checked the time and it was 2:15am. “Auntie Adobea, I am hungry." There I knew this wasn’t funny anymore. I looked at him straight in the eyes. He smiled and one thing was evident; he was such a fresh good looking innocent child. I asked him why this very time again. He replied with a smile. I heard a knock on my door. I went to open. It was Mawusinu. She questioned Gerald why he was worrying me around that time. She pleaded to the son to follow her to the kitchen to fetch him some food so I could sleep. Gerald unhappily looked at me; turned to look at the mother, smiled back at me and left with the mother. I sighed with relief.
5:45am Mawusinu came in to thank me for the prayer session. I told her it wasn’t my doing. It was God. She asked if she could confide in me. I nodded with a smile. She held my two hands and said: “Adobea, I feel there is an evil spirit dwelling in this house. I don’t trust my own son. But I have no prove. I wasn’t surprised you said Grandma misplaced my passport. The very moment we got to Ghana Gerald told me we shouldn’t go back. I told him we needed to go. He looked at me and told me he will do everything possible so we stayed. Adobea, I know I shouldn’t be telling you this. But I believe Gerald killed Grandma.” I was so startled when Mawusinu ended with that. Mawusinu also told me Gerald was her only son and that her Doctor said she couldn’t give birth again. Her plea was simple; “will I accept it if she willed her entire estates to me to take good care of her son?”* My answer to her plea was yes. It was during her conversation that I realized that her existence on earth was numbered. She suffered from Brain Cancer. She left my room and I felt disoriented. Part of me was happy, part was scared and the other part was sad.

presence that very day. He stayed in his room the whole day. He allowed only the two house helps to enter his room; not even his only mum could enter. I became scared and felt he had gotten to know what I discussed with the mother. At about 4:30pm Mawusinu pleaded I buy her Chicken Chips at N’Joy Hotel in Sakumono. Gerald came out from his room and requested he went with me. The mum wasn’t happy but reluctantly agreed. With a smile Gerald jumped with a “hi 5” and said *“yes”. Mawusinu asked her Cook, Jojo to drive us to the Hotel. Gerald wasn’t happy hearing that. Just when Jojo was about to open the gate Mawusinu called him. He spent close to thirty minutes in Mawusinu's room. I became suspicious. Gerald and I sat at the back seat. He was quiet throughout the journey. We got the hotel, alighted and journeyed to the entrance. From a distance Jojo called if he could join us. Gerald was quick to object it. He pleaded with Jojo we weren’t going to keep long so he should wait for us in Mawusinu’s finest Range Rover. We sat down and ordered for the food. Gerald looked into my eyes and asked me to draw closer. Gerald held the back of my left hand and said: "Auntie Adobea, I want you to run away. Do not come back to the house again. My mother, Jojo and Ataa the other house help want to kill you. I have saved you twice and I wouldn’t know what will happen the third time. My mother and the two house helps are in a secret society. The two house helps are her spiritual servants. Auntie, I am one of them. But I like you and can’t let them kill you. You were billed to be killed four days ago in your sleep at exactly 2:15am. Do you remember I came to you to complain of hunger? I wasn’t hungry. I didn’t want them to find you sleeping around that time. I saved you today too. My mother didn’t come in to look for me but she came in for you. I warned my mother if she dared touch you she will die. She nearly died but you prayed for her and she was healed. You have a pure heart Auntie. There was no way you could have run away from that house. Our coming here today was even calculated. Jojo wouldn’t take us home. You will be killed on the way and the scene will be designed as an accident scene. I heard what my mother told you about me. She lied. My mother killed Grandma..." Just when Gerald was about to conclude his submission the food was brought in. Gerald gave me enough money and insisted I run away. I asked him where he had the money from. He only smiled. He wept, kissed my forehead and professed these words: “God be with you.” I wept like a baby.

*Gerald saw me off* to the back gate of the hotel. I hugged the little boy and said goodbye. I did not want to believe him but it made no difference if I didn't. I got to the other street of the hotel leading to Estate Junction. I boarded a taxi. I sat at the back seat. With just a minute away; the passenger at the front seat turned and said you are welcome. I lifted up my head and goodness my reader, you won’t believe this; it was Mawusinu… )

Law of Divine Gates
What is transcendence? There are those on countless planets who believe creation ended with them. The notion that they are God's chosen people, and nothing else existed beyond them became a firmly rooted ideal. An arrogant assertion you say? Well there you have it, ignorance is something mortals never have a lack of. This is not transcendence, to transcend is to explore the limits of existence, to constantly grow, and lay claim to all the universe has to offer. Transcendence is to not be constrained by ideals, or the planet of your birth, to transcend is to leave behind your Mortal shell, to challenge heaven's law, and formulate your own. Heaven would see mortals bowed in servitude until the end of their days, to reincarnate, and begin another lifetime of worship, giving praise to the gods. A young demon accidentally stepped through the gateway of endless possibilities, will he succumb to heaven's authority?
