"And that's how I convinced Akaashi to help me." Bokuto explained, enthusiastically gesturing his hands as he finally finished his story. He looked over at Kuroo expectantly, waiting for any type of reaction. But he got nothing, Kuroo was just staring at something behind Bokuto.
"Kuroo?" Bokuto called out, getting no response.
"What are you looking at?" Bokuto asked.
"E-Eh? Nothing-" Kuroo replied, but it was too late. Bokuto's eyes landed on a (hair colored) girl that seemed to be their age. Bokuto's eyes lit up with excitement and he turned back to Kuroo.
"Woah, is she your friend?" He exclaimed, he had never seen such an expression on Kuroo's face. It was almost as if Kuroo was dumbstruck.
"Yeah." Kuroo replied.
"What's her name?" Bokuto continued.
"(L/N), (L/N) (Y/N)." Kuroo replied.
"Wow, Kuroo she's cute." Bokuto commented, nonchalantly. Kuroo only hummed in response, making Bokuto even more curious about her.
"So, how did you met her?" Bokuto asked.
"At the nurses office." Kuroo replied, a small smile appearing on his face,"My nose was bleeding and she helped me get some tissues." He continued.
"Your nose was bleeding?" Bokuto exclaimed, confused.
"I got hit with a volleyball." Kuroo explained, rolling his eyes a bit.
"Eh? Really? I would've paid to see that." Bokuto muttered, earning a smack from Kuroo,"I'm joking!" Bokuto yelled, rubbing his arm in pain.
"Lets go talk to her then! Akaashi and Kenma are there too." Bokuto exclaimed, making Kuroo nervously scratch his neck. But Bokuto didn't notice and he began walking over to them. Reluctantly, Kuroo followed Bokuto, not seeing a way to escape the situation.
"Akaashi!" Bokuto greeted his friend.

"Bokuto-san." Akaashi replied. Meanwhile, (Y/N) stared at Bokuto in bewilderment. She didn't think she'd meet anyone louder or more energetic than Lev. So, focused on Bokuto, she didn't even notice Kuroo was just approaching them.
Sensing (Y/N)'s confusion, Bokuto gave the girl a bright smile. But (Y/N) could only stare at him, not sure what to say or do.
"Hey, hey, hey! I'm Bokuto." He exclaimed,"You're (L/N), right?" He continued.
"Y-Yeah." (Y/N) stammered, surprised he knew her name.
"Bokuto-san, please lower your voice." Akaashi commented.
"Oh, sorry. I'm just happy to meet Kuroo's new friend." Bokuto explained, grabbing Kuroo's shoulders who just smile at (Y/N).
"I-, yeah, I am his friend." (Y/N) confirmed, not sure what to say.
"Cool! Lets be friends too then, (L/N)-chan." Bokuto suggested, pulling out his phone. (Y/N) stared at him for a couple of seconds, before she gave him her contact information. Meanwhile, Kuroo watched Bokuto in awe. He spent days trying to get her number.
Was it always that easy?

Kenma watched his friend stared at the (hair colored) girl with interest. The second year wasn't stupid, he was far from it.
There's no doubt, right?
He took a sip from his soda and he let out a sigh as his friend's face erupted into a smile. Kenma wondered if he ever seen Kuroo like this.
(L/N) turns him into a puppy.
His sharp cat-like eyes caught everything, the small tint of red that covered both of their faces and the small smiles they gave each other. They were still a bit awkward around each other but Kenma knew that they'd get over that eventually. He even tried to speed it up the other day, but it didn't work.

God they're both so dense.
Kenma took other sip from his cup, and let out another sigh. He didn't understand it, Kuroo and (L/N) clearly both liked each other.
So, why hasn't anything happened?
Kenma downed the last bits of his drink before walking back into the kitchen, to get more. Unknowingly, Kuroo noticed Kenma and excused himself from (Y/N).
"Hey, Kenma. You having fun?" Kuroo asked as he approached the second year.
"Meh." Kenma replied, he didn't like all the people but it was Kuroo's birthday so he could tolerate it. Kuroo nodded his head and took Kenma's cup from his hand. He headed towards the table, refilling it for Kenma. Kenma twisted his hoodie strings.
"You like (L/N), right?" Kenma exclaimed, glancing over at him. Kuroo's face was slightly redder and he cleared his throat.
"That's....that would be weird, Kenma." Kuroo muttered, pouring another cup of soda and earning an confused look from Kenma.
"What?" Kenma whispered.
He's joking.
Kuroo didn't hear him and just handed Kenma his cup back, who watched as his friend just walked back to (L/N). Kenma scoffed.
There's no way.
Kuroo likes her.
This idiot doesn't even know his own feelings.

Mistbound: Eternity
The world is said to be formed out of duality of man. Good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark. And with duality, comes conflict. A meaningless clash of ideals results in pointless wars. Azlan is wanderer who doesn't falls in either category. Tired and done with the redundant world, he lives his secluded life, hunting monstrosites for coin in the crumbling province of Mountaliya, situated in the land of Forsa. The premise follows Azlan as he explores the province, experiencing the culture and its people as they try to stand unshaken amidst a cold and unforgiving world. The story is a dark fantasy that is a balance of action and world building but most importantly, it follows the people going about their daily lives. The world has entered a state of stasis, there are no high stakes, no glory to be had, only a decaying realm of ice remains. Everyone awaits for Heaven's descent, an event prophesied to bring the world out of stasis, by granting the champion of the event a wish. Heaven Shall Descend. I wanted to write a high fantasy story that doesn't focuses too much on Magic and Swordfights, but rather interactions between people, a bit of politics and ideals. This is my first attempt at writing something this huge, please let me know if you see mistakes or any problems in general, so I can learn from them. (The cover picture is from the year 1818, "Wanderer Above the Mist" by Caspar David Friedrich). I also write Short stories set in the same shared universe. You can read them here: Dark Fantasy Short Stories.

The Book of Rune
If you like moderately well-researched semi-medieval military logistics with some fantasy twists, and also conspiracy, and exploration, and violence, and maybe a dash of road movie, hey, Ruen just might be your thing. Plot-wise, basically there's a guy who got fired by Death, a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and a slave general who wouldn't mind retiring but ended up on a mass suicide mission. If you were looking for a less TL;DR version, a guy who got fired by Death meets a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and they try to get the guy un-fired while also trying to come to terms with death together (ooohhhh, look, I'm deep). Meanwhile a slave general does something stupid and ends up being sent on a suicide mission, and he tries to wreak havoc and save lives at the same time. The threads come together, I swear. This is a rough draft of a fantasy semi-book that I've had in the back of my head for some time. I've written a variety of short stories set in the world over the past three years, and I finally kicked myself into writing the actual story. Very much a slow work in progress. Occasional violence (okay, well, maybe more than occasional), occasional foul language.

An Average American in A High-school Academy Anime
An American versed in narrative tropes and more than mildly acquainted with anime wakes up in a completely different bed than the one he went to bed in. Now he has to scramble to understand where he is, what's going on, and hope to God he isn't in a relationship drama. I don't expect this to be good or well-received, but I have plenty of time this quarantine, so I'll try to get a chapter of 4000-10000 words out every one or two weeks. (haha) Please let me know how it can be improved. I'm an avid reader of fiction, but I've never really fallen down a rabbit hole so hard that I can name all tropes and settings and such by heart. I'm not sure if this will be effective satire, so I preemptively apologize. Inspired by: "My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe..." by EO Tenkey and "The Simulacrum" by Eganthale. Check them out if you want probably better stories than this one.
