《The Gray Brothers✔️ (Wattpad version)》Scare fest with the Grays: A Halloween chapter
Advertisement
Do you know what's scarier than horror movies and ghosts on Halloween? It's Halloween with the Grays. They go all out for Halloween. It's like their favorite holiday in the whole wide world. They also like to scare the crap out of people.
I remember when I was a kid and went trick or treating. They would always scare me. Yeah, I hated them for that. They laughed. I cried. It was good times. I tell you.
This year, besides setting up decorations for Halloween, we went to a costume party at Kat's house. The girls and I shopped for a costume. As we tried on outfits, the girls discussed the brothers.
"He did what?" Kat asked, sticking her head out of the opening of the curtain in the changing room.
"He freaking jizzed on me," Macey huffed.
"Why?"
"Who knows? All I know is the dude can't hold it together longer than two minutes."
"Only because the twins are virgins," I said.
"What?" The three of them asked.
I popped my head out through the curtain's opening of the changing room. "The twins are virgins. They've never had sex."
"We know what virgins mean, stoop," Macey replied.
"Well, that's why Nathan didn't last long."
"What about Nixon, Kat?" Marcy asked.
"What about him?" Kat looked at her.
"Have you guys done anything?"
"What do you think?" Kat walked out of the changing room while looking in the mirror at her costume.
"Really?"
"Yeah, we did."
"How was it?"
"It was okay. Nothing like I expected."
"What did you expect?" I asked, walking out of the changing room in my costume.
"I don't know something like the movies. It was kind of awkward. I don't think Nixon has experience."
We looked at Kat.
"Come on, Maggie."
"Come on, what?" I asked.
"You live with them. Did Nixon go out with a lot of girls?" Macey asked.
"How should I know? I live with them. It's not like I know anything about their sexual experiences."
"Well, you knew about the twins being virgins," Marcy said.
"Only because Nash told me. Why are we talking about this, anyway? Let's get our costumes and go," I said, going back into the changing room and changing into my clothes. The last thing I wanted to talk about was sex and the Gray brothers.
Once we changed, we left. The only problem was we didn't know we had company in the changing rooms with us. As soon as we left, Tiffany stepped out. She made a call. "Bryson? Change of plans. We're going to a Halloween party tonight. I'll fill you in when I get to your house. Love you. Bye."
I got ready for the party as Nate and Pat handed out candy. The boys also got ready. I came out of my room, and Nash said, "Well, aren't you a cute little devil."
"Yeah, I had a hard time deciding between a cat, devil, or fairy."

"Well, I think you look good in anything." He smiled.
I rolled my eyes. "You're such a charmer."
"I try." He smirked as we went downstairs.
We made our way to the party. Once we got there, we made our way inside. The boys went to find the girls, and Nolan looked around for anything that moved and was alone. Nash and I hung out in the kitchen, having something to drink.
As everyone was having a good time, two unexpected party crashers in the form of Bryson and Tiffany arrived. Tiffany had filled in Bryson on what we said in the changing rooms, and that's when they put their plan in action. Operation ruin Maggie's night began.
They split up, making their way to everyone telling them personal things about the brothers that Tiffany had heard in the dressing room. Word traveled fast and got back to the brothers. They ended up fighting with the girls.
Nolan ran into the kitchen and pulled Nash towards him, and whispered what he had heard.
"What?" Nash asked Nolan.
"Nash, it's all over the party."
They looked at me.
"What?" I asked them.
"Did you say anything about the twins?" Nash asked me.
"No. Why?"
"Don't lie to me, Maggie.".
"I'm not lying!"
"Then how would everyone know about them not being experienced? The only ones that knew were my brothers and you, along with your friends."
"Okay, fine. We were in the changing room, and the girls mentioned what happened between them and your brothers, and I said something to them to help them understand."
"Maggie, that wasn't your call."
"I know, and I'm sorry."
"Sorry, won't cut it. Now I have to fix the mess you created." Then Nixon stormed by Nash as Nash caught him by the arm. "Where are you going?"
"Ask your girlfriend and her friends. I'm lousy in bed! Oh, let me rephrase that. I'm awkward." He stormed out.
Nash got the twins, along with Nolan, and left. I ran after them. "Nash!"
He stopped and looked at me. "Don't. You've done enough." With that, he got into the car, and they left. They left me standing there alone.
I turned around to see my friends standing there, glaring at me, then turning around and going back inside. I walked up to Kat. "Kat?"
"Go, Maggie," she said, going back inside, leaving me standing there alone.
I didn't even know what I had done. One minute I was having fun, and the next, I was standing outside alone. As I stood there, Bryson and Tiffany walked up.
"Man, that sucks. I guess sometimes things don't always work out for the best. Oh, wait, for us, they did. Have a nice night."
They walked by me, laughing.
I walked back to the Gray house and saw Nate and Pat sitting outside on the front porch with a candy bowl. I sighed and walked up.
"Party over so soon?" Nate asked me.

"Something like that. Did the boys come home?"
"Yeah, a little while ago. They're up in their rooms. They said they felt tired," Pat said.
"Oh, I might as well tell you."
"Tell us what, sweetheart?" Nate asked.
I told them the truth. Nate and Pat had been great to me, and they deserved to know what happened. That's when I told them every single thing about what happened at the party. They sat there and listened.
"Don't be mad at them. It was my fault. And I promise to make myself scarce so the brothers won't have to deal with me. I don't want to cause any more problems," I said, walking past them.
"Maggie?" Nate stopped me and gave me a soft look.
"Yeah?"
"Thanks for letting us know."
"Sure." I walked upstairs and removed my horns. I walked to Nash's door and placed my hand on it. "I'm sorry, Nash." I turned and went into my room. I changed out of my costume and put on something comfy. I needed to figure out a place to stay. I was grateful for them letting me stay here, but being here was causing too many issues.
The next day, I stayed in my room except for school. At school, everyone ignored me. I don't blame them. I would have ignored me, too. Bryson and Tiffany got what they wanted.
When I got home, I saw Nash and darted past him up to my room. He hated me, and so did the others. The best thing I could do was to make myself scarce. At dinner, I came down briefly while everyone ate at the table and grabbed something small, taking it back to my room. I didn't want them to feel I was taking more from them than I already did. I mean, I broke their trust.
Nate looked at Pat and said, "We should take Maggie out for ice cream tonight to cheer her up."
"That's a wonderful idea," she replied.
"Why?" Nixon asked.
"Why not?" Nate asked him.
"It's not like she deserves it," Nathan mumbled.
"Huh, you're right. But then again, she doesn't deserve the treatment she is getting either. I don't know Pat. What do you think?" Nate gave her a look we knew all too well.
"Well, Nate, she made a simple mistake and wasn't aware she had listening ears. But that's none of my business," she answered as she took a bite of food.
"What are you talking about?" Nash asked her.
"Nothing. It's not like the gossip started from her mouth or anything. She got the blame because someone else caused trouble. But that's none of my business."
"What do you mean, someone else?" Noah asked her.
"She means someone else was the one that started everything, you dolt," Nolan said. "Damn, you're slow."
They all looked at him.
"Am I wrong? No, no, I'm not."
Pat looked at Nate, and Nate looked at Pat as they gave each other a knowing smile as they went back to eating. All it takes is a little birdie to whisper something in one's ear.
After dinner, Pat and Nate took me out for ice cream. Thank God we were inside because it was November, and it was getting cold. They sat across from me in the booth as I jabbed my sundae.
"Maggie, how's your ice cream?" Nate asked as he ate his ice cream.
I shrugged as I picked at it with my spoon.
"So, it seems someone has a birthday coming up," Pat said.
"Oh, yeah? Do tell."
"Someone special is turning eighteen. Isn't that right, Maggie?"
I looked up and stared at them. "Um, yeah, I guess."
"Well, I thought we could have cake, ice cream, pizza. Rent two movies. Doesn't that sound like fun?" Pat asked.
I gave her a look. I wasn't in the mood to celebrate anything, let alone my birthday.
"That sounds boring," we heard a voice say.
We looked up to see the brothers standing there.
"Who says I'm even inviting you?" She asked the brothers. "I'm planning this, not you, so go away."
"Well, you suck at this," Nixon informed her.
"I beg your pardon. Did I ask your opinion? No. Now return to sulking like you usually do," she retorted.
"Ma, no offense, but no girl wants movies and pizza for her eighteenth birthday," Noah said.
"How would you know? Were you ever an eighteen-year-old girl? No. So your opinion is invalid. Plus, don't you have some pouting to do about your sexual exploits?" They all looked at her. "Oh, please, I'm your mother, but I'm not stupid. And I know that whatever issue you boys have would be your issue, not hers, so stop being tools."
"Well, said hun," Nate said.
"I thought so."
I looked at them. I love Nate and Pat. They're awesome.
Nash took a seat next to me. "Look, we're sorry. I know saying it won't change what happened, but you didn't deserve to have us ice you out."
I didn't know what to say. The minute I opened my mouth, the shit hit the fan.
"Say something, Maggie."
I sighed and did the only thing I could think of, which would be appropriate for a situation like this. I picked up my dessert and shoved it in his face.
It fell in his lap, and he said, "Guess I deserved that."
No offense, but I won't let him get away with an apology.
I looked at him as did the others to gauge what he would do. He sat there for a minute, tapping his fingertips on the table, then he grabbed my face and gave me a big ole sloppy ice cream kiss on the cheek. I couldn't help but laugh as he did, too while wiping off the ice cream and flicking it at me.
What will I do with these boys?
