I look in the mirror putting my hand through my hair and then fixing my tie, today I kinda wanna look perfect because this day means so much to my brother,he's wanted to get married since he knew what marriage was
"Don't worry you look perfect"I hear Ella say I smile turning around I haven't seen her all day and I kinda need her to calm down "you don't realise how happy I am to see you"I smile walking over and hugging her she laughs hugging me back,I step back and look at her and just smile I'm the luckiest man in the world I swear "you look stunning"I whisper she blushes and looks down "thank you"she mutters I smile
--------------------
"You may now kiss the bride"the priest says I try not to let out a sigh of relief, you don't realise how long I've stood here for, they kiss and then they walk down the isle everyone cheering and throwing confetti,I smile and look around the crowd finding Ella,James and Amie at the back I walk down to them grabbing Ellas hand making her jump "oh it's you"she giggles her other hand on her chest "just me"I smile and then look at Xander and Cassie I wrap my arms around Ella's waist resting my chin on her shoulder "that'll be us soon"she whispers titling her head to the side so it's resting against mine I nod thinking of how amazing that'll be
Everyone starts to walk back into the hotel and we just follow behind,we sit down at the table we sat at yesterday "hey babs"I mutter she comes next to me nodding "just to warn you half of my family are snobs the other half the weirdest nicest people you'll ever meet"I tell her she nods giggling "your family are all weirdos"she laughs looking around, half of them are the most snobbiest people ive ever seen and the other half are hilarious they can be a little annoying but there great people I know Cassies family are like that too so it's great

"hey Ella do you want to hear a story from when Jace was little"she says my eyes widen Ella nods a huge smirk on her "Debs no let's not"I protest but she carries on anyway "he was about 18 months old"she goes to start but I cut her off "no Debbie we need to go anyway"I shrug pulling Ella way who is already laughing her head off
"You were 18 months old and"she says with a huge smile on her face "you don't need to know"I shake my head,I'm probably bright red right now "I do need to know because when we have children what if they do what you did I need a warning Norman"she says giggling I roll my eyes as she laughs hysterically god I love this girl

The Exiled Villainess Returns
(Please heed the warnings above before reading) Reborn into the beautiful but deadly world of Ethetia, she comes to a sudden awareness that she is now Livia Katrina Valentine, a character of a game of a reverse harem she once played on Earth called Aster Academy: The Feuding Houses. But this revelation comes a bit too late. You see, Livia wasn't just anyone. She was not given the anonymity of being a background character, or even the blessing of being the heroine. Instead, she has bestowed the role of being the atrocious villainess. And that is exactly what she had been. As a result, Livia triggers her own death flag event at her debutante. Her memories of her past life have the grace to come only minutes before she is accused of poisoning the heroine, Amelia. But all is not helpless. Via last-minute intervention, Livia successfully manages to avoid having her head decapitated. Being exiled was a small price to pay for retaining a pulse. Plus, at least this way, Livia can finally start to live her life, to become more than just a cruel folly. Her exile should have been a new but unusual beginning to her story. But pitiless reality comes knocking. Ethetia had once only been a background setting in a game. A pretty and still picture that mostly went disregarded as the even prettier characters on the screen unloaded their dialogue, but now, it was Livia's world. As real and wonderous as planet Earth once had been, filled with small creatures with their own wills, ambitions, and needs. Such one creature decides that exile was not enough of a penalty. That Livia, the bullish and jealous tormentor of the heroine, deserves a fate more befitting of her past deeds. One worst than death. Livia's fate is ripped out of her hands. She is forced into a collar, sold to an empire rotten with greed, and placed inside a harem where she is expected to wither and die from the inside out. But Livia refuses to be forgotten. Burning with a deep rage against those who only wish to see her fall into her own grave, Livia makes a twisted promise to herself. A promise that pushes her through the darkest moments of her life and brings to light a newfound power rooted deep inside her. So keen to discard her as the villain she has once been, the little creatures in their own ignorance brought forth something they could never dream to fathom. A beacon of darkness.
8 149The Demon Lord's Lover
Julius Goldforge knows how the world works. He knows his role. Really, it's destiny by this point. The mentor dies, the hero gains motivation, and the demon lord falls to their blade. Except...something's clearly gone wrong here. Written by Redknight3996 and Indismile, The Demon Lord's Lover is a fantasy comedy/romance featuring a jaded, middle-aged adventurer who's damn sure he's going to die on this new journey with his students and the ambitious Empress of the Dark Lands, whose drive to conquer the entire world winds up putting both him and her on a bizarre course of attraction and impulsive decision making. Includes (but is not limited to): action, adventure, big fights, elemental-themed temples, demons, angels, fumbling romance, competence, incompetence, nudist druids, the crimes of the past influencing the current age in myriad ways, interpersonal issues, fatalism, and being a decent uncle to one's adoptive family. 8 65A Nation of Distances (possibly a dystopian love story)
Michael lives in a toxic macho world with extreme male hierarchy. When he gets a weird rating that makes his place even more problematic he's forced to choose a fiancée at a Wife School, and he slowly discovers more about the other side of the great divide between the sexes in The Nation. If only the world would stop being so complicated... On the other side there's Megan, who's more interested in books than in marriage, and the unpredictable Eliza who seems to have a connection with Micheal already. Will they be able to cross the distance and become friends against all the rules of their own world, or will they just be crushed? Are positive relationships between men and women even possible? And is there a way to change the world or is that just a naive thought of a silly wimp? 'A Nation of Distances' is a slightly dystopian dialogue-heavy drama set in a low sci-fi future setting about the war between the sexes, disconnect and friendship. The genre will fluctuate in between more slice-of-life parts and soft sci-fi drama with possible romantic elements, with alternating lead and switching perspectives once more of the main characters are established. Content Warning: Certain concepts and scenes might be disturbing and/or triggering to some, even though the story itself won't be extremely heavy most of the time. Sexism as a double-edged sword destructive to both sexes is an important part of the story, but so is friendship.Note that all descriptions of persons and places are purely fictional and made up by the writer, and any resemblance with anything in the real world is a coincidence, since the real world is not supposed to be dystopian anyway!
