Before moving to California with my mother I lived in Toronto with her. I had no siblings and my dad left us when I was really young, that's why I don't know him.
At my last highschool I had a lot of friends but kept to myself most of the time, the only people that could change that were my favourite YouTubers- Slimecicle, jschlatt and the rest of their group. Just something about them made me fall in love with them and their stupid jokes even more when they uploaded a new video or streamed on Twitch. They made me feel more confident about myself and meeting new people.
But out of the whole group, my favourite was Wilbur Soot, he wasn't in their videos quite often but that was okay since he has his own YouTube channel and streams a lot.
The reason why my mom and I moved to Cali was because she got offered a new job with better payment and working conditions here. Of course I was happy for her but I was genuinely sad when I found out that we would be moving very soon. My friends and I spent every last free minute together until it was time to leave, it was heart-breaking to see them crying about my department and not seeing eachother for a while. Atleast we can Facetime and text every now and then, which seems good enough for now.
But it's time to start a new Chapter of Life here in California, time to meet new people, time to learn new things about myself and maybe even find love...
Alright, this is the Prologue and just so you all know, the boys were already doing YouTube and everything in highschool and a little "famous" in this story. I feel like this is the worst Prologue ever and I already regret publishing but PFFFFFT YOLOOOOO!

For some perspective, being able to light a campfire with magic is considered relatively advanced for someone who is the age of the main character. Magic can become very powerful - and there are some examples of powerful wizards within this story - but it's not where the main characters are yet. Part of the story is about following them as they learn more about magic. Enemies are also very dangerous, and running, hiding, or trying to talk their way out of a dangerous situation is often a better choice than fighting for the characters. While I have added tags for traumatizing content, sexuality, violence, swearing, etc. I try to avoid super-explicit descriptions of these things. But they are part of the story.
