after shownu closed the door, the boys sank on the couch.

"you know," changkyun started a conversation. "now, i think that y/n is a cute girl and the feelings i had before were not real."

"i think you were just excited to hang out with a girl." shownu said. "after all, she is your first girl friend, right?"

changkyun thought about it and realized that the oldest was right; he was excited that y/n was around to hang with them, but he never had feelings for her. if anything, the feelings were not genuine, and he was just happy that he made a friend that is a girl.

"yeah, you are right. thanks, hyung."

shownu patted his back, then walked past him to the fridge.

"something seems off, though." minhyuk thought out loud, making the rest of them look at him.

"about y/n?" kihyun asked. minhyuk nodded. "nothing is wrong with her. she is a very nice girl."

"no, i am not talking about her in general," minhyuk argued. "i am talking about when we were sitting on the couch just now. it was as if she was nervous or hesitant of talking about the other group."

"how do you notice these things?" jooheon asked, shaking his head. "i am pretty sure you are thinking about this too much."

"if she is nervous, she would not have brought them up in the first place, right?" shownu added.

"i agree with hyung." kihyun said, doubting minhyuk. "maybe jooheon is right; you are overthinking, like always."

"no, i am serious!" minhyuk stood up from the couch. "she was hesitating when she answered our questions, and she seemed nervous when the door knocked."

"i guess so, i kind of noticed that too." changkyun agreed. "but why would she be nervous about group a?"

"i have no idea. we should try and hint more about the subject the next time we see her, and see how she reacts." minhyuk planned. the others seemed to doubt the idea at first, but their curiosity got to them.

"we cannot make her feel uncomfortable, though." changkyun said.

"well, if she is uncomfortable, she would either tell us or just act weird." minhyuk replied. "we will not make her that uncomfortable."

changkyun sighed. the last thing he wanted to do was to make y/n feel nervous, or she would tell her dad, and he would cancel their debut.

~ couple days later ~

"who wants coffee?" kihyun asked the group. they just finished learning half of the song that they have to sing for their choreography in their dorm. "coffee is on me."

their eyes lit up at the question and raised their hands.

"okay then, let's go." kihyun stood up from the ground.

"hyung," changkyun groaned. "my stomach is still sore. can i stay home?"

throughout the practice, changkyun went in and out of the bathroom. for some reason that day, he had a bad stomachache.

"okay. jooheon, stay with changkyun." kihyun ordered. jooheon nodded and looked at the youngest, who had his hand over his stomach and a frown.

"so, the three of us are going then?" minhyuk asked.

"unless you wanna stay home with them." kihyun replied, shrugging.

"i need to walk. my feet are falling asleep."

the three boys exited their dorm and walked straight out of the building. they headed for the nearest coffee shop and talked while they walked.

walking into the shop, the three members breathed, loving the smell of freshly brewed coffee. the line was not long, so they waited patiently.

"i am gonna look at the cakes, i heard they came out with a new one." shownu said, walking away from minhyuk and kihyun.

while waiting patiently with minhyuk, kihyun heard someone shout his name. he looked around the whole store and found who was calling him. the person signaled him over to talk with him, yet kihyun did not want to lose his place in line.

"after i get my drink." kihyun mouthed to the guy. the guy nodded and continued to talk to his friends. minhyuk looked at them, then looked at his friend.

"why are they here? do you have something going on with them?" minhyuk asked. kihyun shook his head and shrugged.

"i honestly have no idea." kihyun replied, sighing while thinking deeply. "i also have nothing to do with them."
