《The healer Deku》Chapter 3

There stood the number one hero in a smaller form. Nobody knew who he was in this small caffe except for the small green haired boy in front of him. He ordered a black coffee while the boy just drank hot chocolate.
Breaking the ice, the small boy spoke first. "Don't worry about your secret. I won't tell a soul. After all, it is a state secret."
There was no one around to hear the conversation.
"I appreciate that young boy."
" I guess we never did introduce ourselves, my name is Izuku Midoriya." He smiled.
"Toshinori Yagi." He replied.
"Also, you don't have to thank me. It's my job as an aspiring hero."
"I thought you were an aspiring doctor?"
"I plan on being both, like Recovery Girl!" Izuku giggled.
"Then, What school do you plan on going to?" The thin man questioned.
"I got a recommendation in UA through Recovery Girl herself. After all , we both have rare healing quirks. Not to mention she has taken me under her wing in the past."
"Well, that's a shame. I was planning on doing that myself. I guess she beated me to the punch."
"It's fine, I really don't need any thanks." The green haired boy shyly put his head down.
"Still, this means a lot to me, I need to do something or it just won't feel right." The Hero looks down.
"Well, there is one thing... but it's a bit embarrassing." The hero looked up as if to say anything. "I-I wa-was hoping... y-you could..." the boy stuttered.
"Tell me young Midoriya!" All Might felt the need to repay the young green boy others wise known as the angel he met, but Toshinori would never admit it.

"Please give me an autograph." He shyly looked down.
'AN ANGEL!' All Might thought. " I don't mind at all. But if you need anything in the future, be sure to let me know." All Might as he signed a page in Uzuku's book."
-time skip-
The entrance exams were nearing. Izuku and All Might kept in touch. They had surprisingly a lot in common.
Izuku needed to train both his quirk and musculation. The recommendation exam would be set in three sections. 1) the written exam. 2) the physical exam. 3) the interview.
He knew the written exam was harder on the recommendations than the rest so he intensely studied every day. He wasn't to worried about the interview because he was used to them. Just in case, he did prepare for it in his head during his free time. As for the physical exam... he needed to train. He purposely asked for more clients in the hospital because he needed to increase his healing capacity without a major head ache. But unfortunately, that wasn't enough for him. Everyone in the special recommendation probably had a very flashy quirk. So in combat, he was basically Quirkless (canon reference, but we don't talk about canon) . So Izuku than began working out, he studied marshal arts the best he could and even analysed how others fight when their quirks are of no use. But there he stood, in front of UA.
"Don't be shy Deku. You already got in, you just need to show 'em what you're made of." Tapped Katsuki as he entered.
Smiling at his friend, he felt more confident. "Yeah, you better do your best."
-time skip again-
Izuku breezed through the written exam and somehow managed to get a good score in physical exam (we don't question how Hagakure or Mineta managed to enter so we won't question this) . Now was time for an interview with the head of UA. He didn't expect a small mouse, bear, dog thing.

"My name is Nezu. Now you must be wondering, am I a dog, a mouse or a bear. But you will never know the answer for I am the principle. Anyways, Izuku Midoriya, you're quirk is angel prayer, it allows you to heal people."
"Yes sir." He replied calmly
"According to the hospital staff, you have quite the number of clients. Not to mention the types of injuries you heal! If it weren't for the cctv, surveillance cameras or the stories people made of you, I would have never believed it. Despite your achievements, you still are described as modest. " The small creature laugh.
"Leave it to UA to do a perfect background check too." Midoriya sighed.
"According to this, you aced the written exam. Unfortunately the physical exam wasn't as lenient but with a quirk like yours, it gives you no justice. Am I right?"
"Principal Nezu, I thought we weren't supposed to the results until next week?"
"Tradition smadition. Anyways, we would be fools to not accept you into UA so congrats." He scuffed, ALMOST bored. "My question is, why be a hero?"
Taken back, he stated answering."Because-"
"Please don't say it's because you want to help people, get rich or become famous because you can be a great doctor for that. In the hero world, you also need to fight villains." The small principal sarcastically said.
"People's keep saying that. 'Being a Doctor is more stable' or 'what will you do when you meet a villain'. And honestly, they're right." He looked up at the hero. He was determined. "What will you do when you're injured in the battlefield? Contrary to what people think, I'm not helpless. I may be a healer but I'm not useless in a fight. I'm confident UA will give me the right training. Unless you're telling me otherwise."
The beardogmousething began to laugh. "YES! THAT'S PERFECT. I have a feeling you and I shall get along quite nicely."
And with that, the young protagonist made a very unlikely friendship.
