The Mane 7 and the Princesses returned back to Ponyville and soon enough, the citizens of Ponyville celebrate the return of the Princesses.

Many of the citizens were surprised and shocked by the appearance of Princess Luna who they learned is truly Princess Celestia's younger sister and was Nightmare Moon, but Princess Celestia was able to clear things up by explaining how the Mane 7 obtained the Elements of Harmony and used them to erase Nightmare Moon and bring Luna back to normal. Many of them were even more surprised to see that (Y/N) was the one to awaken the legendary seventh Element of Harmony and he survived a fight he had against Nightmare Moon.

Everypony cheered for the Mane 7 and called them heroes for saving both Equestria and Princess Luna, and speaking of the Princess of the Night, everypony welcomed her back with open arms and accepted her as a princess like Celestia. Two young Pegasus foals gave her a flower wreath which she accepts with tears of joy and a smile.

Twilight had a sad look on her face which (Y/N) notices as he approached her.

What's the matter, Twilight?

*sighs* It's just that after finally making friends with you and the others, I would have to go back to Canterlot and I want to spend more time with all of you.

This made the Mane 6 feel sad at the thought of being separated until Celestia get's an idea.

Spike, take a note please.

The said dragon pulls out a scroll and quill and begins writing to what Celestia is saying.

I, Princess Celestia, hereby decree that the unicorn Twilight Sparkle shall take on a new mission for Equestria. She must continue to study the magic of friendship. She must report to me her findings from her new home in Ponyville.

The Mane 6 smiled as they all smile and hugged Twilight out of joy that she doesn't have to leave.

Oh thank you, Princess Celestia! I'll study harder than ever before.

Everypony around them cheered at the Mane 7's friendship.

(Y/N) covered Pinkie's mouth as he smirked and rolled his eyes.

The Mane 7 enjoyed the Summer Sun Celebration for all of the afternoon as they ate delicious food, played games with each other, and just had huge amounts of fun in general. Soon when the evening came around, most of the citizens except for the Mane 7 and the Princesses left. (Y/N) was continuing talking with Twilight until Princess Celestia approached him.

I believe it is time that me and my sister tell you about your past and why you're exactly an alicorn.

Oh, that's right. I nearly forgot, so you're from the mythical world, Earth?

So what's this super duper secret that you're about to tell us (Y/N).

Yes, you said that you came to Equestria a month ago and that you're from Earth right?

Yes, I was originally born in a world called Earth. Earth is not like Equestria, as there are different species on there that we call humans.

I've read about humans in a book, but I always thought that they were just a myth.

Well, it's no myth at all Twilight as I was born and raised as a human. Back on Earth, I had magic similar to what Equestria has, but I found it kind of weird that I was the only one to have it.

Now hold on fer a sec, (Y/N). If you're from this Earth and used to be a human, then how are ya here and how did ya turn into an alicorn?

Perhaps, we can shed some light on that.

The Mane 7 turned to the Princesses as they smiled at each other before looking at (Y/N).

(Y/N), you being born on Earth. . . isn't entirely true.

As we both stated, we both knew your mother quite well. We were great friends indeed.

A long time ago, back before both Luna and I became rulers of Equestria, we were great friends with your mother (Y/N) as we were pupils of Star Swirl The Bearded.

Indeed. Luna, (Y/N)'s mother (M/N), and I were all taught by Star Swirl The Bearded.

Your mother was a very good pony (Y/N). She was very heroic, helpful, and willing to stand up for us and all of Equestria similar to you. While we were being taught, she was a tiny bit competitive with us to show each other who can best who in any type of magic. She was well known to most of Equestria as "The Princess of Equestria Heroes" even though it wasn't really a given title to her.

That sounds like my mother alright.

One day however, our friend (M/N) was having a child and we were all excited to see that a young foal was being born to Equestria possibly as a young prince or princess. When that foal was born, it was revealed to be you (Y/N).

Everypony around (Y/N) looked at him in shock that he was actually born thousands of years ago.

What?! But if I was born that long ago, how am I still alive?!

I'd like to know that as well. There is no possible way that he could be standing here right now if he was born that long ago.

Perhaps seeing is more believing.

Princess Celestia then casts a spell which made everypony find themselves in a white void.

The Mane 7 then heard a baby cooing as they looked behind them to see an image of (Y/N)'s mother as a pony and him as a foal. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were also in that image with their friend.

Aww, you look so cute (Y/N).

(Y/N) blushed and rubbed the back of his head at that as they witnessed more of the image.

You were indeed a very young and cute pony (Y/N), but there was one thing about you that brought a shock to all of us.

What all of them saw next in the image brought a shock to them as (Y/N) was reveal to have both a horn and wings which also surprised the three in the image.

We were all surprised to see that you were born an alicorn (Y/N) as you were the first male alicorn stallion to ever exist in Equestria.

So, what about how he went to Earth like he said earlier?

We don't remember everything, but. . .

Princess Celestia made the image of their past disappear and instead created a couple of shadow like figures that looked to be them and (Y/N). She moved them and changed their shape as she spoke.

There was something about (Y/N) that gave him so much power as an alicorn that many people in Equestria wanted to use that power to try and take Equestria for themselves. However, seeing that there was no way to keep (Y/N) safe from so many power-hungry creatures, we had to make a choice. And it was choice that all of us were reluctant to decide for. Star Swirl said that there are many worlds beyond Equestria and there are some without magic. Earth was one of those worlds, so (M/N) came to a conclusion that she had to hide in that world to keep him safe. Luna and I didn't want to see her go, but we both knew that it had to be done to keep the only male alicorn safe. We haven't see her for thousands of years ever since.

Thousands? I was on Earth for only 17 years.

That could possibly explain why your still so young (Y/N). Equestria and Earth aren't exactly linked in time so 17 years on Earth was thousands for Equestria.

Now we see in front of us that you've become such a handsome young stallion (Y/N).

*blushes* Thanks. So that's everything about my past and how I actually had magic on Earth. This is. . . surprising to say the least.

I agree, but it's good to know that you were safe from all of those evil creatures (Y/N).

I concur with Twilight. You are a wonderful friend to us (Y/N), and we're all glad to meet such a heroic alicorn like yourself.

So (Y/N), where is your mother anyways?

When Spike asked that question, (Y/N) didn't want to answer that question as he looked down to the ground with a sad look. Everypony gasped at realizing what his expression implied.

Oh. . . s-sorry. I didn't mean to. . .

No it's okay, but I guess it's my turn to explain now. When I was back on Earth. . . I still had my powers. My mom told me to keep them a secret, as a 5 year old human I did what I was told until one day when I was 10, I was walking outside and I saw a building on fire around the corner. I knew I couldn't just sit there and do nothing while the people in that building are suffocating from all of the flames, so without being seen I used my magic to extinguish the flames and thanks to me, everyone made it out alive.

That was so nice of you to save those people, (Y/N).

Yeah, when I did that I thought to myself that "all of those people are alive because of me, if I was given magic powerful enough to save lives and help others then that's what I'll do." For 7 years, I've done so many things around my home town on Earth that everyone was confused to who or what is doing this. I told my mom about what I'm using my magic for and she told to be careful of when I used it though. I always hid my horn under my hair and my wings were trapped under my clothes so no one could them and they would just see that I'm a normal human.

What (Y/N) was about to say next however, brought some tears to his eyes.

Last month was my mother's birthday, and I wanted to give her a present for taking care of me for all of my years. As I did though. . . some agents then somehow found out who we really were. . . and my mother sent me back here to Equestria in order to protect me from them trying to find out about our magic. I didn't want to leave her, but she said that she would rather die than see me in danger. So. . . she sacrificed herself for me.

Fluttershy, Pinkie, Rarity, and both of the princesses had tears in their eyes hearing that (Y/N)'s mother risked her own life to save him.

*sniffs* I'm going to miss her. . . so much. She was my only family.

Fluttershy and Pinkie both walked up to (Y/N) and hugged him to comfort him.

I'm so sorry that you lost your mother, (Y/N).

Y-Yeah. What Fluttershy said.

Soon the rest of the Mane 7 plus Spike and the princesses joined into a group hug around (Y/N) and he smiled from it.

Ah agree with Rainbow Dash, we're friends and we always look out for each other.

Everyone broke out of the group hug and smiled at (Y/N) and he smiled back.

So that's why you wanted to protect all of us so much. You've not only helped people back on Earth, but you've experienced what it was like to be protected like that.

Yeah and before I left, my mother asked me to make a promise to her.

What was that promise?

To protect all of you and all of Equestria. I couldn't say no to a promise like that and especially after meeting all of you. You're all the most wonderful friends I could ever have in my life.

The Mane 6 smile and blush at (Y/N) slightly and both his compliment and his will to protect them no matter the cost.

That's very noble of you, (Y/N). You are very heroic indeed. I hereby welcome you back to Equestria after all of these years.

*gasps* I threw him a "Welcome to Ponyville Party"! We should make you a "Welcome back to Equestria party"!

(Y/N) smiled at Pinkie's idea and nodded.

The Mane 7 and Spike cheered as they all left the Golden Oak Library to go and give (Y/N) a party to celebrate his return. The princess also exit the library as they watch them run off together.

(Y/N)'s grown up to be such a handsome young stallion. Don't you agree Luna?

I completely agree Celestia. His future may be interesting for what is to come.

When Luna said that, Celestia looked up at the sky and daydreamed for a minute while having a slight blush on her cheeks.

Princess Celestia broke out of her daydream and came back to reality and looked at Luna.

Oh! Yes Luna, I am perfectly fine. We should head back to Canterlot now however, there are some people waiting there for you.

Princess Luna nodded as both of the princesses fly off back to Canterlot where they stay to look over Equestria.

The adventures of the Mane 7 have only just begun as they will make more friends and learn life lessons on friendship and more. . .

Meanwhile in an unknown location, a mysterious figure opens it's eyes and has a shocked look on it's face.

What is this power? Could it be. . . has it returned? I must look deeper into this just to be sure this is completely true.
