I got off my school bus and started walking to the main doors of Liberty High.

"Hi sexy" I heard along with some whistles

"Why don't you come over here and say hi back to us," Another voice said

I turned my head to where the voices were coming from and of course, it was Bryce and a couple other jocks.

"Yes babe, we're talking to you. Come here" Scott, I'm pretty sure, said

"Hey, yeah, won't don't you assholes leave my best friend alone! Goodbye" Jeff yelled at them, coming out of nowhere

He put his arm around my shoulder and together we walked inside of the school

"They piss me off so much" He gritted between his teeth "I know we've only known each other for like 2 days but I want you to stay away from them. All of them. Please" He looked me in the eyes

"Of course, Jeff" I replied to him "Zach and Hannah already warned me about them" I added

"Ooooh, hot momma! Goddamn" Another whistle came and I turned to see Montgomery smirking at me

I saw Jeff put his hand in a fist so I touched his upper arm, hoping that would calm him down

"Hey, don't worry. Their comments don't bother me that much, so they shouldn't bother you" I told him

He looked down at me and took a deep breath

"Whoa, Jeff. You look like you're about to kill someone" Clay spoke, joining us at his locker "What happened?" He asked me, as Jeff opened his locker

"That stupid group of jocks was making comments at me" I explained to him and he rolled his eyes

"Ugh, has anyone given you the speech about them yet?" Clay questioned

"Yes, Hannah gave me a short one and Zach gave me a long one" I answered "And Jeffy, here, just reminded me about them again" I poked at Jeff's side

"Good" Clay nodded

"Alright, let's go to your locker" Jeff announced as he closed his "And don't call me Jeffy again" He looked at me

"Whatever you say... Jeffy" I responded and Clay laughed

We made our way to my locker and saw that Hannah and Tony were already there

"Hello, hello" Hannah smiled as she saw all of us

We all responded with 'morning'

We talked for a little bit longer before the first bell rang

"That's our cue to leave," Clay said

He and Tony said their goodbyes

I turned to my locker and put the combination into the lock but like always it didn't work

Jeff laughed and he did it for me

"Thank you Jeffy" I cheesed at him, as I was getting my things

He opened his mouth to say something but then closed it again

"Aw, are we allowed to call you Jeffy now?!" Hannah asked, excitement evident in her voice

"No. Please no." Jeff begged

"Hmm, I'll take that as a yes... Jeffy" She smirked at him and he groaned

"Okay bye, Jeffy. Have a good class" I told him

Hannah and I made our way to math.

Zach sat with us today at lunch.

If I'm being completely honest, I was barely paying attention to what was happening since I was too busy looking at Justin and thinking about him.

"Thiiiiiiiii" Zach suddenly said

I looked at him

"Are you coming to the game tonight?" He asked me

"Game?" I asked back

"Yeah, I don't know if you had sports at your other school but here we have a baseball team and they have a game tonight" Clay answered

"I know what sports are Clay" I rolled my eyes at him "I meant why would we go to the game?" I asked and they all looked at me like I was crazy "We don't like the jocks, right? Or am I missing something here?" I looked at all of them

"We don't like certain jocks," Hannah said

"Which ones do we like?" I asked, becoming more and more confused

"These ones right here" Jeff pointed to himself and Zach as they both cheesed a smile

I let out a laugh

"All I've been hearing for the past 2 days is how I should stay away from the jocks but yet my two best friends are apart of them." I joked

"Hey! We're the nice ones" Zach pouted

"She does have a point, maybe we should stay away from you two" Tony joked along with me

"That's not funny" Jeff made a sad face

We all laughed

"But to answer your question, yes I'll go to the game" I answered the initial question

Everyone erupted in cheers

We finished our lunch and kept messing around like we did yesterday until the bell rang.

Tony and I made our way to mechanics while everyone else stopped at their lockers.

In the middle of class, someone ran into the room and everyone turned their heads to see who it was.

It was the one and only Justin Foley.

"Mr.Foley, to what do I owe this great pleasure of you interrupting my class?" Our teacher asked him

"I'm, um, in your class now sir" He answered, his eyes quickly scanning the room before they stopped on me

I quickly looked towards Tony who did not look happy at all

"Since when do you mechanics?" Tony asked him, obviously annoyed

"Since now" Justin shrugged, "Thought I might try something new" He added, his eyes still on me

Tony let out a huge sigh before going back to our work

"Aw, is Zachy gonna walk to class with me?" I gushed as I saw Zach leaning on my locker

"I'm not gonna walk to class with you, if you call me Zachy again" He answered

"Good luck with that bro, her and Hannah have been calling me Jeffy since this morning," Jeff said as he walked by us on his way to his next class

I laughed and turned to my locker as I tried to open it but like always it didn't work

"If you swear to never call me Zachy again, I'll open your locker for you" Zach proposed to me and I was debating on saying yes until I saw Hannah coming to my rescue

"Better luck next time, Zachy" She winked at him as she opened my locker

"Thank you Han," I said as I grabbed everything I needed for chemistry

Zach and I made our way to class.

It was only the second day of school and our teacher already assigned us a laboratory report. Great.

"Alright, so I'll pick you up at 6?" Tony asked me at the end of the day

"Yeah, sounds good" I nodded

"Before we all leave, how can I get to Monet's?" I asked the group

"It's like a 7 minute walk from here, just walk down King Street and you'll see it" Clay answered

"Okay, thank you," I said and we all went our separate ways
