《Lucky Kiss Number 13》Chapter 3

✿◕‿◕✿ Tessa's P.O.V
When I woke up this morning, the bright light shinned through the windows causing me to be temporarily blinded. A girl needs her beauty sleep right? I pulled my blanket over my head and snuggled my head against my cozy pillow as I went back into my deep slumber.
Only to be interrupted by an obnoxious sister who was singing five minutes later.
"Wake up Tessa! Or I'm going to keep singing. I'll even sing a Justin Bieber song if you don't get up within the next minute!"
I immediately flung myself out of my bed, while sending her my evil death glare. I never have and never will be a morning person. Mornings for me were like my arch nemeses, Justin Bieber songs were a torture, and together they make a world war three waiting to happening. Plus, listening to my sister's screeching would be suicidal.
My body ached at every spot imaginable, I'm pretty sure I was still half asleep.
"What?" I manage to say, not even having the energy to go all psycho bitch mood on her.
"I was dying to know about what happened yesterday. A gossip is going around school that you were expelled from school because of that fight with Rochelle. I wanted to ask you yesterday, but you were knocked out when I got home. And mom being mom, she said something about how it wasn't her place to tell. I want details now!"
"Don't remind me." A groan escaped my lips, before I plopped my sore body back onto the wonderful thing I like to call a bed. I stuffed my face back onto the pillow, trying my best as possible to block out any sound.
"AND I WAS LIKE BABY, BABY, BABY, OH!" Chasity wailed on the top of her lungs, while rapidly shaking my body like a mad man.
"Okay, I'm up."
After hearing that voice, I was wide awake. No need for a splash of cold water on my face, just need to hear her terrible singing to a terrible song and I'm good.
"C'mon, tell me the details now."
I stared up at my white ceiling, remembering all of the drama that had happen yesterday. So much for trying to forget what had happen yesterday. I released a long sigh before replying to her.
"Well, Rochelle got all up in my face because Jake was talking to me. You can see how that went. And a bunch of stuff was said. Then she was about to make a remark about mom, and then before I knew it a fight had happen. I'm pretty sure whatever Rochelle told her mom was exaggerated a lot, but as you can see now I am expelled."
"That bitch, well I'm glad you broke her stupid fake face. I'm going to kick the shit out of her today!" She hissed in a murderous tone.
When it came to family, I could always have my sister's back. I'm not going to lie, things weren't always like this. We actually used to be one of those sisters who hated each other's guts, always trying to make each other's lives a living hell.
But eventually from all what had happen in the past, we came to the conclusion that we needed each other for support and comfort. From after that one incident, we have been closer than ever imagine. If you had told me four years ago that we be friends, I would had laughed in your face.
"I don't think mom need another call from the principle telling her that her youngest daughter had also been expelled from school. Just try and stay out of Rochelle's radar."

"Can't promise you anything, oh and mom called from work telling you not to be late for your first day of school." She ruffled my messy bed hair like I was a little kid, before making her way out of my room.

I slowly observed myself in my floor length mirror. My makeup wasn't crazy at all, just a something simple that could be easily accomplished within six minutes. I had a tiny amount of concealer, shimmer touch, mascara and a hint of lip gloss to top it all off.
For my outfit, I literally threw on the first thing I saw in my closet. I really didn't want to be late on the first day at a brand new school, I don't think I would want to start off at a new school being known as the girl who is always late either.
I quickly looked under my bed, pulling out a pair of chocolate brown army boots and sliding them onto my feet. My eyes wondered to my alarm clock, I had a good forty-five minutes to spare until school started. Wow, for once I actually won't be late for something.
Grabbing onto my olive green jacket, I put it on over my white strapless summer dress that my grandma had personally made me last Christmas. I shuffled my feet over to my night stand grabbing my bag as well as my phone.

"You need a ride to school today?" I asked my sister while trying to look for some type of desert in my fridge. All I saw were yogurt, fruits, leftovers, and a bunch of other food that I didn't like. For some reason this morning I was craving for sweets.
"No, I got a ride this morning. Eat something healthy for once Tessa, you may eventually start becoming fat sooner or later if you don't watch what you eat."
She threw one of her healthy 100 calorie granola bars at my head, how yummy. How do you even get full with a granola bar? Last time I checked, breakfast was the most important meal of the day.
"Oh Tessa? Mom took your car to work since the SUV wouldn't work this morning, if you want I can ask Alec to give you a ride to school."
"Alec?" I said nearly choking on the oats and nuts. She sent me and innocent nodded as a hint of pink started to appear onto my sister's cheeks. Aw, looks like my sister has a possible new boyfriend. One that I finally approve of, Alec was actually boyfriend material.
"The British boy with the cute little accent? The one that always pull out your chair at lunch? The one who is always buying you lunch? The one that is your possible future boyfriend?" I said to my sister in a teasing manner.
Her face got redder than ever imagine. Was it even possible to get this red? Her face was exactly the same shade as a tomato, this was so adorable!
"Shut up! Are you coming or what? He's outside." She quickly jogged to the front door as she flung it open revealing a black BMW convertible.
Looks like someone is egger to see her man.
"Hey Tessa." He said to me as I made my way into the back seat while Chasity took the front seat. I gave him a friendly smile as well as a waved.
"Heard you're going to Pineview now after you were expelled. At least someone had finally put Rochelle in her spot, to bad she had to learn that after you broke her ugly nose." He added, causing me to let out a groan.

"How did you know?"
Did everyone back at my old school know about the incident? News sure travels fast. I mean sure some people saw, but no one actually recorded the whole fight.
"Everyone knows Tessa. Plus Rochelle posted a picture of herself at the hospital on Instagram."
A let out another groan, this time it sounded like I was in pain causing both Chasity and Alec to laugh at my agony.
Rochelle was being such a drama queen, I'm pretty sure she is going to come up with some stupid story telling everyone how she was the victim. Man, I wouldn't even be there to defend my name.
Well, I guess that is what you have sisters for.
☆ ♥ '•.¸.•' ♥ º ☆
"Well thanks for the ride Alec, be good to my sister or I'll break your nose too." I sent him a cheeky smile, I even manage to bring a smile upon their faces too. I hate to admit it, but that joke was pretty funny. Geez, when did I become this cocky? I think hanging out with jocks too much started to rub off on me.
Once I got my schedule all in my hands, I quickly skimmed the paper reading my classes. So I had Gym, Drama, Lunch, Home Economics, AP Biology, and then AP English.
Ugh, I sucked really badly at gym. I couldn't even shoot a basketball into a net even if my life depended on it. To make matters worse, it was my first period. Who wants to have gym right away in the morning?
Now, where the heck was locker 5698? This school was a lot bigger than my old one, everything about it looked like it was renovated into a more modern look. How fancy, I may be getting used to this sooner than I had expected.
"Hey new girl! Wait up!" A petite blonde ran up to my side breathing quite heavily.
"You sure walk fast, Tessa right? I was assigned to show you your classes, but you left the office before I had a chance to I introduce myself. Well anyways I'm Kaylenne."
Immediately sparks lit in my eyes, I was so happy of her offer. I mean sure she may have been forced to take me around the school, but at least I won't get lost or late for class. I send her a shy nod as she grabbed onto my paper and began to read it. Her face automatically lit up.
"Yay we have every single class together except for bio and english! You can be my new lunch buddy too! C'mon we don't want to be late for class now do we?"
☆ ♥ '•.¸.•' ♥ º ☆
Today went by really quickly, and so far no sign of Keaton anywhere. Maybe luck is starting to come on my side.
Kaylenne turned out to be a really nice person. And despite her happy personally when we first met, she was really down to earth.
I'm sure that we were going to become buddies in no matter of time. Geez, I sounded like a kindergartener who just made her first friend. As for lunch, it went by pretty well.
I sat with Kaylenne and her friends, they were also very welcoming. But I got a couple of odd stares from them. Not the kind that the new girl gets, more like they were scared of me.
How odd.
I just had one more class to go then I can finally return home to the comfort of my pillow.
When I arrive at English, I got a couple of stares from the girls. Was I that intimidating to look at? What was I going to do, eat them?
The only empty and available seat left according to the bald teacher was the seat next to some guy that looked like your typical bad boy. He had the whole leather jacket and tattoo look going on. While to my left was an empty seat which apparently belonged to someone who hadn't bothered to show up to class.
"Hey girly, your Tessa Queens right?"
I took a glimpse to my right to see that Mr. Bad Boy was talking to me.
"Uh yea?"
"So I heard you got expelled from your old school, the video of the fight was pretty awesome. Who would known that some girl could have thrown such good punches."
Hey, what was that supposed to mean? Wait video?
Rochelle.
Ugh, that bitch. I'm 100% sure that she got the surveillance tape off of her little mommy! When we fought, no one had any cameras out. Of course, only she would make the situation bigger than it really is.
I just completely silenced by his words. If he saw does that mean the rest of the people at this school saw?
Was this the reason of the odd stares I was receiving all day long? Great, I already have a reputation of being a mean girl on my first day at school. My personal bubble had felt as it had just popped right now.
Eventually he notice that I was ignoring him and he went back to sleeping, while I began taking notes on a topic that my old English class had already covered.
"Mr. Collins, how nice of you to show up to my class out of your five classes that you had skipped today. Go take a seat."
Keaton!
Just my luck, just when I thought I could avoid him. I'm kind of surprise that he takes AP classes. Keaton was still preoccupied by talking to one of his buddies that I think that I recognized from the football team.
Do you know what I just realized? The only seat that is left in this classroom is the one right beside me. I wanted to face palm myself right now.
I quickly looked down at the table, staring at the piece of paper, hoping that my hair would cover my face.
"Tessie! I knew you couldn't resist me for too long, and even transferring schools for me?"
Ugh, he called me Tessie again. Of course, it was pretty obvious whose voice that had belonged too.
"Hello to you too." I muttered under my breath.
I took a glance at the clock on the wall, class was going to end in a couple of minutes. What was the point of him even coming to class?
Why do I have a feeling that Keaton is going to be a lot more annoying than Rochelle?
"So-"
-Ring-
Thank you! Saved by the bell, I quickly got all of my stuff together as I speed out of class, not even looking back.
"Tessa!"
Great, just great he caught up to me.
"Do you need a ride home?" He added while sending me a killer smirk.
A huge part of me wanted to decline his offer. But my only options were a forty-five minute walk or taking the smelly and crowded bus.
How bad could a ten minute car ride with him possibly be?
☆ ♥ '•.¸.•' ♥ º ☆
The car ride with him was actually quite pleasant, not a single cocky remark came out of his mouth. It was actually quite peaceful.
"Well, this is my house. Thanks for the ride, bye!"
I unbuckled my seat belt, preparing to get out of his car when he walked out of the car and came onto my side and open the door. Who would have known that this cocky bastard could be such a gentlemen.
"See you at practice tomorrow!"
"What?" I stared at him blankly.
"You are my Lucky Charm, meaning you come with me to all of my practices and games. I'll pick you up at twelve tomorrow."
"And if I don't go?"
"I know where you live now Tessa. I can just come back here and abduct you."
Man I knew it was a bad idea to step foot anywhere near him. Am I a magnet to bad luck or something? I'm starting to wish that I had never ever met Keaton. Why was he so persisting about me being the Lucky Charm?
I made my way up my driveway, before seeing my sister sit on our front porch taking a bite out of her freeze before giving that look.
"So are you guys like official make out buddies now?"
Was she serious? I lay my hands on my hips, "No way are my lips going to be near his lips ever again."
"You never know Tess, you may end up falling in love with him. You read books, the girl always end up falling for the bad boy, jock, player or whatever the screams delinquent."
I made my way towards the frame of the door. "I don't roll that way remember? Guys like Keaton come with too many complications." I told her before making my way into the house.
Note: So not too much excitement happened in this chapter, this chapter was more of a filler. But anyhow I was supposed to be studying for my french test tomorrow and then I just felt like writing.Thank God I actually listened in that class or I would have had failed. Exams are coming up in and a month, and my teachers are starting to give us a bunch of exam prep and loads of homework, but I'll try my best to upload soon!
Oh by the way, outfit on the side:)
